  1. I really hope I didn't suggest all of those places in Wyoming. Most of the towns, listed don't have anything too special other than the fact that there are hotels, and many of the mountain passes and scenic byways end up in them. I suppose Cheyenne has the capitol, Laramie has the university. Green River doesn't have much of anything...but if you like small town charm, you could check out Saratoga, and Thermopolis has (I believe) the worlds largest natural hot springs. Everything else sounds pretty good as long as you like the outdoors. If you were to stop and check out Vedauwoo, you should also check out the Pole Mountain area (they're pretty much the same thing). Ames monument is also near there if you want to see a random pyramid built in the middle of nowhere...

    Idea #2

I'm not sure exactly what your needs/wants are in the car, but out of all the suggestions/ideas so far, I would take the Maxx...they reallly are a very nice car for the money...and that extra cargo space is great!
  3. I think this car is really beautiful. I've always been a fan of SAABs, but I really can't wait to see where they go from here. Too bad GM had to get rid of them right before this and the 9-4x came out...I really think between the two SAAB could really turn around...
  4. I saw one of these in black a couple weeks ago while I was still living in KC. It was driving towards me and looked absolutely stunning in motion...
  5. I think anyone that says no should probably be hit upside the head with a 2x4, but the question is can anyone afford it right now...
  6. I think my redneck is showing, but I would be all over that like white on rice! ha ha...
  7. I've been having the "keep my Jeep and get something else or get another Jeep" debate with myself for a while now, but I'm still about a year out...so, it might just be going towards a 2011 as well...I really like everything about the '11 Grand Cherokee.
  8. So, apparently I'm a little late, but thanks everyone!
  9. I honestly believe there should not be a CX model of this car. The wheel covers look horendous. Also, I think that the radio display looks terrible. They should have put a color display there whether or not it has GPS. The G8 has two different display options that are nicer than that, and it doesn't even offer nav... And I never noticed the hidden exhaust before...not a deal breaker by any means, but it looked nicer with the integrated exhaust
  10. Very Impressive! I can't wait to see real photos, and the interior!
  11. All the GM websites do that to me...
  12. Probably something cliche, but I would love to own a '67 GTO...something about that year just makes me drool uncontrollably...
  13. I have to say, I am overjoyed that they lost...I really don't like the Redwings at all...
  14. I learned to drive in an F150 from the year I was born...1988. I started driving when I was probably 6, and when I was 13 my parents helped me buy a Sunfire. I drove that (illegally) until I took my test in it. Never took driver's ed...
  15. Last night as I was headed out to the clubs, I passed first a white Challenger SRT-8, then a blue 2010 Mustang GT, and finally a red Camaro! It was totally surreal to see all three of them driving down the interstate within a couple mile stretch of eachother... They are real beautiful cars!
  16. My Sunfire's untimely death occured during a head on collision with an F350 while traveling at about 35 MPH and then ricocheting into a telephone pole. The only physical injuries I had was a split in my forehead where the airbag hit me...For as much $h! as people gave the J-bodies, they were great little cars in that regard at the very least.
  17. I saw a Silverado with a first gen Escalade front end on it as I moved to KC yesterday...not a pretty sight at all...
  18. I really would like to know which ones GM is closing too. Chrysler killed 5 in Wyoming, including the Jeep dealership I go to here in Laramie. The other four are Jackson, Riverton, Rock Springs, and Torrington. I wonder how many GM will close, because around here there are a ton of little family operations in the small towns. And, almost everything here is two hours or more to a decent sized place where some dealerships might survive.
  19. Here in the US it is kinda like St. Patty's. A big celebration just for the sake of Mexican heritage, but it isn't even an actual holiday in Mexico...
  20. It's actually a commemoration of the Battle of Puebla. More of a celebration here in the states than it is in Mexico. I didn't even celebrate and I'm part Mexican. Could be because it's finals week though
  21. I think if it had more Buick styling and less Opel styling, the sedan and wagon would do great here! High teens to mid 20's and it would compete great with the Jetta, which is what many compact buyers consider the premium option. Not sure about the 3 or 5 door as a Buick, but you never know. I suppose they have to sell something to fill up the BG dealerships.
  22. yeah, one near here is BPG-Honda-Saturn. Wonder how long it will take to be BGH. or just H. you never know. Local one will be Chevy-BG-Cadillac in no time at all I'm sure. Too bad they just spent a bunch of money doing a new entrance for each sales channel and displays for each brand.
  23. I have to say I agree with both sides here. I want to stay a fan and supporter of the American industry, but GM really has nothing for me to care about. I think some of their products are cool, but I wouldn't buy them. Pontiac is the company that began my love affair with the car, and I feel like GM is killing that love affair by killing Pontiac. Personally, I still have a huge soft spot for the industry, and I love Jeep, and hope for their sake Chrysler can pull through this and be the rebellious, fun company that I believe so many of us have believed Pontiac was/is/could have been again. Maybe some day GM can earn my respect and money again, but right now I just don't see it happening.
  24. I must say I'm very impressed. I've never been impressed by a minivan before... If Buick can make even a minivan I like, then I guess they are really important to the GM strategy, but I still think Pontiac and GMC should stick around...
  25. I think there are alot of us that would like to stand for things like that. I'm only 20 and I feel the same way you do. I'm glad my parents raised me to care about the important things in life and not all the useless bull$h! that society calls important. That makes you sound just as ignorant as the stereotypes of republicans and religious people. Just my opinion though...
