  1. Or the Trump supporter who burned down a 100 year black church in Mississippi.
  2. And their domestic inbred cousins are trying to do the same thing here. https://www.yahoo.com/finance/news/former-kkk-leader-david-duke-075823237.html
  3. Very true but they will be cross shopped nonetheless.
  4. The amount of bourbon that it would take for me to like this truck, would literally kill me.
  5. "Latest Consumer Reports Auto Reliability Survey Has Buick In the Top 3"
  6. There was a good reason for the Lincoln reference and it was actually a compliment to Lincoln as to why I mentioned it. For years, they were easily in CRs top 10 in the 2000s, using the same formula that Buick is using now (other than BOF SUVs). Understand that now or do you want to continue this stupid SJW crusade when it doesn't even apply here? True but that is not what the thread is about and he knows it. He wants to criticize me for bringing up Lincoln (which I brought up for reference in regards to Buick) while bringing up FCA like it doesn't matter (and he wasn't even referring to the CR report anyway). BTW, Ford is mentioned as well and since Lincoln is a part of Ford...
  7. You really did click on the wrong thread because this is about Buick, not FCA.
  8. I was trying to nice about it but it really is a mess inside and out. That interior looks like it belongs more in a Fiat 500 and not a Mercedes. I just cannot wrap my head around the ugliness of it all.
  9. Simply hideous interior with a can't make up its mind what it wants to be exterior to match. Sorry but no.
  10. This "Is Ford slipping" is just the ebb and flow of the business. It's just the constant cat mouse game that has been going on with these companies for a century now. They both have different ideas that will continue to make it a cat and mouse game. All that matters is how their ideas benefit the customer and not the stockholders and bean counters.
  11. Maybe you should talk to your buddy who brought up Cadillac and GMC into this because he thought that I would be offended by it (of course, now it looks like it has been deleted). As others have alluded to, CR is crap overall but it is also a tool that one can use to gauge certain aspects of a car or truck (just not all aspects). It should be used with all other tools at the consumers disposal so that one can make an informed decision about their next car or truck.
  12. Exactly my point for years. It just makes me giggle inside when folks just can't get over the fact that not everyone here is beholden to only one brand or manufacturer. I also have had many different results with past cars that would not be considered very good by some here while I have some really crappy experiences with cars that are regarded as having bullet proof reliability (looking at you Lexus ES300). I had an old 95 Eagle Talon for years, back in NC, and it was one the most trouble free cars I ever owned (save for the crappiest factory door handles on the planet). My point here is that some folks need to separate these one brand notions when talking to other folks because not everyone feels as strongly as they do about their ONE brand, whether it be GM, FCA, Toyota, Daimler-Benz, or Ford.
  13. I mentioned Lincoln because they are cut from the same corporate cloth as Buick. No need to get your panties in a knot over a simple observation. Btw, Toyota and Lexus have far more models than Lincoln with a lot of tech while still being reliable. Want to try a different argument?
  14. A thousand times, this^^^!! and mentioning the interior shows that someone clearly has not looked at both, which are the same save for badging and Denali trims.
  15. So Buick is just taking a page from the Lincoln playbook, only more reliably. Good news for Buick.
  16. One word. Raptor.
  17. Ford offers more trims (with different grills, bumper covers, and other sheet metal nuances) than GM so there is are just as many variations for Ford to build than for GM to make the two different brands they supply. This one is better than two or two is better than one argument is just asinine knowing those simple facts.
  18. Maybe GM should have been smarter, like Ford, and just shut down production for a week or two and let employees get paid for doing nothing during that time as opposed to offering the actual customers a nice enticement to buy one of their trucks. Thats sarcasm btw.
  19. Sorry but if that is what is being brought here, then it should come with a fifth of bourbon for being so hideous looking. It is a hodge dodge of everything that the Chinese like to rip off.
  20. While the 911 is undoubtedly the better overall car, it should be for $40K more. Imagine what an additional $40K would do for the Vette. Of course, given the mid engine rumors, you might not have to imagine for much longer.
  21. Happens to all cars even Mercedes. GLA-down 6% for the year and is much newer than the Lamdas GLE-down 19.9% for September 2016 versus Sept 2015 Its a good thing the other CUVs did okay for them since ALL sedans of theirs are down outside of the E Class (which gets the benefit of combining with CLS sales). And no they do not need more than three of they so please. When you have sisters companies under the GM umbrella covering the rest, the need for more is just overstated. They may end up with a fourth but they really are not in dire straights with this, as you are implying. And again, all of those you mentioned have replacements in year or less. Good grief.
  22. They are doing okay and new models are already being introduced.
  23. Yeah. Just saw the Ford report on their numbers and the fleet decline explains it completely. It also confirms what a lot of people were saying about the Mustangs fleet heavy numbers.
