  1. I doubt if it would have made any difference...
  2. Janet Jackson
  3. Maybe shorter titles will save precious disk space and lead to fewer of those dumbass 'CPU quota exceeded' errors...
  4. I wonder what '70s model had the heaviest doors...I'm thinking one of the massive 2dr coupes like the Lincoln MK IV or V, '74-76 Thunderbird, or a '71-76 B/C/E like a '76 Coupe De Ville or Eldorado...
  5. Yes, I like the terms estate or touring better than 'wagon'...wagon sounds more utilitarian...SUVs are the wagons of this era anyway.
  6. Oh, well my head and face.. I prefer the shaved head look rather than the graying horseshoe haircut...
  7. I've tried several times over the years to grow a goatee...no luck..I can never get it very full on my upper lip or lower lip..you can still count the hairs after a couple months. I can do the Amish style beard (all on my neck) but that doesn't look so good. So in recent years, I've been shaving everything except for my eyebrows.... kind of the Michael Chiklis (The Shield) look..
  8. I wonder how the dimensions compare to a Smart FourTwo..probably a foot longer or so.
  9. MMMMMmm...10 cup holders...but not heated/chilled/lighted ones, I bet.
  10. Leaving vowels out also can be used to shorten topic titles.
  11. Seems better than more of the same with another Republican and their failed agenda..
  12. I'd like to see more choices in car interiors again... I hate the depressing gray that has become the norm in the last decade... I remember Ford even some decent lt green interiors in late '90s Explorers..
  13. It's in the Wikipedia entry on Biden also..news travels fast.
  14. How about Hillary? Still a long shot, but it would be interesting...
  15. Could be...I'm still waiting on my text message from team Obama about it..
  16. That's kind of wierdly cool...how about taking a typical 4dr SUV and doing the same shortening...make an Escalade Coupe de Ville for instance..
  17. I notice an increase in humidity in my sinuses... having lived for over 10 years in very dry places, I notice humidity..
  18. It will be interesting to see if Tata brings cars to the US eventually... Working in the software biz, I know alot of Indians...most seem to drive Toyotas--Corollas and Camrys, though I know a few that drive Nissans, Hondas, VWs, BMWs, and one fellow that drove a TrailBlazer..
  19. Sounds even worse than Phoenix in the summer, which is disgusting..
  20. Interesting they went with a steel wheel w/ trim ring and plastic center..even the most basic V6 Mustang has aluminum wheels...
  21. Yes..that's the one I saw...reminds me of a larger version of the '80s S-10/Blazer wheel.
  22. From Wikipedia: On 12 March 2007 a consortium led by Prodrive chairman David Richards purchased Aston Martin for £475m/USD$848m.[13] Prodrive has no financial involvement in the deal.[14] Ford will keep a stake in the company (valued at GBP 40 million / USD 70 million). The consortium also consisted of John Sinders, an Aston Martin collector; and two Kuwaiti investment companies, Investment Dar and Adeem Investment Co.
  23. Well, it is the modern equivalent of the J-car. The J-car was a world car, sold in different brands, different names, different bodystyles in many markets. This car, though, will have the same styling and name in more markets than the J did, though.
  24. Yes, sweet car...my friend Steve in Denver has a '91... I've ridden in it many times, driven it a few times..it's really a sweet car...black w/ black interior. The handling is great.
  25. Very cool... I had vaguely heard of these cars before... impressive to think of a Chevette race car. I could care less for NASCAR--it's the WWF of motorsport---but rallying, touring car racing (BTCC, etc), and F1 have long been my favorites..
