it would be mostly a waste of money, but to bad they didn't stick the 6speeds in this thing. say goodbye to the best quality of work in a car with some flair... right, Oshawa has the best...hours/car....? hopefully great things are just around the corner...but not likely.

so compared to the malibu... how different are they in weight and final drive ratios? couldn't the malibu theoretically have a 35 highway number with this engine....?

if the 4 can get better than expected, maybe the 6 will hit 26 highway... nothing big but when it's a numbers game, every bit helps. edit they wouldn't have to detune the 3L for the 2 mode would they?... that would great just to see what would be possible with that.

just a comparison of xfired 4770 vs a 4890. http://en.expreview.com/2009/04/28/first-l...enchmark.html/4 beats the 4890 in all their tests, might not at higher resolutions though, >1900x1200. the 4770s only have higher power consumption under low to idle loads.

I'd say that's pretty good. I think the main advantages AMD have are that it's typically cheaper for roughly the same performance and their Am2/+/3 setup will be around for atleast another year...Intel's 775 processors are at the end of thier life cycles, the i5 isn't out yet to take it's place, even though i'm sure the i5 will still kick amd's 2 and 3 core processors easily. The 4770 is a great value, typically beats the 4830 and about the same price, comes close to the 4850 while being cheaper and using less power.

the 3L should fit well in a kappa, right? HP of the 2.0L T but cheaper...? GM just needs to find out what they want to do with it.. scraping it is not a good idea, i think.

just looked at it... extensive history on "power" just quickly looking through it, just found 1 typo on the HP the 2010 3.6L has.... it reads 380. more like 280. overall, quite nice. are you trying to "market" this website, and if so, what do you hope to achieve? just informing the public, or more or less a history/business case for how buick is/ can be more succesful?

it's actually not bad, other than how tall the grill/front is/looks. I have little to truly complain about just from the pics you put on here.

i've thought about that... the constitution does say no state shall enter into a confederacy, alliance..such and such... attacking ft Sumter wasn't smart either. they'd have to ...vote on it, i guess, succeed, then do what they want....being hostile at all to the remaining states would not be smart.

any w-body with a series 1 3800 any w-body with a 3.1L that has been "fixed" ..the intake manifold gasket. option 1, if they're in decent shape shouldn't be more than 2500.. or so... option 2, could be as high as 5K but prolly closer to 3K. i know mine are "lame" but they would be good for a first time owner.

it should be able to do well if it can be styled well, have a clearly upscale interior, smooth, powerful quiet engines.... if it's based on stuff from chevy, i don't care... but it just has to be worth it... not like the W-body clones (for the most part)
