  1. I'd consider a Volvo V60 or a used Audi S5 2dr coupe. (the 5dr hatch is nice, but I really like the looks of the coupe).
  2. Way cool... I've looked before for a photo of the Pontiac dealer that was down the street from my childhood home in the late 70s...it was across the street from my elementary school..walked past it for the first 4 years of school. Montgomery Pontiac, Sunset Boulevard, Stuebenville, Ohio. I have no idea when it closed, but there is a Speedway gas station and a Walgreens there now. Still can remember as a kid walking past and seeing the new downsized '77 Catalinas and Bonnevilles, the facelifted '77 Firebirds, and a Can Am...
  3. I work out of the house, so I'm not really racking up the miles...only put 20k on my Jeep in the 30 months I've had it. I get decent enough gas mileage (22-24 for freeway driving) that it doesn't bother me.
  4. Saw a nice copper colored 67 Satellite or GTX 2dr yesterday.
  5. After reading of Eddie Money's passing today, I've been listening to his music...always enjoyed him on the radio in the 80s...neat video for 'Shakin', has some Chevy lowriders... https://youtu.be/2tcD_dVcXE4
  6. Playing with the online configurator, I was able to get a Taycan Turbo S to $246k with options...fun, fun
  7. A 500 mile range would be more compelling.
  8. Yeah, side profile and front are fine...the rear would be better if they moved the license plate mounting up into the trunklid and squared off the trunklid opening.....it just looks weird the way it's placed and too many lines. The weird recesses around the taillights also don't help, they make the trunklid appear to bulge outward. I like the roofline and C-pillars, very similar to the ATS with none of the weirdness of the CT5.
  9. Those are nice...had one in my last cube in Scottsdale...
  10. No idea if it was stolen, but a woman on the FB thread said it looks like her neighbor's car.
  11. Someone took out a light pole w/ a Mustang LX 5.0 and fled the scene a couple streets over from me this evening...
  12. I have a couple Herman Miller Aerons in my home workspaces...one is about 15 years old but still in good shape. Very comfortable.
  13. Happy Birthday!
  14. It is fun to speculate what a modern Duesenberg could be like. I like the idea of a Pontiac revival.
  15. Surprised they haven't made an electric E-Pace, the name fits..
  16. Sharp. Great color.
  17. I like it...the rectangular trim on the C-pillars seems like an afterthought, though. Neat retro touch w/ the white roof and windows in the roof sides. Seems like the Bronco will be of a similar shape and proportions.
  18. I'm assuming the production EQS sedan will look more like an S-class sedan, the way the EQC looks like the GLC...
  19. Sometimes I get busy and get behind a week or so on the calendar. When the weather is nice, I tend to not work at that desk and instead sit out on the patio most of the day w/ my laptop. IMG_2518.HEIC
  20. Yeah, just concept car fantasy shlock. Will be interesting to see how a production version would look. Since they have the production EQC and EQV, I'd assume a sedan EV will be up next...
  21. Yeah, I'm definitely not a clean-desk type of worker...I have no fear of clutter. That's data from over 60 years ago, though...how is relevant to today? The job market and the nature of the economy is very different today.
  22. It's already common knowledge the Bronco will be based on the Ranger, so it will be RWD/BOF. Now the baby Bronco (rumored to be Bronco Scout) will be FWD CUV since it's based on the Escape.
  23. Sadly, I think that was the last it was on the road. I traded it on my ‘14 in March 17 w/ 168k, CarFax showed it sold then got an oil change in May 17, then it showed up at the salvage auction for a towing company in Oct 17 w/ 173k....I bet the transmission failed, it was slipping when I traded it. 9 years in the hell of Arizona took its toll.
  24. I’m used to seeing bicycles hauled on top of vehicles on roof racks or on hitch mounted racks at the rear, would be weird to see them *in* a truck bed. With them raised like that there is room for other content under them.
  25. It will be interesting to see what they go for 2-3 years down the line as CPOs or otherwise used. But at the new price point I wouldn't take one over a GC or Ram 1500... I don't need a truck currently, and the novelty of the removable top would wear off probably. I would like to test drive one, though.
