Opel Insignia unceremoniously revealed a week early
I was really hoping GM could score Alfa when they were in the whole Fiat mess. Then they could dump that $h!ty swedish baggage, umm, what was it's name again? Oh yeah, SAAB! And concentrate on a brand worth developing.

It's a lot like the Camry, except the Camry looks BETTER The Camry (T-Face, or whatever the hell they call it) has a certain strength in it's look that this car lacks. I guess so, if you're into disproportionately large greenhouse design. I don't know why all of the import people think a car like this is so attractive. Why must our 'products' look as if they're mass produced and BLAND in order to be considered competent and "classy" Shouldn't a much more crafted and individualistic look convey class and sophistication much more than say, a dime a dozen Wal-Mart Accord? Am I missing something?- Opel Insignia unceremoniously revealed a week early
What a hideous car... The rear looks like my dog when he's squating to fertilize the grass, the side is a direct rip off of the Holden Coupe 60 and the nose is an even more direct rip off of the Malibu. What has happened to Opel? Their designs used to convey sportiness and class all the same. The interiors used to be beautiful. Now we get this thing that looks like a Korean monstrosity with a cheap "black tie" interior. (I know it isn't, but it sure as hell tries hard to look like black tie) If this is the future of GM, count me out.- 2009 XLR with no camo
I'm all for side vents on LUXURY cars and SPORTS cars. BUT, the key is to integrate the design into the car instead of tacking it on like GM has donw with the STS and XLR. It's a shame... Both of these cars (STS & XLR) were pretty attractive pieces when they came out. Now they're just gawdy. GM, either put some effort into it, or leave it the hell alone- C7, Evolution or Revolution?
Not really... If content sold cars, GM would still have 50% of the market. Just my opinion...- Chevy Malibu could be exported to Brazil
Funny that no names were dropped there. As far as the politics... Dems, Reps... They're all the same and they've all helped to detroy our country.- Merc concept still available...
Wow! Why doesn't Ford snatch it up? And who in there right mind would let it deteriorate that badly?- Quite Possibly
Looks like someone tried to update a perfectly good looking Firebird with final generation Sunfire bumpers. Poor car...- LA Times' Dan Neil bumped from NBC Gear
Well, it would've sucked worse with Dan Neil.- Food Lion Auto Fair Pics
Yeah.. I almost went this year, even drove by on my way to work. But I didn't feel like getting out in the rain. Not to mention, Relay For Life was going on the next weekend and I was extremely busy.- How to be politically Correct
My favorite... Partially because I'm a white guy and I can't dance to save my life.- Pontiac Ponders G8 GXP Coupe
Either you're very young or very new to the hobby. Infiniti was a JOKE not 5 years ago and the brand still isn't making BMW or Lexus sweat any. The same things could've been said (and were in the more knowledgable media) about Infiniti back then that are being said about Pontiac now. Yet people seem to think that doemstic brands somehow cannot regenerate themselves and must be destroyed. This is despite the obvious successes from all 3 companies throughout the last decade. And it doesn't factor in the emotional connection that Pontiac already has with the consumer that Infiniti doesn't. Even die hard Pontiac haters acknowledge the 'glory days' of GTO muscle cars. Like it or not, there is some good feeling left there but it's fading fast. 10K G8 coupes is a drop in the bucket, especially if GM can make some serious $$$ on the same design by selling it through Holden, Vauxhall and Pontiac.- Pontiac Ponders G8 GXP Coupe
Because most purchases, especially in capitalist america, are driven by emotion instead of logic. I wouldn't mind buying a Pontiac coupe at all because I would buy the car for reasons other than the investment. Every new car depreciates and every new car is a horrible waste of money if you look at it that way. If I wanted an 'investment' I'd buy a classic (which is one reason I own 2 classics )- 2009 Pontiac Official Changes
I'll take a G8 in Maverick Silver.- 2009 Cadillac Official Changes
LOL @ "Flannel Gray" on the "Top Cadillac" And BTW, what's up with the 6.2L switching? I haven't been around a lot lately, did I miss something?- 2009 Buick Official Changes
Way to promote an image of luxury GM! (sarcasm) Especially on the eve of the all new model.- What Are You Listening To?

Holy crap! I am very tempted to pick that up.. It'd be a long time before I could restore it (and do it justice) though.- So, smoking
Same thing here... My grandma has been smoking for a long time, and is a very healthy 80. She still has clear lungs and still does a lot of physical activity. I guess she's lucky but I certainly hope I inherited those genes.- So, smoking
Only the finest crack this side of Charlotte... J/K I've never smoked anything at all. My dad smoked around me for years and I hated every minute of it. My allergies and sinuses are so bad that being in a bar or smoke filled room for an hour makes me pay the entire next day. I do still frequent bars though...- What Are You Listening To?
"Trust" - Megadeth "Peace Sells" - Megadeth- '07 Tundras RUSTING already!
This is OBVIOUSLY the fault of the owners for not thinking positively enough about their purchase and not having the intelligence to maintain a 'good 'ole boy's' steed. Toyota is never at fault for anything ever.... Remember?- Early look: 2010 Cadillac CTS Wagon illustrated
... and speaking of Saab.... Geez, save the Saab taillights for the Saab vehicles. - Opel Insignia unceremoniously revealed a week early
