No, I was replying to smk's post immediately above mine. Yes, the crewcab longbeds are coming out first, and they look huge. The extended cab should appear more reasonably sized. Still wish a regular cab were available, I feel it makes good sense, when this will be pitched to business fleets as a base model.
-
That is for a Canyon Crew Cab longbed, the largest configuration available, and the first out. The extended cab base price is like $21k. The Sierra price is for a regular cab, and we all know they go north from there.

Not true. There is a dealer-installed seat heater kit shown in the Accessories, for cloth or leather seats.

I know it's late in the day, I wasn't in this morning. I hope it's been a good one!
-
Yup, saw that this morning. Seems odd that GMC is always making people wait longer than Chevy.

Hi, that's a nice town.

Wow, 40-45 MPG? That is crazy!
-
I remember that!

Yup, and I am sure the conventional automatic has improved the driving feel immensely over the droning, draining CVT. That Cherokee has really caught on well. The Ram pickup is packaged well, with a budget sport trim, and many other choices for trim packages, not to mention the EcoDiesel, a wild card that seems to have paid off. I understand trucks with this engine are sitting on lots an average of 15 days before being snatched up.

I would definitely go Commando.

Chrysler seems to be trying more than GM though, on the interior and exterior color selections. LOVE the Eco Green Metallic on the Cherokee, AND, there is no upcharge. GM charges $495 for green paint? That is nothing but greed.

On that topic, the Trax can't get here fast enough. I predict the HR-V will easily outsell the Fit when it comes out. The Trax v. HR-V sales figures will be interesting to see... I think the Chevy is a tick too conservative though, in a few ways. Color & Trim, for example. That is one longstanding beef I have with GM products, their lack of color vibrancy and variety, inside and out. I think the Encore and Trax also need a 1.6t engine as an option. Encore Color & Trim seems fine, with Buick's conservative customer base, but Trax needs to be available in Dragon Green, a bright yellow and a dark blue, in addition to what they've got.

OK, GM has their full Colorado site up, finally. But the Build & Price is crashed already. Went over to cars.com, and their pricing is clean and easy to use. Official prices. 2015 Colorado WT 4X4 extended cab, $27,760 with destination Convenience package, $490 Appearance package, $435 3.6L V6, $1235 G80 locker, $325 Trailering package, $250 (forced tie-in with G80) Interior protection package, $250 (rubber mats and bed mat) Tailgate liner, $80 Off-Road side steps, $745 (open style steps that should be easy to keep clean) $31,650. Lotsa dough.

Horrible performance. Makes me fear resale value.

Buick News: Buick Debuts Envision Crossover In China
ocnblu replied to William Maley's topic in Buick
Wanted to see more than an Opel hockeystick body line here.. wanted a Sweepspear. It does have that "different" look to it that seems like parallel universe... not American. Stunted. Trying to find a good word. -
Yeah, Ford is advertising a "special coating" to prevent aluminum corrosion on their new truck. I'll believe it when I see it over time... we still see plenty of corrosion on Ford aluminum body panels - hoods and liftgates.
-
Agreed, even for the "small" truck, the MSRP is crazy... but it is right in line, mostly, with Tacoma and Frontier.

Here we go, descending into darkness for a long winter's nap, but before we turn on our headlights, let's get out there and see what we can see, there's a lot of cruising time left. Post your interesting, unusual, or really cool vehicular spots right here.

Have an excellent one, playing in the FL!

That there Niva is a bit insane. I wonder if it's on a FWD/AWD transverse platform. I am sure, based on everything we've seen over the years with regards to the Lada Niva, that this new one has some big little shoes to fill. I am digging the tires.
-
I would have preferred something with added perceived toughness, via some trim parts and a more aggressive tire, like Z71 SUVs of yore.
