In an inverse to a vampire, I cannot be photographed directly, only via reflections.  I can be SEEN directly, just not photographed by those means.

TYD, that's hilarious...I guess it's from the sensory overload of downtown Toronto living.

Texas, huh? My best childhood friend just moved to the Austin TX area because he was priced out of Cali and wanted to buy a house.

He and his wife followed his in-laws who relocated to a more rural area between San Antonio and Austin. I think it's in the San Marcos area. I was stunned. It wouldn't be my first choice.

Ten bucks says I'm more stunned, especially if he followed in-laws.

I liked growing up without the entire extended family in one town...it made for some great excuses to take vacations (Susan lives in Orlando...let's go to Disney! WWII Vet. Aunt Lucy lives in San Antonio...let's remember the Alamo), and they couldn't annoy the crap out of me more than once a year when they descend on our house like vultures for the holidays.
