  1. This car is going to be seriously BAD. ASS. Also, Take note, Dodge, on how to maintain a rear seat AND lose weight for said seat.
  2. Ahhh I guess that's fair enough.. Those do like marginally, and I mean MARGINALLY, better than a typical hearse.
  3. Wow, I didn't even think of the off-road alternatives. 4Runner TRD starts at 37k and what seems like an adequate and more capable Wrangler is in the 30-40k range.. being honest I'm not sure what packages are needed on the Wrangler to make it worthy but it would be dogshet to drive daily in comparison to a Compass.
  4. Did the Mustang out sell all of Alpha, again?
  5. If I had somewhere to take my vehicle off road I would absolutely want those goodies more. As it is, mine would be on pavement 99.9% of the time and the other 0.01% would be grass, lol. I agree with the navigation thing. I wouldn't pay extra for it.
  6. Answer me this then.. How in the fck are they supposed to sell cars if not all of their CUE systems are working properly? Because I'm sure as hell not the only person who's had an issue fiddling with the fake buttons. You can blame the users 1000 times over but that doesn't make the system any better in comparison to their competition. Sync3 is not MyFordTouch. Nuff said there. MyFordTouch is what was in my Escape.
  7. Brake assist? That $h!'s all over their commercials! It does have it.. Along with their parking assist. does the Compass have THAT?!?!?! lol 34k and no leather? Does it come with lube for the raping?
  8. I just built them both(Latitude not Trailhawk) and at just under 33k I think they are pretty much identical in their content other than the 2.0T. Put the 1.5T back in there and it's 31,640 for the Ford. The 1.5t is 179hp/177tq (2250rpm for the tq). Buuuut to get the auto tailgate is an additional $500 so they're about 2k apart. I didn't add either panoramic sun roof or trailer packages because they were both single add-ons. I did have to add the spare tire to the Compass though because..the Escape comes with one and, IMO, that's stupid to not have one. I didn't change either wheels as they're both 18's in Titanium and Limited form. I also added the Beats sound system as Sony's 10speaker system was w/ Sync3 & navigation. After trying to match everything up it seems more like a $1000-1500 difference with the 1.5T or a wash w/ the 2.0T. I don't see anything pictured!
  9. Every month it blows my mind seeing MKT sales.. Who in their right mind buys that thing?!?!
  10. Or... they could just make a better product. It is clear as day that not everybody likes it. It's bad when my Focus' Sync3 outperforms Cadillac's system.
  11. No, because I literally saw him touching the correct spot and it didn't work 100% of the time. It reacted the same for my finger and in video reviews I've watched as well when shopping ATSs.
  12. What? We're not talking about life or a chef's opinion(which are both subjective) we're talking about a price of a vehicle. So, to you, vehicle prices across the board are completely subjective 100% of the time?
  13. We can agree to disagree because I've been in a Cadillac and used them and while they aren't terrible they are far from the best. That's why they're knocked so hard, because what they are compared to. Others just do the controls better. Even the salesman that showed me an ATS had difficulties getting the "buttons" to work consistently.
  14. But there can always be a number assigned to the vehicle even though that number will vary by zip code. Even if it does have a piss poor resale for an area a number can still be put to that.
  15. I wasn't talking about the touch screen in the first place. I said specifically the HVAC-like controls. "It isn't the touch screen people don't like. It is the non-physical "buttons" for the whole HVAC that kind of sucks."
  16. That's not a subjective metric. It can be measured by looking at the used market and book values.
  17. Because a manual dial or button you can take a glimpse and then feel for it(assuming the user has any decent hand/eye coordination) without having to look at it the whole time. Glance, reach, adjust, glance. When there isn't a real button(and had there not been haptic feedback) then it's difficult to adjust without looking down for a longer period of time.
  18. Ohhhh does it have a little vibration??? I knew that... Oh I definitely look down but it's the amount of time looking away is what I was getting at.
  19. Yeah i just went to build one as well and Trailhawk or Lattitude you still have to add all of the same stuff. I would have thought the Trailhawk would have come with a few things other than wheels, tires, and tow hooks. I built a Latitude to nearly 33k. I guess that's still a $1500 less than my Escape MSRP'd for but that's also still a 180hp engine w/o a few things.
  20. It isn't the touch screen people don't like. It is the non-physical "buttons" for the whole HVAC that kind of sucks. I don't mind the touch buttons but in all honesty in order to operate you have to take your eyes off the road longer to operate them, that's just how they are. You won't know you upped the temp 3 degrees without looking down a couple times whereas an actual button you can feel it click when turned.
  21. I totally love the looks of the new Compass but only offering a n/a 4 banger sucks.
  22. I think it looks GREAT for a sub compact. And those wheels...those wheels look great to me. I HOPE this little 3 pot sounds similar to a motorcycle 3cyl because I LOVE those sounds.
  23. Yeah I've heard caffeine headaches can be pretty brutal.. That's good you're enjoying your gym visits! I had a brutal leg workout yesterday... I've finally grown to not hate leg day and I kind of like it now. I think realizing the benefits has helped me out in that category. Honestly, as douchy as vaping CAN be, they're pretty damn cool. You can get some kickass flavors aaaaand wean down the nicotine levels as well. A few friends of mine have them and I guarantee if I smoked I would want one of those to quit. Damn, $400. It's easy to get there when $2-6 per purcase adds up pretty quick. Damn, those lights look awesome! Are they still dimmable? And how big of a bitch was it to get back there? I can't imagine how rough that may have been.
  24. Hahaha I drink quite a bit of Diet Dew myself. That's easily the diet soda of choice. I probably drink around 32-48oz a day but I make sure every time I fill that "cup" up I finish and refill my water bottle as well. I'll usually drink 1-2 more bottles of water a day than my soda but that's still too much soda to be drinking. I just don't enjoy only drinking water all day every day. It sucks. lol It's terrible having free fountain soda at work. $h!, it sounds like you're drinking $15 worth of caffeine a day!
