    Hybrid day.... saw an Oldsmobuick this morning.....an '80s Ciera (white) wearing a Century front clip (blue). Also saw the Thundercat again (red '85-86 Cougar w/ black '87-88 T-Bird turbo coupe front clip).

    Nice..looks like most of the panels (except for maybe the cab and doors) are 'butched' up compared to the Asian Colorado..new dash also.

    Nope, that's a real special edition Wrangler that just recently debuted. Neat...so is it a 'Willis' or a 'Willies' ? (I've pronounced it as 'Willies' but it's apparently 'WIllis')

    Sounds like you've been reading the propaganda put out by the corrupt energy companies. I've read of a ton of fracking complaints from the last 10 years....20 years ago very few had even heard of it. Nothing wrong with normal NG wells, though..my folks have used it in Ohio for 40 years (have a well on the property).

    Well, the original lasted 41 years. Not sure where you get 18 years..the '14 is the 3rd redo since '01 (13 years).

    From what I can tell, the 2.4 is from an engine family that predates the Fiat acquisition.. MultiAir is sort of Fiat's VTEC ...variable valve timing and variable lift technology..http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/MultiAir

    That is a detail I'd like to see return also. The badge in the grille is just so ordinary. Standup hood ornaments are cool and distinctive.

    Yes...if it was a 4cyl, fwd automatic for $25k GM might go for it...but as it is, it's too much of a small niche gamble...

    I do think the new CTS front end would look better w/ the badge centered ala the ATS and previous CTS generation...the emblem is too large and too high up on the grille, IMO.

    As far as the only BMW 4dr coupe so far, the 6 series GT looks quite good, IMO. The Gran Turismo hatches are different beasts, not 4 dr coupes.
