Drop-Top Hummer to Make Detroit Debut Date posted: 01-04-2006 SOUTHGATE, Mich. — Auto supplier American Specialty Cars (ASC) will introduce two open-top concepts at the Detroit auto show next week, including the Hummer H3 Cosmos, the first convertible version of the popular SUV. Some pictures of a base 2008 Ford Focus sedan at the Georgian College Autoshow in Barrie Ontario. Interior looks much nicer than before, and it flows together nicely. Fit and finish is ok, although the housing for the radio screen was loose. Exterior didn't have the chrome vents, and was very spartan. I don't typically like small cars because they are often unattractive...but this has to be one of the nicest looking tiny cars I've ever seen. The Daihatsu D-Compact X-Over debuting at the Paris Auto Show this month.

Looks great, same for the interior. See? Ford can make a great center stack that is well intgrated...just not stateside cuz we are "inferior"

This was my first time seeing the coupe in person. Both variants look much better in the flesh than pictures show. The rear styling on the sedan is pretty awkward looking though! Interior materials and fit and finish is very good. The wall of buttons and general style is not that fantastic. It gives of a kind of "not bad but not great" vibe. I don't know why, but the passenger side airbag cover came off completely. I swear I wasn't trying to break anything! Note the granny special gold Accord in the tent.

This past week was the New England International Auto show at the Boston Convention & Exhibition Center. Yesterday Myself, my girlfriend, Sixty8, and his daughter spent the day touring the various displays. This year was bigger and better than the last time I went (two years ago), with more cars, a custom section, and a classic section featuring among other things, a Stanley Steamer and a Duesenberg Model J. Sixty8, not surprisingly, spent most of the time around the classics, while my girlfriend watched his daughter and waited in line with Sixty8 and his daughter so she could play Gran Turismo in some floating Subaru thing. After falling nearly 20 feet from the Nissan display in Cobo Arena the gentleman landed on his head, was rushed to the hospital in minutes and is reported to have a closed head injury. We all wish for this gentleman to have a safe & speedy recovery.

I had the pleasire of attending the 11th annual GM Powertrain St. Catharines Auto Show on Friday. Its an all GM show held at the plant where the L-series engines are built!
