Spy Photos you never got to see
Is the zebra tape on the HHR for the same reason as the zebra camo on the sides of the car? Is its grille taped on?

C&G Idol
The first guy with the pit stains? I could only watch the first hour because "Commander In Chief" was on at 9PM and it was the second of a 2-part episode. I thought the white girl who rap/sung was pretty good but the judges thought she was an idiot because when they told her to sing she froze and couldn't think of a song. Poor girl... Edit: spelling.

Pictures!
Looking good, I'll admit. Nice lips, too. You're right BV, that is a big camera, but I thought we were cutting out all the sexual innuedo? Anyway, both of us might have to help CD out with that.

How rough do you treat your baby?
When I'm in a bad mood I'll drive rough but other than that Sci gets treated normally. I don't baby it, haven't cleaned it in awhile, no mods.

reflections on Brokeback Mountain
Didn't Mean Girls come out in 2005? I liked that movie. Honestly, I'm not really a movie person, especially when it comes to spending hundreds of dollars going out to a theater. A movie either has to look pretty good or a group of friends invited me to go along with them for a night out in order for me to see a movie in a theater. Otherwise, I'll probably never see them. My favorite movie is "Titanic." Sure it might be easy to laugh but it has everything I think a good movie should have: action, drama, comedy, love and Kate Winslet's breasts.

Chevrolet SSR
What a shame. I love the SSR and wouldn't think twice about getting one if I had the money. Too bad GM botched the launch with a rediculous price and not enough power. I think they'll be popular 50 years from now.

Bag it or Build it?
I said "bag it" to all but the Camaro and the Aston Martin.

I doubt Wyoming has that many hot cars to begin with.

What if...
I chose "Other" because I'd buy from any company if one of their cars appeal to me.

Saab loses $300 million in 2005, report says
If it was up to me I'd get rid of it, sell it back to the Swedes. At the least, I'd focus Saab to be competitive in Europe and stop stelling them in the U.S.

Do you have the balls to post a little file?

Bottled Water vs. Tap Water
I usually drink Brita water but I'll drink bottled if it isn't available. I'm not a huge fan of tap water because it usually smells or tastes like chlorine. The weird thing is, the tap in my bathroom doesn't have the smell or taste of normal tap water, at least to me, and it's oh-so-cold at night in the winter so it's great to get a drink after using the potty at 2AM.

reflections on Brokeback Mountain
King Kong was/is a bomb. Sorry but I consider any movie/tv award show to be tied in with Hollywood. I wasn't surprised the foreign press gave it an award and I won't be surprised if the Academy does, too. I feel that all the glowing reviews the movie has received are solely related to its theme of homosexuality. I highly doubt if it was a heterosexual love story it would have gotten the same reviews and award nominations/wins. That annoys me because then I believe Hollywood is just advancing/pushing its views. If it is only in 683 theaters and making money than one can deduce that the same people are going to see it again and again. I don't have any comment on whether it is a good/bad movie because I have not seen it. Sure it's making money but I guess I just expected it to be bigger after all the hype. Edit: I consider King Kong to be somewhat of a bomb because of all the hype surrounding its release and then the sound of crickets chirping afterwards. All of these remakes and sequels are annoying, too. I give BM credit for actually being a movie, not just another rehash.

2007 Dodge STR8 Super Bee
Those rims are hot, though. I also like the rear end with the black between the taillights.

Spoke w/Chevy Guy at LA Auto Show - Disturbing!
I can't even imagine what would happen if GM actually put out a FWD Camaro. I really hope it's not true but you never know with GM. We all know how good its marketing is!

reflections on Brokeback Mountain
Of course it had to win 4 Golden Globes. Not that there's anything wrong with that but it's just Hollywood trying to appease the many people who won't see this movie for whatever reasons. After all the hype I think it bombed.

Roll Call
Sci = Scion, guy = me and 0504 = the month and year I got my xB.

Chevrolet CAPTIVA
The front end is nice but the rear is bland. It really needs the bigger wheels to look aggressive.

What is the last five drink you just had?
1) Diet Sprite 2) Brita water 3) Crystal Light iced tea 4) Orange juice 5) Virgin strawberry dacari (I'm so cool!)

I think, after a period of time, Europeans will rise up against this continent-wide quasi-government.

2006 NAIAS: 2007 Nissan Sentra
sciguy_0504 replied to !!!TED!!!'s topic in North American International Auto Show in Detroit (NAIAS)It's proportioned like that to maximize interior space. I think the plood isn't that bad. It's better than a strip of pletal or bland plastic. The exterior's not bad, either. Nissan could have given it a look of its own (my preference) but it flows nicely into the existing lineup.

Official Chrysler Aspen Official Pictures
GTO... I'll admit the GTO is the same damn car as the Cavalier if someone buys it for me. Edit: I agree, Mustang. DCX seems to be losing it.

There's no need for a Buick minivan w/the Enclave
The full-length console should definately be an option or part of a luxury package. It's hot and fits Buick's image.

Detroit: Heal Thy Self
The Main Line...yep, I forgot about that.
