  1. Also saw a Alfa Romeo Coupe in a pearl blue/gold color on an exotic car dealership that sells and repairs them.
  2. Was back in Millwaukee area again saw a 2008 G8 GT in black with 19's it was wonderful would have been better in white. Saw lots of new Turds but more GMT-900's at the Brewers game. It was one after another. Who said the truck and SUV market is dead for GM? Also saw a Bentley sedan, (big one), a Buick LaX Super in coca and it looked bitching blew me and my sister off in her RX-300. It was driven by a 50 something man and his hot wife. Also saw a Buick Lucerne Special Edition in Pearl White and I think it was a 2009 with a 3.9. Saw lots of Camry's a few new Malibu's in LTZ trim stood out nicely and a ton of Trailblazers and two SS's. I also saw a sweet 1972 Olds 98 in brown with a 455 and a cream top with mags, it was a hard top too 68! Had a nice sound to here as well. But I saw enough new Tahoe's and Silverado's to make any Chevy truck lover happy. Also saw alot of new Aciada's way more than I expected. Even so the new Buick Enclave must be selling well because they were all over. Another thing I saw was a 1986-1987 Buick GN with GNX clone rims and all. Dodge dealer today had a new Challenger SRT-8 it was freakin sweet.
  3. I hate to say it but that is point of view the some of the media has about GM. Cut 'em loose. This would be a huge economic loss and would literally kill many small towns with dealerships, large cities and manufactoring plants, advertising and all alike. Think of the dealership revolt. It can't happen and it won't. Exactly why when I was talking to a "buyer" for the midwests largest Toyota dealership he said GM is not going anywhere. They have pretty good products but Hummer is dead and Pontiac is next. I disagreed with Pontiac and gave me reasons his point of view changed slightly. He said well if they get more small and sporty cars out they prolly will be okay. He said Toyota won't be making 2009 Tundra's and the plant will be retooled for the Prius for 2010. Then commented on how SLOW they were selling along with the Seq. He said Camry, Prius and Corolla models were selling great though. Trucks will become a need based market and Toyota will be hurting badly because of the investment they made in the Texas plant. I said an ugly Texas built Prius will be the day. He laughed as he knew if he sold GM I would buy from him, but if I need a used car I do check with him. Another example of great people working with/for an evil company I hate.
  4. It also looks like a base model maybe a model that road a little lower with better wheels/trim would be better.
  5. I am gonna get shot but gee its not as nice as they Invicta concept with a better set of rims it will be all better. I like it.
  6. I never wanted a large RWD Cadillac. At least not yet I wanted a DTS replacement done right with a six speed automatic FWD 40K-55K sticker range and 300-325hp V8 that gets 24-25mpg (hwy) and looks great and I bet that would sell, to the faithful and new buyers alike. The STS should stay but grow in size and move up market into the 50-65K range. Then the CTS stays in the 35-45K range. Slot a BLS (FWD prolly) 27.5K-35K and you have a good car line-up. With the SRX/BRX, Escalade and XLR they would be fine. Give Buick the Park Ave from China and give them a new Lucerne aka DTS. Invicta/Regal and a possibly a small sporty car GNX anyone? Along with the Enclave they would have a line-up. As for Pontiac give them a new Torrent NOT GMC. Keep the G8 give a new Malibu based G6 (styled totally different) and a new G5 (aka Cruze) slot a G3 in below with the Vibe and Solstice you have a strong line-up. As for Chevrolet bring out the Camaro and Traverse and give all GMT-900's six speed automatics already. Ditch the 4.3 Vortec for a more efficent motor but I don't know what. GMC keep all the Denali line vehicles and move the segment-up market some more. Also keep the Aciada fresh and do not give them the next Torrent leave that to Pontiac. (So they have one SUV, they whined to get the Torrent so just make them happy from the start.) Some people want sporty SUV's case in Pontiac why the Torrent sells 3K a month! Hummer kill or give them an H4 and H3 and call it a day. Saab keep but make products actual Saabs no Trailblazer rebadges. Saturn kill them because even with a new line-up they aren't selling at all. Pontiac has an old line-up and sells really strongly still. Buy out the dealers lord knows I don't have one within 50 miles of my house. It is way cheaper to buy out Saturn, Saab or Hummer than it is Pontiac and GMC like many around here think they should do. This brands are relatively new and have no following and heritage like BPG does. Simple really. Someone needs to have the guts to do it. I would.
  7. I hope Honda will and the Volt will too.
  8. Honestly I agree people buy the Tundra because its a Toyo so it gets good fuel economy, what a joke. If you want the best fullsize truck for economy a Silverado with the 5.3L 315-320hp is hard to beat.
  9. I like them better with the Caddy 4.9 or Northstars.
  10. He better like it. It is not my kind of car but it will be good for Bobs paycheck and GM's Image so what is not to like. Even if it was slower than my 1977 Bonneville with a 301ci. V8.
  11. What suckers will pay for. The one for 55k is a great laugh.
  12. Could it get any uglier?
  13. They sold 67,000 Aveo's last year that is pretty good I think.
  14. Really?
  15. That would be even stupider. I did my rebadge as a joke and I thought I could improve on the one that was done for effect.
  16. Good news.
  17. I have done it before. And will again.
  18. I liked the styling of old TSX way better. The new one is down right homely.
  19. I'd go with the HHR SS, G8, Lucerne (you might be able to afford one), or Taurus.
  20. Not really considering the LeSabre was rated under the old EPA system and had 22 less horsepower and less displacement in the motor. Most cars took a 2-4 mpg even more in some cases loss in fuel economy and the 3900 is more efficent than they 3800 that is impressive.
  21. Dropping Buick and Pontiac is a huge mistake. Even dropping GMC would be a huge mistake because the average GMC customer due to image may not ever consider a Chevrolet. Buick is staying and Pontiac is most likely staying. Pontiac has way more sales than Buick. Even with a somewhat outdated line-up Pontiac has alot of sales and with a new small and midsize car could still have alot of spark left in them.
  22. Thankfully the new Camaro is fast. When will they give us more photos? Exact specs and pricing?
  23. GMC, Pontiac and Buick should all stay. As for Saturn good-bye I would cut the brand with no history and a small dealer network. I think Hummer is effectively dead already.
  24. Saw a 1980's Jeep FJ-9 ice cream truck heading east on I-94 between Madison and Johnson Creek.
  25. If I had to pick one from my list give me the pearl White Cadillac DTS Platinum.
