  1. Expanding ethanol will cause a bit of a problem because, unlike oil, it cannot be shipped via pipe. Ethanol has to be moved via truck or train, so getting more of it around the country is going to bring a new set of challenges. I really doubt ethanol is going to be the long term alternative. And if thats the way other people (GM, those in D.C.) think, then they aren't going to go any more out of the way for a stopgap technology.
  2. f@#k you, cocksucker.
  3. Pre-1998 facelift Police Interceptor, still on patrol duty. That thing has to have half a million miles on it by now.
  4. Mini Cooper S....what the hell, with an LS7 God, just imagine.....
  5. Thats actually pretty hot. Cant wait to see the production version.
  6. The CLK starts around $46k, the 3er Coupe from about $35k, the 6er from $75k and the A5 (does anybody remember thats coming out soon?) starts just under $40k according to Edmunds. Would anyone pick ANY of those over a production version of the CTS Coupe? I like the A5 a lot, and I love the 6er, but I could never see myself picking either of those over the CTS Coupe, b-pillar or no b-pillar.
  7. That car is hot. The production version (with b-pillar) will be hot as well. Just ditch the yellow seats (WTF were they thinking?) and it'll be fine. A side note, GM isn't in business to produce cars for people who will never be able to afford them. Its just not practical. There is nobody sitting in a room right now thinking, "Gee, this new Cadillac I am working on really needs to be exactly what a 26 year old who makes $19,000/year really wants to buy!" Keep in mind, the last time he bought a car for more than $800, it was an Infiniti, so GM isn't hurting at all. I just noticed. its called the CTS Coupe, why not CTC? Either way, its a winner, the only crappy part is that, in typical GM fashion, it'll be a while before they have a production version in showrooms.
  8. It looks like a Mazda MPV. You would think that I would have noticed that by now, but since I've seen like two Caravans, I hadn't really made the connection.

My ex's sister has a Bull Masitff and a Pug. I want them to breed, that would be hella awkward to watch.
  10. God you whine a lot. Just because not everybody has the same views on cars that you have doesn't mean you need to start a f@#king diatribe in every thread where someone says they like a car.
  11. Sell it and buy this, its based on a Fiero.
  12. Damn right bitch, go make me my money!
  13. If you dont buy it, I will. It will give me a reason to wear that purple velvet hat I bought the other day.
  14. Who is holding a grudge, I'm just pointing out that you made a statement that isn't factual.
  15. One is highway, one is city, not the same thing at all. If you had said the Tahoe Hybrid gets the same mileage as anMB E350 (actually the Tahoe does better) or something that it does get similar mileage to, thats fine, but taking the low rating on one and the high on another is bunk.
  16. I'm still waiting for the Bass Pro/Toyota NASCAR entry, that will be the epitome of all that is wrong in the world. As long as I can make my $ I dont care.
  17. 22/31 for a Camry V6 21/22 for a RWD Tahoe Not exactly the same there.
  18. Other than the insane number of buttons (almost as bad as the MDX) the interior doesn't look bad at all. The exterior just needs some less odd headlights.
  19. Still looks dumb.
  20. I like the 2-tone leather, but thats about it.
  21. I'm hoping to find a way to import a Fiat 500 if they dont come here legally.
  22. The funny part is that I dont get any sort of price break on a new Toyota, in fact all I get is $500 off invoice on a new Chevy or $250 off a used vehicle, only good at one dealership, the one I wouldn't shop at no matter what.
  23. Chevy Aveo Chevy Aveo Z18 Chevy Aveo SS Chevy Aveo ZR-1
  24. When are some pics going to leak of the production convertible? Thats the one I'd be interested in, although by the time I get through law school the 5th gen will probably be discontinued due to poor sales stemming from the b-pillars.
  25. C&D invites new or substantially upgraded cars (and trucks for its 5-best trucks) as well as previous year's winners. Thats why the C5 was on their 10-best list every year. MT's TotY is interesting because there are only 5 real trucks out there (Silvy/Sierra/HDs/Avalanche, F-Series,Ram,Titan,Tundra) plus the midsizers (Colorado/Canyon, Ranger, Tacoma, Dakota, Frontier) plus the Accordvalanche, which hardly seems to count. Any given year only a couple of those are going to be all-new or significantly changed, so they have slim pickings.
