  1. This won't be a SUV; it will be a "high-bodied Rolls-Royce"
  2. The Escalade has earned a name on its own. If the previous STS was called Fleetwood or DeVille it would still have sold poorly... Cadillac's problem is mostly branding these days, at least in the US as product is there for the most part. Agreed on the US consumer forgetting about every little bit of fuel efficiency concerns when gas prices go down...
  3. He did. But that engine is more likely to be sold in China only.
  4. Looks very crisp and angular, and a little bit blocky as well, yet overall quite elegant. To be honest it reminded me of the Audi A8 which is my current favorite of the German 3 flagships. For that alone I'm leaning towards liking the CT6 a lot already. Can't wait for the April unveiling!
  5. I'd make it AWD only (leave the FWD models to other brands).
  6. Makes sense. Saw a red Renegade on the road today; not a bad looking vehicle.
  7. Well, this isn't (and can't be!) your old heavily dis####ed Cadillac... I think current-gen CTS sales, without the coupe that was about a third of overall CTS sales and with higher prices compared to the previous gen make a good case for Cadillac being able to significantly go upwards in price. As long as the product is there (as it generally is).
  8. If it's more of a raised AWD sports wagon than something too LR-like, then it's OK as it won't go against Jaguar's brand character and also won't step into LR's toes...
  9. That uncahanged Cascada (plus the Avenir grille) grille tells me Buick might well be moving moving away from the waterfall grille...
  10. Hope GM delivers on those promises. The talent is surely there t just needs proper Management. I think this Buick car can (maybe together with a NG FWD LaCrosse) effectively replace the XTS in terms of target demographics and independenttly of the wheels driven being front or rear. Maybe even go a little beyond what the XTS offers to 'soft' luxury buyers today.
