Make sure you check out the 97-05 Regal... it's got the 3.8L which is a stronger Engine and the GS is of course supercharged... Not that the 3100 in the century is bad or unreliable but it's weak. According to JD Power that generation of Centuries and Regals were the most reliable midsizers of their day, remember.

I would say so... And it's kinda funny with everybody saying they like the 6000 more than the other A-Bodies... I was the other way- My favorite was always the Cutlass Ciera.

Well we have 12 GM Dealers in the metro area here, most people who own a Chev/Cadillac Dealer here also own a PBG Dealer (Jack Carter Chev/Cadillac owns Northland Pontiac, GSL Chev City owns three other GM dealers- two in Edmonton and one on 200St in Langley BC), but there's very little cross brand ownership up here. The GM Dealer owners mostly stick to their own brands.

I like that vintage of Seville.... but I much perfer the Lucerne CXS' more classic lines. You'd be surprised with your insurance for your son. I found out from my insurance company that it would be nearly 700$/year cheaper to insure myself on a 2008 Corvette Z06 than the G5 I currently drive (Figure that one out)

The Cobalt LS and G5 Base models don't come standard with an armrest either.

Well as fate would have it I'm going to be in the Pontiac family for less time than expected. It's looking like I'll be returning my G5 for a 2008 Cobalt within a week.

Funny I was just thinking of this comparo yesterday. The other thing is that in the United States there isn't like three mega airlines with fleets of 2000+ Aircraft that are intertwined with the economy. Rather than having GM, Ford, and Chrysler you have AA, United, US Airways, Southwest, Jetblue, Frontier, Spirit, USA3000, Delta-Northwest, Continental, Alaska-Horizon, AirTran and smaller outfits that I just don't remember right now. If one cuts the slack there's lots of American airlines to pick up the slack on domestic air travel... however there is no such guarantee that Ford would simply 'get' GM and Chrysler's former customers.

Canada looks like it will give GM 6-7 Billion Canadian Dollars by the end of the year.
