  1. Widespread
  2. ^ looks like it has a California plate, and it's on a hill, so I'm guessing it may be in San Francisco. One thing I've noticed--both in the reader photo section of Collectible Automobile--and in my own travels, San Francisco has an unusual variety of old cars parked on the streets in the residential neighborhoods, seemingly still being driven often. You don't see that in most cities...
  3. Hmmm, so Ocn, does this new infatuation mean the Compass will be short-lived in your life?
  4. Hmm...good point. I wonder if the hatch on my Jeep will open in my 1967 garage..the ceiling seems really low. (I haven't put in the garage yet because the garage is still full of boxes and stuff from my move). I know, I know..after 3+ months, I should have the garage empty by now, but I've been busy...running around exploring NE Ohio on the weekends, multiple remodeling projects going on lately..
  5. Walked out my front door and heard a car start up down the street, classic muscle car rumble...turned and looked to see a gorgeous black w/ red stripes '69 Mustang Mach 1 pulling away from the curb, pulling into a driveway, backing out then driving away...
  6. Maybe they will 3D print it...seems like an interesting fantasy...maybe they can cut a deal w/ Mattel, would make a nice Hot Wheels car in different scales.
  7. Trends come, trends go...floating roof seems so 2015...boring, boring, boring. What's next?
  8. Yeah, brain fart on the Audis...AWD, not RWD. The CLA is also in there, but FWD/AWD..not sure if I'd include the Stinger, since Kia is more a mainline brand than a 'premium' one.
  9. The compact 'premium' luxury market is getting quite crowded... Alfa Romeo Giiulia Cadillac ATS Infiniti Q50 Lexus IS Audi A3 and A4 BMW 3 series Mercedes C-class Jaguar XE Genesis G70
  10. My '84 Merc 500SEL was silver w/ blue leather..I love blue leather. Really like the new Conti interiors.
  11. Stinger has a 3 inch longer wheelbase and is heavier according to Wikipedia.
  12. Bentley doesn't need to go smaller, no point in competing with siblings Audi and Porsche..
  13. Yeah, all are sports.. I do love racing, haven't watched as much this year as in past years---buying the house and moving, multiple remodeling projects have really sucked up my time and energy. Looking forward to going to some races at Mid-Ohio and other regional tracks next year.
  14. I have Cox's 300MB service, great for working from home full time and streaming. Testing it, it's pretty consistently in 250-360mpbs range.
  15. I'm not a big baseball fan, but I'm enjoying the Indians current run. Oddly, I never paid much attention to the local teams when I lived in Arizona, but after moving back to my original region I'm cheering for the Cleveland teams...Indians, Cavs, Browns...wish we had a hockey team. About the only time I did follow hockey was when I lived in Colorado--followed the Avalanche for years. And still a Broncos fan after 20 years. Not sure how it applies to Mercedes vs Ferrari, but I've wandered off topic again.
  16. Kind of like how the Ford Ranger was it's last decade...
  17. Yes. Subscriptions are Netflix, Hulu, Acorn, and Sling TV.... already had Amazon Prime and Netflix. All together about $65 a month less than Cox TV was... it's not about money, though..don't want to futz with a cable or satellite service... total on the streaming is about $70/month for the all the services, Cox cable in Phoenix was about $150, with internet on top of that...
  18. I can't recall the last time I saw one..maybe it's because the styling hasn't changed in a long time that they blend in. I did see a few Titans out and about in Phoenix, knew someone that had one...but they are invisible here in NE Ohio.
  19. Ferrari's history in F1 is one of periods of dominance followed by fallow periods...boom or bust. Not necessarily applicable to the car market though. Mercedes current run in F1 is an interesting circumstance, considering they were out of the sport for 55 years before buying Brawn (a 1 year team with a long backstory of previous teams). I'd like to see Ferrari back to winning to F1 championships, as well as McLaren (my favorite team from the 80s-90s)---F1 is much more entertaining when one team doesn't dominate but multiple are competitive, IMO...
  20. I'm a few months into truly cord cutting, no cable or satellite since leaving Az in June. So far, so good. I have an Amazon Fire TV stick w/ Amazon, Hulu, Acorn, Netflix, Sling and network apps. About the only live TV I watch are NFL games and motorsports. Stream a lot of tv shows, mostly British crime like Unforgotten, Broadchurch, Hinterland, Endeavour (excellent Inspector Morse prequel) etc. For American, I've enjoyed catching up on Silicon Valley, Bosch and Better Call Saul.
  21. Actually, the Project One is more real than the C8 in one sense--nothing has publically been announced about the C8, no concept has been shown, so it's just vaporware at this point...
  22. A modern spin on the Golf Country would be fun to see...
  23. Audi is in there also with the SQ5, and the SQ7 is coming.. the performance SUV market is pretty crowded. GM needs something in the performance SUV space, an Escalade V-series and Tahoe and Suburban ZL1 versions would be interesting...and something from GMC.
  24. Well, they have the Golf Alltrack. Would be interesting to see the Alltrack spec on the 3dr and 5dr versions also.
  25. I really like what Volvo is doing.. love their interiors. Kind of like where Genesis is going also.
