Something that really pisses me off.
Yes..same with Target in the Phoenix area (where there are millions of Hispanics, probably 95% illegals from Mexico)...I saw it in some Denver-area Targets also (Aurora). Problem is, the economy depends on cheap labor from Mexico...got to have people for the yard service, the drive thru at Jack in the Box and McDonalds, maid services, etc...

Dodge Viper brand to be sold to foreigners
Hmmm...I had heard something about that..could be.

Dodge Viper brand to be sold to foreigners
With investment from interested parties, Viper could become in an interesting little cottage car company, like a Panoz or Saleen, or the UK's many cottage car builders (like TVR was before the Russian kid ruined it).

Well it looks like the world will end on 9/10/08

2009 Honda Fit
Hondas have always had a bit of a premium over other brands... they are further up the ladder than the Korean cheapies...

2009 Honda Fit
How about a black '70 Sport Fury GT... aircraft carrier proportions..hidden headlights..chop-top look (I always thought the roof was too small for the body on those cars)...great styling.. I'd like to have a couple '70s cars for the occasional weekend drive. Don't have the garage space currently...would have to have a '71 LTD 2dr ht and a '71 Riviera.

Escalade Lambda Confirmed Again
I never could figure that out..I've always thought FWDs by nature sucked at handling, being nose heavy, prone to understeer...that was a big WTF??? moment for me.

Something that really pisses me off.
I have a lot of friends that are Indian immigrants...many speak English (the Queen's English) better than many US-born Anglos that I've met...

Something that really pisses me off.
Yes, as is Canada. North America. I think gmforlife meant the US which some commonly call America.

Escalade Lambda Confirmed Again
Woo...that would give Caddy an A-class competitor...how about a V-series version? 1.4 litres of fury on the Nurburgring.

Something that really pisses me off.
On Cox cable here in Phoenix I get at least 5 Spanish channels... it is fun to channel surf through them sometimes, the telenovellas (soaps) often have hot curvy Latinas..

Something that really pisses me off.
Dude, try and at least spell 'America' correctly..

McCain's trend
They fixate on nonsense because they have nothing of substance of their own to present.

Something that really pisses me off.
I hear you..it's kind of absurd...but that's the way it is... targeted advertising. I've seen Spanish language TV commercials here on local, English language stations! Spanish speakers are the fastest growing group in the US..

Something that really pisses me off.
Well, the military is desperate for new recruits...they have to get what they can get.

Something that really pisses me off.
Heh-heh..it's like that all over here in Arizona... all the signs in Target, Wal-Mart, etc are bilingual. I've seen a few billboards in Spanish only.

Slighty Red
I'd like an interior color choice other than gray. I like the interior design, esp. the asymmetry and the way the center stack and IP are tied together, not unlike past BMWs. It's nice to see a dash done that way when most today go for the symmetrical approach. I like the lines and proportions of the exterior...I esp. like how Audi is moving away from traditional FWD proportions and going for more RWD-like proportioning.

Exploring area roads...
I love driving..and part of it is that I love maps... I've always liked studying maps of areas..and wanderlust..I love traveling, always want to see what's over the horizon, around the corner, over the next hill. I've managed to visit 38 states over the years, 2 provinces, and 8 countries...lots ahead to see over the coming years. I think traveling cross country several times w/ my folks in the family motor homes got me hooked as a kid on travel. When I was back in Ohio during the summers in high school, I got a platte book of all the townships and counties in the state, and started studying the state routes, county roads, township roads in my home county. I learned the roads of Tuscarawas County inside and out.

McCain's trend
I like C-Span... I watch them frequently and the BBC America evening news. I also listen to NPR.

McCain's trend
Yes... I'm renting my sister's house in Phoenix currently (she's working in Ohio). Nice lush green lawn, lots of flowering plants, palm trees, no cactus, huge pool (with diving board, 20+ ft long). Standing out in the yard, you would never know you are in a desert..the neighborhood looks like LA.. Arizona is a strange place... I'm not sure how much longer I'll be here..starting a contract next week for 6 months...come 2009, I may move back to Denver or maybe to a blue state. Agreed...Cindy comes off as kind of creepy...

McCain's trend
Yes, that's a hot button issue... I know a lot of people in Colorado that aren't happy about Arizona's allocation of water (I have a friend in Denver who always gives me a hard time about 'stealing his water'). I'm still amazed at the growth of the Phoenix metro and Las Vegas... without a/c, irrigation, and Colorado River water, there's no way you could have such large populations in such a harsh climate.

McCain's trend
Well put..I concur. McCain's approach has definitely changed since 2000.. I've read that and heard that also from Arizonans.
