  1. The Impala should just stay the fleet whore that it is as a W-Body. Making it EPII will make it too similar to the Malibu, and then they'll be competeing with each other. AT least right now it's easy to choose: Old fart, doesn't handle great, outdated but cheap and reliable car, good for old people (or people who like the way old cars drive), cheap people, and fleets = Impala. Sleek, modern, handles well, not a bargain but competes on it's own merits with the best in class = Malibu. If it were RWD it could be clearly differentf rom teh Malibu and compete with different cars, but Zeta's dead so might as well milk it for all it's worth...worked out well for Ford for almost 30 years.
  2. Forget being hit, just riding one when the road gets wet.
  3. Hey Argen, that's some very nice color and clean drawing you have there. Only thing is that your car looks squished...too short and too narrow...like a clown car. If you stretch it out and lower the roof it'lllook sick...I know, I tried it. If you wanna see you can PM me.
  4. Yup, truely one of the great ads of our time.
  5. All this hardtop talk..but the real question is WTF is this automobile thing you guys speak of?
  6. Well he is ona road trip, I talked to him the other night...his daughter ruined his laptop by letting the tide come in on it at a beach, so all he's got is his iPhone right now. Maybe you'll hear more when he gets back.
  7. Speaking of which, I miss barn only the Mini Clubman has them now.
  8. Speaking of rare muscle cars, wait until you guys see what I took a picture of...it'll make some of you cry.
  9. Always bring an umbrella. By the way, the backwards one doesn't make nearly as much sense, except when somebody hydroplanes into a tree at 70 mph I guess. "Remember kids to always wear clean underwer. You don't want to get run over by a car and leave skid marks."
  10. Well besides thinking that the Reventon is one of the top 5 coolest cars on the earth, you have to admit a lot of work and skill went into this car.
  11. That is brilliant Oldsmoboi...too bad the government will never see it like that.
  12. Never been to a Costco...is it the same idea as BJ's Wholesale Club or Sam's Club?
  13. Anyne else notice how he used to love the Camaro now never talks about it?
  14. Go compare what you get for a 5-series for the same price as a G8. Top Gear did this and let's just say the performance difference and what you get for the money is more than a little noticeable.
  15. Nice to see Toyota playing catch up for a change.
  16. Fantasic rendering my ass.
  17. This shows just how badly the government, esopecially the current administration, runs our country, and how bad our economic situation is going to get.
  18. At first I though D.P. was Donkey Punch. Also, you're bicthing about a movie because it has a classic car with no B-Pillar...there's just no pleasing some people! Although the rest of the movie seemed to sound like ass anyway.
  19. Wow smk, something we both agree on!
  20. Although I agree withs ome of them, different strokes for different folks. Although some of them are just tasteless.
  21. Is there a supercar the Fiero can't replicate? I mean, the profile kinda sucks because it looks stubby...he should have stretched the wheelbase to match the real car, but nevertheless it is amazing work.

  23. Yes, I especially love the GTs...I saw a neglected yellow one besides a Mustang II this weekend...very sad.
  24. If GM were to keep Hummer they need to realize it will now and most likely forever be a low volume, niche brand. Since the brand is very focused and has a clear purpose, it's easy to make it work if it can stay focused and not be expected to be a volume brand. It also doesn't have to be about massive offroaders either...only urbanites who slapped 26" wheels on them bought the H2's anyway, or at least a large chunk of teh slaes were to them. Make them smaller, and more feul efficient, and throw some diesels in. Small and more nimble is better for off-roading anyway. The problem is whether or not GM has the forsight to think of this, or if the brand can survive this economic downturn.
  25. I still see them everywhere as well, particularly the Alero. The Auroras are rare, but always a treat to see. I'd still like to have one.
