  1. I use the apple crystal screen protector or whatever it is called. I've had it on for well over a year and a half now and it has been perfect. It looks great (looks like there is nothing there) and the friction on it is very good and comparable to having no screen protector at all.
  2. My computer is way old now. My recently purchased laptop outperforms it in every way (except my computer still has a nice sound card and speakers.) My Laptop is a Thinkpad W500 Windows 7 ultimate 64 bit Core 2 duo T9900 3.06ghz 4gb ddr3 RAM 320gb 7200rpm hdd ATI FireGL 5700
  3. I use Mobil 1 in the bimmer and it has been great...speaking of which, I think I am well overdue for an oil change...been kind of neglecting that lately. As a side note I use Motul in the bike...not that it really applies here. RP is good, but as most have been saying, it probably doesn't offer any benefit over Mobil 1, and it will cost you more. As DF mentioned, just drain your oil pretty well. Let a drip pan sit underneath of the car for a while until you see it stop dripping, then just continue on with the oil change, and fill it with the synthetic. You don't have to worry about it too much. There isn't any science or technique or anything to watch out for or be cautious of. Whatever dino oil was left in there will be gone the next time you change your oil. If you wanted to be sure it is clean (and do a favor for your engine at the same time) you could always just throw some seafoam in there.
  4. I thought I remembered "viridian" from somewhere...
  5. When you get around to it (I'd imagine it is a low priority at the moment), some Forever Black on that trim will make it like new. That stuff works like a charm.

    My Name is Ram

Te majority seem to give this commercial a hard time, but I actually like it.
  7. V8 6-speed manual RWD. But seriously, 6-speed manual (option) HID headlights (option) fog lights (standard) LED taillights/turn signals (standard) non-steel wheels (standard) Leather appointments (standard on nearly everything but some of the cheapest chevy models and work trucks - this means no Buick with cloth) Real materials - not imitations. If it is supposed to look like wood make it wood. Brushed aluminum? Don't give me some painted piece of chintzy plastic. Give every car the option for nav. Power everything, including auto up/down windows. My 10 year old BMW based on an even older design has these for every window. It is easily one of my favorite features. There is no reason it shouldn't be implemented further in this day and age.
  8. Sadly, I've nearly pulled the same stunt in my car. Had to change a tire, so I got out the jack and place it underneath the jack point...or at least I could've sworn it was underneath the jack point(BMW jack points, for my e39 anyway, are molded into the rocker panel)...Started jacking and it started going up fine, then the jack shot out from underneath the car, dropping the car to the ground, and leaving a nice deformation on the underside of the rocker panel. Not noticeable unless you get underneath it, but it was a stupid situation with a crummy outcome (that could've ended much worse) that I learned a lesson from.
  9. GT5 is definitively coming early next year. Well...until it gets pushed out again I suppose.
  10. Looking to get a 360, if anything for this game. I have a PS3, but GT5 won't be out until around 2056.
  11. He has also been trained at Skip Barber if I read correctly. That's some money. I'd be interested to know what he does at his age to afford that (I know a few people like that) but it also wouldn't surprise me to learn that they were gifted to him from mommy and daddy. Hell, I wouldn't complain!
  12. Exactly. The funny thing is it didn't even phase me that the woman I was "with" had a kid who was only a couple years younger than myself (didn't live with her of course). She had money and would spoil me and take me out to dinner, buy me booze and beer, give me spending cash and money for gas, she even upgraded and renewed my AAA membership and bought me a wii. She was nuts though (in a very good and bad way). Her lust was too much for me to handle. She'd send me texts constantly and would never leave me alone. Ah well...it was fun while it lasted.
  13. Hmm...I may actually be able to submit something...don't know why I never considered it before. This isn't a submission, but a possibility, and a sample of what I could provide...
  14. The GTR. I really like Nissans, but I can not stand this car. I do not know what infuriates me so much about it. Other than the fact hat I think it is ugly...
  15. Well, I had a brief run-in with a cougar 46 years of age through most of August. We had some good times...all no strings attached of course. Granted, I had to kind of cut contact with her because she became too much of a liability.
  16. Agreed. If I'm getting a BMW, it would only be in Alpinweiss.
  17. Our office uses those Aeron chairs...for being some of the most comfortable chairs (supposedly) I am not impressed. Just like you would test drive a car before buying, go test out some chairs. Get whatever feels comfortable to you, not what someone else tells you is comfortable.
  18. Nice. Congrats to your dad I suppose. Though, if I had to choose between the Legacy GT and the Malibu, the Leggy would win hands down. Has he driven any of the options? I'm not so sure I understand the "too fancy" thing.
  19. Shame I'm not over 25...I'm in a geographically desirable area to perform car reviews.
  20. Vans over here as well. That is all I have worn consistently for the past...well over a decade at least. I have been looking for some new shoes though. Something to wear to work on casual Fridays and something to wear for a night on the town. I love my Vans, but white skate shoes don't always cut it. I need something more dress/casual. I was looking at Steve Maddens, but the ones I want (Krave) were out of stock in my size and are apparently discontinued. I really don't know what to go with. I'm looking for a brown leather shoe...more casual than dressy. I was considering Puma Speedcats which are pretty casual, but somewhat clean and classy, but I don't like the current brown they have. I'd probably get them in black. I was looking at Piloti Sebrings (I think) but again, as driving shoes, they aren't exactly what I am looking for (though they are close, and I sure wouldn't mind a pair of Pilotis.) I'm really not sure what to go with.
  21. I have a couple pairs of NBs that I use for gym duty. They have been great shoes. I've had them for at least a couple years now and no signs of having to get a new pair any time soon.
  22. Ours isn't bad, but not nearly the best on our street. We have 3 alpine white bimmers, a 1948 chevy pickup, my blue SVs, and then my sister with her white G35 coupe. The best would be the neighbor up the street who has an additional private garage somewhere else housing a good amount of Porsches, Ferraris, and other exotics. I see him drive up in his 90's 928 gts on occasion, but more frequently in his f430 or Z8. Typically he will just drive around in some mercedes. I'm also pretty sure the owner of Spyker lives around here as well. I've seen a Spyker C8 Spyder and Aileron driving around, and I'm pretty sure the owner of the company lives out this way, so I assume it is him. The lamest garage would have to be a couple streets over... a Lexus GX, LS, and ES.
