  1. I'd be wary of the L-Series if I were you. Sorry to hear this but keep thinking positive thoughts.
  2. I will pretend I didn't hear that... 1. New York 2. London 3. Paris 4. Brasilia 5. Moscow
  3. Coles Notes: OnStar refuses Calgary Police request to track missing vehicle of murder victim because the police call it "missing" instead of "stolen" and don't quote a stolen vehicle file number. By the time that OnStar tracks the truck the system has been tampered with.
  4. Wow, the F150 held up real well
  5. The only way I'd be buying a FWD Car with a V8 would be if it was a G-Body DTS.
  6. I've been saying this for months
  7. I'll be doing it for next months cc bill
  8. It's ok but the C6 outshines it.
  9. If it's a Ram or F150, then consider it. If it's a Tundra please run. If you don't think you need it I would have to think long and hard about the cost/benefit of buying it.
  10. Canadian Only Model... Like the G5 Sedan I suppose.
  11. I know I should have been paying attention when I bought the G5 but I guess they got me, the salesman and everybody else swore it had it so I just took their word for it (never again, believe me). That's the first thing I tested on the car (before I even set the presets )
  12. Yeah, here's hoping the Canadian Dollar will plunge another ten cents or so- good for export firms and good for bringing tourists (such as yourself) out here more often. as for the wheelcovers I think I'll just buy them new- My dealer sells parts to me at invoice so it's probably cheaper than going onto Ebay and paying shipping. Yeah I love those wheels, but I'm very cautious about spending money on this car so far... I've already got expensive new tires on the 15 inch wheels that have a long treadlife warranty, so I think I'm going to do small things to the Cobalt like the wheelcovers and spend my money on new wheels (the Factory 17s) for the Impala instead.
  13. The Dealer found an appropriate Cobalt with the Appropriate Equipment and agreed to take back the G5 I bought in May... So I'm now driving a Slate-colored 2008 Cobalt LT. I've only noticed two differences from the 2007 G5 (except for now having the safety features I paid for )- and those are the body colored bumper trim and the instant fuel mileage gauge (very welcome addition). They switched over my iPod Interface and Tripletred tires for free- I just have to have Nitrogen put back in them (ugh- there's 20$ I'll never see again). I'm thinking of putting on the 2009 Wheelcovers after seeing this picture here... seems attractive enough. I may add Tire Pressure Sensors too when I have the chance. I'm really enjoying the Slate color- I think that it's way more attractive than the silver in the G5. You can find pictures of the car in this thread in the "Members Rides Section". In addition I decided to pass on my grandfather's car- something just didn't feel right in my gut about buying his Impala- I'm not sure what it was but it certainly didn't sit well with me when I thought about it. So that's about it, I'm just glad that the dealer decided to make right their mistake and get this all done promptly and properly.
  14. 2008 Cobalt LT1 Sedan, 2.2L Just Picked It Up Today. Story Here BETTER PICS TOMORROW
  15. I was just thinking the 2nd Row Captains Chair from a 2001-05 Venture would be perfect. Esp in that gray cloth like the two ones we had it'd be pretty nice.
  16. Seriously I thought my Baba was the only person to pronounce it "Tarjay" but regardless we've never had a breadmaker before, too complicated.
  17. Good Taste, he has.
  18. I have a solution for your problem with Metric, Satty. Move to Canada, where metric IS standard
  19. Century Hands Down. The W-Century and W-Regal were rated the best and second best midsize cars in overall dependability for their entire production run by JD Power and there are more than enough success stories to go along with that fact. The 3100 is known to get low-mid 20s in the city and over 30 on the hwy. Cheaper to insure and less likely to be stolen. It's a no-brainer.
  20. Nice Review That hard plastic thing really is disheartening- Ford Gets it why can't GM just get the picture. If there is one thing in our Impala that irritates me it's the lower Dash and Door panels feeling so cheap.
  21. You've nailed how I feel on this issue. I think there needs to be a Malibu Coupe at the very least, but in terms of my own personal preferences.... I will always buy sedans, mainly because of practicality, space etc. Most of the new cars cars that I really like today are sedans (CTS, DTS, Lucerne, 2010 LaX, Malibu, 2010 Taurus, Fusion, Impala, G8) and I don't think I'd like to see many of them in Coupe form (CTS, G8 and maybe the Malibu)
  22. +1 Vote for the new 'stang. I actually may like it better than the Camaro full stop... They've fixed the interior and the exterior styling and it just doesn't look as bulky as the Camaro.
  23. Well I think you and I are the only ones with that Gen of Impala but I'll say it seems about right in comparison to the Venture and Malibu... The G5 and Cobalt both have a noticeably stronger heater though.
  24. That interior is God.... Let's hope that GM lives to see this thing in production.
