  1. My Yorkie would look really cute in the schoolgirl outfit. Not sure what style would fit my Aussie Nauti--her AKC name is 'Naughty and Nice', which fits her personality--she can be very sweet and cuddy, or pure evil, barky and bitey...
  2. I'm sure it does..it's just harder to find good BBQ in places where it's not indigenous. The best I found in Denver was in small mom & pop places that were run by transplants from the South, Texas, etc. I'll keep exploring, I'm sure I'll find some good stuff here...I recently found a 'Chicago style' BBQ place nearby that is excellent.
  3. Australian Terrier... about 13 lbs. Here's a pic: Nauti And the Yorkie: Ginger
  4. That looks a lot fun... I did get a sweater, sweatshirt, and winter jacket for my new Yorkie puppy.... I've got a sweatshirt somewhere for my Aussie.
  5. Didn't know that...I know in the West, when I see BBQ referred to as 'Carolina style' it refers to a vinegar and mustard based sauce..
  6. Which is a strange juxtaposition considering the Republican pres. candidate ran on the 'Country First' theme.. God, guns, and Asian cars for all!
  7. Fascinating..I didn't realize they made cars anymore w/o armrests standard.
  8. Well, it does provide fresh product for Avis..
  9. Just read an article recently about Maynard and his winery out here in Cornville...pretty interesting.
  10. Chubb (insurance company)
  11. Saw something truly bizzare yesterday afternoon---a pink and white old VW Beetle with custom '57 Chevy style rear fenders and decklid (with the fins, trim, and taillights like a '57), and 3rd '57 Chevy style fin in the center of the roof. Didn't see the front end, so I don't know if it looked like a '57 up there..
  12. I've been getting my Topic Subcription Reply Notification emails duplicated and delayed...just got one a few min ago (1:05pm MT) in my inbox from a post that was from 5:20am.
  13. Or Milan and MKZ.
  14. Well, the 3000GT was called the GTO in Japan..
  15. Of course, since the cars are all the identical fake 'Car of Tommorow' spec racers, change the decals from Toyota to Chevy or Ford and you have the appearance of several brands. NASCAR is the WWE of motorsport.
  16. One could argue it's positioned against the Malibu, since the BPG dealers are competing against Chevy more than other automakers..
  17. The Orlando is a minivan/MPV, though. And the Equinox is a midsize CUV...Chevy doesn't have a compact CUV in the US, or a minivan or MPV at all.
  18. Any reason you posted the same message so many times?
  19. No idea..financial constraints, probably. Anyone know when is the Insignia-based Regal going into production in China? 2009?
  20. Even if it is '3+ years' old it will be infinitely better than the all-old cars Buick has now (w/ pushrod V6s, 4spd automatics). Sounds like the Regal will replace the current LaCrosse as the 'smaller' sedan and the '10 LaCrosse will replace the Lucerne as the flagship.

    Ball funk

Yeah, the Steelers are a childhood favorite (lived about 30 miles from Pittsburgh as a kid), and having lived in Colorado 11 years, I got into the Broncos, Avs, and Rockies in a big way in the late '90s.
  22. Certain cars look better in dark colors instead of light metallic or white, IMHO. I much prefer dark colors for the most part. On some cars, silver is such a predicable, dull choice--like on any Mercedes or BMW. For example, the CLS looks infinitely hotter IMHO in dark blue, dark maroon, or black than the predicable silver or white (there a lot of white Mercedes in AZ).
  23. Agreed..my skeptical nature and background in math, science and technology make it pretty hard for me to believe in any kind of 'higher power' or theism. I can't really believe in things that can't be proven in a rational, logical manner.
  24. Living in Colorado, I remember the first snow storm of the season every year---that's when the newbies from CA/AZ/TX etc would roll their SUVs into the medians and ditches. Having come from the Midwest, though, I know how to drive in the winter. I worked w/ a guy that moved to Denver from Houston--he and his wife had 2 2WD SUVs..kind of pointless in the winter.
  25. MMMmmmmm...bbq. I love BBQ whether it's Carolina style, Memphis style, Texas style,St. Louis style, whatever. I've found a couple decent places here in AZ, but good q is hard to find in the West, I'm afraid. I still remember as a kid stopping w/ my folks when on a road trip at some little BBQ place in Mt. Airy, NC and another place in Georgia just north of the Florida line on I-95... great food. From '82-88 we did the I-77/I-95 (or I-75 instead) drive from Ohio to S.Florida and back 3-4 times a year for 6 years--either in the Winnebago or a Lincoln..
