    Still early for this technology, but it will be a necessary feature for self-driving cars. Tomorrow's drivers will want self-driving cars as driving is too distracting from texting, Facebooking, watching videos, etc.

    GM's problem is they sell far too many 3 ton pickups and SUVs that get poor mileage. Their product mix is skewed toward inefficient heavy trucks..

    Since this is the cargo version of the new NYC taxi, I wonder if we will see Chevy badged taxi versions eventually also.

    I'm sure they will slap a GMC badge on some of them to keep the GMC dealers happy. Though 'City Savanna' doesn't really work since a Savanna is a rural pairie or something like that..

    Orlando wouldn't have worked as a cargo van..it has conventional doors and low roof.

    The funny thing is that the small van that GM has in Europe for Opel/Vauxhall is a rebadged Fiat Doblo, which Ram will probably be getting a version of soon for a small van (they are getting the Fiat Ducato based Pro Master large van).

    Focus on a small set of niches and focus on quality product for those niches. Good strategy.

    Saw a black & red Ariel Atom in traffic this morning...first time I'd ever seen one on the road...what a cool car. Though I think it would be much more fun on a winding backroad than in 5 lanes of morning rush hour traffic.....also saw a white and gold Dodge Ramcharger, battered and worn but still on the road..one of the last sold in the US ('90-92 or so).

    That's for fleets, I would think. Still going to be some fleeted, I would think.

    Size and V6 availability...it's not as cramped as the weak 4cyl only Malibu. Sounds like it's priced comparable to the LaCrosse, Avalon, Maxima, Azera, Credenza, and Taurus which make up the full size FWD segment. I'd still rather have a Charger or 300, though

    A CUV is a poor substitute for a station wagon, though...too tall w/ the cargo area too short...too much like a minivan in drag.

    With a bit of restyling to the nose and tail, new interior, and an LS engine this could be to Corvette what the Panamera is to Porsche...

    Have they done anything to reduce the weight on the new trucks? Or are they still 3 tons?

    Noticed the '14 Impalas were in stock at the local Chevy store..they have 3 in front of the showroom--black, dark red, dark blue. Sharp.

    Hmm...almost 2 months since the first post in this thread...about time for the next new vehicle? Still a bit early for the '14 full size trucks..

    Great vid...liked the little details like the Cadillac script in the taillight lens. Noticed in the gauge cluster that the gear settings read PRDNM. M?

    I suspect this is intentional to limit volume to avoid upsetting the CAFE results and to avoid stealing sales from other models.

    Been there done that..didn't know that was an XJ problem also..was definitely a WJ problem. Though w/ the WJ it's bottom of the seat frame that breaks where the tracks are welded on. R
