I opened this thread knowing someone was going to post Phoenix Yellow... A lot of people hate on Phoenix Yellow. I for one love that color...the same goes for Laguna Seca Blue which a lot of people also seem to hate on as well...

Tonight was just another lame friday night for me...atleast I kind of had something to do though...I turned on my car today only to be confronted with an error message to check my side lights (which would mean my turn signals, and due to my custom wiring harness for my new headlights, the angel eyes as well). I popped the hood and as it turns out there were little footprints in the engine bay along with part of the original BMW wiring harness chewed all the way through...I guess being that my car stays very warm for a long time, some bastard mice decided they wanted to camp out in there, and while they were in there they chewed my wiring harness...So I spent an hour or so ripping out my headlights and re-soldering some connections and b.s. like that...Oh, I also laid some traps... :AH-HA_wink:

Toyota Camry

There are a lot of features on my car that I love...a lot I have still yet to discover as well...I really like the automatic windows. Just one touch of the switch and it goes down, on all 4 points, not just driver's side which is convenient when rolling up and down all the windows or for passengers as well. The sun/moon roof is automatic as well...I dig it. My memory sport seats with the electric leg extensions and heaters are also nice. Then of course there is the auto-climate control,and the auto dimming mirrors which help a lot (in conjunction with my limo tint all around). When I stick the car in reverse, the right mirror can be switched so that it tilts downward for checking curb proximity and parallel parking I assume...I don't know what I would do without my steering wheel controls either. The 6 disk changer and speed sensing volume is also a nice touch. All the OBC functions are helpful and some other features that are pretty cool are the auto vent/rest features where you can set the car to have the vent turn on during the summer to have cool air circulate throughout the cabin for a set amount of time, or you can have warm air circulate during the winter after the car is turned off. Oh, when the car is shut off the steering wheel moves all the way back up to allow for easy exit/entry which is kinda nice (though, when first learning how to drive a stick in my dad's manual 5er it was kind of annoying whenever I stalled). The auto leveling xenon lgihts (with angel eyes! bling bling!) are also pretty cool. This a LSD and better cup holders...e39 cup holders blow!

My dad has dealt with Boyd in person before and has said to me on many previous occasions when watching the show that Boyd is indeed a dick.

Worst town I have ever had the displeasure to stay in for one night while on a trip up to Lake Almanor...It's like one of those creepy towns horror movies are filmed at. It was such a small town and I just got a creepy vibe from it...You'd never know there was a University there (I didn't even see it). I just didn't trust the place. I stayed up during the night and kept watch on our cars and all our stuff to make sure no funny $h! went down...

Generally, the tachs in performance cars are emphasized being that when racing you aren't necessarily paying attention to how fast you're going, but how fast your engine is going...I've seen several other performance makes who do this, or if anything, the tach is usually equal/the same size as the speedo. God I hate the 996 interior...thank god the 997 is far more improved.

I agree, I guess I kinda wasn't thinking about my statement when I said it. I'll be the first to defend when it comes to criticizing cars over displacement, but sometimes I feel they just aren't trying hard enough to make the power. I understand the engine is made to be reliable and durable and able to take abuse, I just feel they could get more out of it while still maintaining that reliability, and bumping up the displacement seems almost like a half-assed attempt to do so. Or better yet, instead of the 5 cylinder, why not just throw the I6 into it? I know the idea has been tossed around here quite a bit, but it just seems like a better option.

I think it's a jdm thing....I dunno, my buddy's accord has a hood prop, and my other buddy's wrx also has a hood prop. The GM trucks/SUV's we've owned though have all had gas struts (and of course, our BMW's do as well).
