    Think of it as their GLA competitor. The X1 is the practical compact CUV, this is the less practical, more stylish compact CUV.

    Kind of a larger, less homely version of the cult favorite ProBox/Succeed.

    ..and at the other end of their lineup, it looks like the X7 is definitely coming, I can only assume a 'coupe' X8 will soon follow...

    I'm surprised they haven't yet put out a 1 series sedan and 2 series coupe on the same platform.

    But with the growth in the compact CUV market, it may do well...esp. if it's cheap enough...

    Strong Hyundai vibes from certain angles..rear looks like the Tucson..very derivative. Also similar greenhouse to the GLA.

    That's what I like about Mazda..they seem to go their own way, rather than copying Toyota's Gundam-inspired styling.

    I like the Vision concept..strongly RWD proportions, neat rear detailing. The Kai concept is a pretty slick compact hatch, like the interior.

    I liked the 3000GT (GTO in Japan), esp. the hardtop convertible version. Had a buddy with one years ago, rode in it a few times. Reminded me of a Japanese Trans Am...

    Yes..updated version of the 2006 generation...called Pajero, Shogun or Montero depending on the market.

    The forward curve of the rear door window and the shape of the rear quarter window just doesn't flow...seems awkward to me.

    Seasonal randomness--I saw Pumpkin Spice flavor dog treats out for fall at the Pet Supply store. I wonder if the auto parts store has Pumpkin Spice wax and motor oil?
