  1. I teach students how to use the lighting equipment for the school plays. According to Wikipedia, a bastard is: In theatre lighting, a bastard color refers to a color, typically in a color gel, wherein the predominant color is blended with small amounts of complementary colors; for example, a "bastard orange" gel would produce predominantly orange light with undertones of blue. Bastard colors appear warmer, more neutral, and more natural than pure colors and are used to replicate natural light.
  2. Today I learned what a bastard is.
  3. Our janitors just do a crappy job. We're losing some next year (along with teachers and secretaries).
  4. Wait... it says 2010 Regal. I thought the Regal was going to be a 2011?
  5. Well one thing I've noticed is that when I am in their cars, the a/c is never nearly as cold as mine. It doesn't have that same "frigid" feeling, even if I turn it down to 60.
  6. Need to just quote it because it's SO true. Anytime I invite a teacher into my car, whether it be dead of winter or late June during final's week, they ALWAYS comment on how hot the heat gets or how icy the a/c is. I still can't believe after 15 years it still gets that cold.
  7. I love the episode where a kid wrote in and asked them to blow up his parents' car. Turned out to be an old Camry. It was so cool, in slow motion you could see the shock wave.
  8. That interior is HOT as hell!
  9. Who said the Lucerne is gone for 2010?

  12. Isn't Toyota an American company? Why not ask the US gov't to float them a loan. :AH-HA_wink:
  13. Those are the rare days I teach my entire lesson from the window and don't check the homework. What did I learn today? That even though I'm not allergic to all the active ingredients in Excedrin, I'm allergic to Excedrin.
  14. Yeah, well, considering it's been designed for now, but still won't come out for another year, yes.
  15. Don't forget, they'd have to incorporate the phrase "first ever" somewhere in there.
  16. Weird. My mother is 66 and still has no gray hair. I'm 32 and I'm starting to get a few gray chest hairs.
  17. I hate when my students hear from someone that it means FU and they show up to class all proud they know it. And I have to convince them, "First of all, you're wrong. Secondly, say it once and you'll be in detention for a week." Go F yourself up the A. That's the closest meaning to it. But it has a really vicious tone behind it.
  18. over here they're pink DTSs Pink
  19. I feel I've lost one of my closest friends to Twitter, Facebook, and his Blackberry. Sure, I can easily interact through him there, but in real life, it's becoming more difficult.
  20. Wow... totally forgot about the 850... I used to LOVE them.

Beer has a lot of calories. It's called getting fat. :AH-HA_wink: Moving on then... I have to say, I'm a bit of a boob man myself. I have insomnia, and honestly (and my friends used to love this line), "Back in the days when I was straight" (before I came out), I loved sleeping on double D's. C's are alright too, but anything smaller wasn't a good nap. Yeah, how no one guessed I was gay is beyond me.
  22. Yup, and Mazda and Audi have red gauges too

    In Z-formation. :AH-HA_wink:
  24. Haha, Drew, you would LOVE me as a tenant... when I went to leave my old place and they did the walkthrough to see if I left things in good order, the guy said, "Wait, did you even live here?! My GOD, other than a coat of paint, I have to do NOTHING. It's IMMACULATE." I'm a neat freak, what can I say.
