  1. the novas prob gonna be in flat black primer in the future, so when it is, (after my new mighty cam is installed as well) i feel like doing just that, driving around in a $h!ty looking, loud (open headers!) gas guzzler to stick it to prius and smart drivers
  2. i like the way the rear glass curves independantly of the hatch
  3. i WILL cry if we dont get the stick version
  4. head lights remind me of the Edge....
  5. as a volunteer firefighter, ive been training on the Jaws Of Life alot, and damn what a useful tool it is.... though its one of the most valuable tools on the scene of a car accident, it has its roots in racing... what famous company introduced the first jaws of life? (the tool itself, not the name brand) no googling!
  6. yay for the tail fins!!!!

  9. *raises hand!!* oooh! pick me!!! does it start with a motor desgined by a division with three shields, and used by the arrowhead, and eventually strapped with a turbocharger (to make it a REAL rocket ) used in the early 60's Y Bodies?? maybe two of those motors on a common crank?!?!?! i often wonder what the the 68-72 nova lineup woulda looked like if it was a full lineup offered when the nova/chevy II lineup in 62? (four door, two door sedan, two door HARDTOP droptop, and wagon
  10. AATbloke... may i contend with you that you make many well thought out, factual arguments. though like i said before, the problem you seem to have is getting carried away with stubbornness. can we agree something? there are many reasons for GM to keep vauxhall open.... but what many people are trying to explain, it seems, is that if GM wanted to, they could replace vauxhall with opel in a heartbeat. lets get passed the brand awareness issue... im not gonna get into the negative ramifications of replacing vauxhall with opel, or the brand loyalty/awareness of vauxhall in england, because i dont know anything about the UK market, or how the english feel, as i have no experience in the matter. what i still stand firm on, is that while vauxhall does have an legal and financial identity, GM can do whatever the hell it wants with it. im not asking it in a sarcastic way, im ansking in a curious way... are there in fact any models with sheetmetal exclusive to vauxhall? anything not shared with another division?
  11. my neighbor just got an orange one... its not terrible.. but it just screams "IM HEAVY AS SIN" when you look at it
  12. My girlfriend: So, if you can go randomly, anywhere in the state (NY) where would you go? Me (just choosing for no reason): Buffalo? Her: NO! i said in NY, Dumbass!
  13. i have no problem explaining your stance and knowledge of the car market....but if you could pose your posts in a less demeaning and arrogant way, i think all would appreciate it
  14. i love the looks, but ibve heard about alot of problems associated with the car
  15. comments like this are totally unnessecary... i believe you can explain your point with out degrading comments pointed toward another just trying to defend his side of the situation. i understand how you could be a bit annoyed at PCS's way of.... posting... but YellowJacket deserves some respect around here... yet you, my friend, have shown noone on this board any respect, and presented no reason to be respected yourself
  16. i made my aol screenname a few years ago.... SuperSport for the obvious chevy performance trim, and 623 is my birthday (june 23) ive used this name for like everything since
  17. Plainview-Old Bethpage... two hamlets, but i consider them one ads we share our school systems, water districts, fire department etc... we have just under 30,000 people, a somewhat well-to-do area, as much as i make fun of the area, i couldnt imagine leaving it.... theres some cool random cars around here, though alot are the snobby rich type that must have the newest most expensive car, brag about paying over sticker, and looking down on my old GMs as trash...
  18. though i want my ST, a tie for second would be a Solstice Targa (id swap an LS and a 6 speed) or a Z06 =)
  19. just take notice of keeping the car detailed (which doesnt seem a problem for you) and in the winter, get the salt residue off when you can.... G bodies are very resiliant, you know this cort!
  20. the only reason i stopped DD the nova was the gas mileage/i have alot of projects that i need to keep that car off the road for... but im driving my G-body everyday, and its been pretty reliable so far.... im getting decent mileage (prob 17-19?) and it gets some looks, so its treating me well
  21. 68 -72.... the best years of the nova.... not that im biased or anything
  22. i know its a year away, but the ST is my vehicle of choice1!!!
