I had a 1977 sedan and yes that is rare a 79 with a floor shifter than alone is worth buying it for. A 350 or 455 and some Rally wheels, or Turbines on that baby would look great.

They need one SUV, and one compact car. Give them a G8 Sedan, G8 ST, G8 Safari (Wagon), G6 Coupe, G6 Sedan, G6 Drop Top, G5 Coupe/Sedan, Solstice Targa/Rag Top, and a new Torrent based on the new Equinox with unique body-styling and different interior that would sell too.

I spent alot of time in one at the Chicago Autoshow and thought it had a nice design and even nicer material's. Then again I own a Bonneville a car with an interior people hate apparently.

It does remind me of the 2000 Bonneville SSEi it was sharp and sophisticated in a field of boring sports sedans, and at the time 7.0 seconds to sixty wasn't shabby either. It is like the Bonneville re-do done right.
