2010 Pontiac G6 MCE Spotted W/O Camo
They would go out of business fast w/ him in there, I'm afraid.... trying to tool up to build 16cyl RWD BOF hardtops to sell for $10,000 would put the company in the red very fast...

No camo: CTS Coupe
White is not it's color, though..it think it look much better in dark colors, like the sedan does, IMHO...

OH OH!
So what's GMs answer to Sync?

Automotive News: Pontiac future products
Hmmm...3 brands with compact and midsize FWDs....Chevy, Pontiac, Saturn... and maybe Buick...and the differentiation being...? Sounds too much like the same old, same old.

Chevy Cruze Pics - Lordstown Plant
Interesting that they haven't shown any interior pics...saving it for the show debut, I suppose.

Hey Guys!
Welcome back to the funhouse.

Would be nice, but Cadillac probably only has 1/100th of Mercedes development budget... A hardtop with a rear and greenhouse like the last Eldorado would be great, but not going to happen. (I thought the last Eldo would have made a great hardtop...)

Agreed...I think most of us that are living in <reality> appreciate modern features in a car...HVAC, AM/FM/CD/iPod integration, power everything, heated seats, 4 wheel disc brakes w/ ABS, safety features, etc. I want all the goodies. I appreciate the oldies also..fun to look at at car shows, but certainly not something I'd want to deal with everyday...

Cadillac 4cyl sedan in '10
I can see a market for a modern, 4 cyl Caddy..Audi has such models, and Merc, BMW, Lexus have them, at least outside of the US...

It's almost a hatchback like shape, but with a trunk. The shape almost reminds me of a modern interpretation of the wierd '78-80 Olds and Buick A-body coupes.

Here you go Dodgefan....
Yea...that was in the '80s.... didn't see anything that fit the old 'Keys Cruiser' standards when I was down there last month. Because of the salt air and humidity, cars rusted as bad in the Keys as they did in the Rust Belt.

OH OH!
Who knows? It's not BOF, not a hardtop, doesn't have a pushrod V8 and a carb... 68 will never accept the modern world, I'm afraid..best to just ignore his sad, delusionary rants...

I'm a tech nut, I'll admit it...working in the computer software industry, I'm always interested in the Next Big Thing...the next cool gadget...and naturally, that extends to cars as well...always looking forward. The past is gone, no point in dwell on or in it..

Duh: Cadillac shelves that whole V12 thing
Never said I hated them...it's just the market has moved on....OHC is a necessity for premium cars in the market, perception or not..

Cadillac 4cyl sedan in '10
Could this be the rumoured Alpha? Hard to believe GM would commit to a small RWD model... Autoweek Article

2010 Pontiac G6 MCE Spotted W/O Camo
I always wondered why they did the Tempest for Canada--seems like it overlapped with the Grand Am in the generic sedan segment...

Duh: Cadillac shelves that whole V12 thing
??? How is something from 77 years ago remotely relevant in 2008???? You have to stop the dreaming and wake up to reality...

6th gen Camaro powerplant roundup...
Yeah...check back in 4-5 years.

Interested custom taillight treatment.. I see the wierd doorhandles are still there... that was the one detail on the concept I didn't like.

OH OH!
That's a feature I'd definitely want...I have a Western Digital Passport hdd that I back up my iTunes to... it's strange, Sync is still not available on the Mustang....I wonder why.

The Song Does Not Remain the Same
I think the poor gas mileage is going to hurt them in these times though....5 years ago, they might have done great...now, not so much.

Duh: Cadillac shelves that whole V12 thing
That's too negative... unfortunately, it is what it is...I can't go back and live when I was born in 1970...have to live for today and the future.

As gas prices recede, so do fuel efficiency concerns
They are cheap...about $25, every two years. And both of these states do their registration based on a percentage of value...AZ seems higher % than CO, my Jeep was $150 last year in Denver, about $220 this year in Phoenix. The first year I registered my (2000) it was $550 in CO IIRC. Some states, like Ohio, do flat rate registrations, IIRC.
