Chrysler Sebring Sedan Purchase
My car insurance is still about $850 a year for full coverage. I'm looking forward to seeing 100,000 on the odometer (have almost 94k now). My plan is that by the time I hit the 10th anniversary of having the Jeep (June 2010) to have a new daily driver, and then keep the Jeep as a winter car. Pay on a new car for 5 years, use it as a daily driver payment free for another 5 years, then hopefully get 10 more years as a 2nd/3rd car.

Chrysler Sebring Sedan Purchase
I hear you...I drove a buddy's new G37 coupe w/ 6spd manual a few months ago (didn't grope the dash), but my 195hp, 4500lb Jeep felt like a turd when I got back into it... but it's a paid for turd, so that's ok. I keep thinking wait a year or so, enjoy a few years w/o a car payment.

See Map: Interesting... I like this map, showing the proposed 'United States of Canada' in blue and 'Jesusland' in red.. Here is the flag for Jesusland, which I'm sure the right wingers would love:

2009 Honda Fit
I agree...I've loved cars since I was a little kid playing with Matchbox and Hot Wheels on the carpet, chewing on the tires.. got my first car mag subscriptions at age 7 to Car & Driver and Road & Track. I like a lot of different types of cars...which is probably why I won't replace my Jeep with another Jeep necessarily or my BMW with another...variety is the spice of life... same with food. I have my two Mustangs--one I've had 21 years, I've always liked Mustangs...I'll probably have another within the next 5 years- I want a V8 convertible w/ a manual, so probably an '05-09 GT or the next gen. Though the new Camaro beckons also. I've thought about a new CTS for my next daily driver, but the diesel Jetta is also appealing..I love diesels--had a diesel Escort as a teenager and in college. But I also find the G8 as well as modern-yet-old-school cars like the Grand Marquis and Town Car very appealing. Not that I ever wanted to be a cop, but the thought of having a black CV PI with the push bars, spotlights, and black wheels is very appealing (maybe I've watched too many crime dramas over the years..) And I definitely want a '70s land yacht eventually for a weekend toy. The Grand National was an icon of my teenage years, I'd love to have one to go w/ my '87 Mustang GT, and an '87 IROC Z in yellow or that blue that was so popular back in the day. I'm 38 now, plan to buy one new car and probably one late model used car by the time I'm 40, and probably keep the Jeep and Mustangs...hopefully, at some point, all in the same place rather than 2500 miles apart.

Not the way it should have gone....
Wierd...why would you be responsible? Did the buyer not register it in his name?

Suzuki Kizashi sketches leaked from a Euro patents & registry office
What's the deal with the patents and registry office...a car maker can patent the design of a generic FWD sedan??

Good idea, but I doubt if she reads much beyond a Bible and Guns and Ammo magazine..

Texas was once a country...I really wouldn't care if they seceded...they can take the Deep South with them..

The Latest Fall Fashions
Saw an interesting variety of cars yesterday...2 '08 CTSes--dark gray and pearl white, 2 '08 Malibus that did not appear to be rentals (good news!), a new Mazda 6 in black (didn't realize they were out yet--pretty sharp), a red late model Lotus Esprit, a faded red '70s Lancia Beta coupe (haven't seen anything like that in ages).

My tater is limp!
I wimped out and went to Jack in the Box..not the best fries, but close to home. Nice evening...cool out, only 80--first time since mid May I've driven w/ the windows down and the A/C off (drove the '91 300CE with the sunroof open, all the windows down, The Verve's Forth in the CD player..nice evening. Saw a pearl white CTS... there was a Nissan Versa ahead of me in the drive thru, and a black Merc G 55 AMG behind me. I'll be happy to go back to work Monday...the last 6 weeks has been killer on my waistline, too much sitting on my duff surfing the web.

Well, I thought perhaps once you become a father you would become more rational and move into the 21st century and get a minivan or a Camry.. (J/K :)

Mmm...getting a craving for good fries....smothered in Cheez-Wiz. Or some nice thick steak fries ('chips'). Maybe I'll buzz over the Irish pub for some fish & chips and pint.

Billboard Hot 100 All-Time Top Songs
Yeah...it's # of weeks on the charts. Not a measurement of quality but of popularity. Turns out I have 17 of the 100 on my iPod, mostly old Beatles songs
