So I have looking to pick up a used Mustang and was going to pick up a GT, but the late 90's cobra prices are really coming down. Here are 2 postings: THis one is 1997 Cobra, I am going to look at on Thursday. I very suspicous of the price. I am guessing it cant pass smog. http://sfbay.craigslist.org/pen/cto/1591379324.html The other one is a 1998. What I hate about looking for cars like these, is the lowering kits. So many people seem to lower their ride down and in the process take the nice ride right out of the car: http://sfbay.craigslist.org/pen/cto/1590940705.html

Just looking at cheap cars when I came across this. http://nh.craigslist.org/cto/1390636264.html This is all well and fine. The "features" list is kind of funny, but the best bit is this at the end: I am assuming the fuel problem is preventing the battery from getting fuel correctly. I actually laughed out loud. I mean I know not everyone is a car person or a mechanic but it just sounded funny. I dunno...I need to get to sleep.

http://delaware.craigslist.org/cto/2456201986.html I this generation of GMC Sierras. I remember riding my 10-speed about 3-4 miles from home to the local GMC dealership to check out the 1990 and then 1991 new model year Sierras. I still have some 35mm prints of the pictures I would take of these new trucks (was really into the '90 454SS pickup too at the time, and have pictures of that too somewhere).

Link: http://philadelphia.craigslist.org/cto/2534482998.html Something about this car has caught my eye... maybe it's the fact these cars don't exist anywhere anymore... sure, from time to time I'll see a similar vintage Bonneville or Parisenne, but I can't ever recall seeing a Catalina.

With the prices of the new vehicles I want being very high, I've begun to consider buying a used car that I could take a short term loan on and pay-off within two or three years tops. In the meantime, I would try to save up some extra cash to use as a down-payment on a new vehicle (so figure a 2011 or 2012 model, if I could hold off that long). In my searching, both online and reading the Auto Shopper Magazine, I found a 1999 Buick Riviera Supercharged Coupe at a Philadelphia Chevy dealer that appears to be fully loaded (CD/Cass, sunroof, heated seats, chrome rims, White Diamond Tricoat w/ Taupe leather, etc) with only 63K on it. The Auto Shopper ad states $6,750 and t…

So I have an opportunity to buy a 1995 Chevy pickup from my aunt... but I'm not sure what a fair price would be. I'm pretty sure the pickup is a 1500, as it has the V6. Extended cab, long bed, manual. No A/C. AM/FM cassette. Aqua/Teal color. Pretty spartan, as that how my uncle bought things. The truck has only 32K miles on it... and was last driven 4 years ago. It has been parked in a lean-to during this time and is covered in dust... but I can see the truck is in really NICE shape. The only damage is that someone hit the left corner of the rear bumper... causing the bumper to kink and put a small dent in the bed. KBB is listing this at $3755... but I feel that…

http://reading.craig...3293420447.html I've been watching this very interesting 1979 GMC Sierra. A little gawdy in the color (green), the hood, cap, rims, and front fender extensions all reek of '70s street performance. However, the biggest issue I have with this truck is the "Sierra Grande" trim. I don't believe this truck is a true representation of that trim, as it appears to have more equipment per that trim/package. I'm wondering if it's a true Sierra Grande with additional items put on during its last restoration, or if it is wearing the wrong emblems? I will try to contact the seller for a picture of the RPO Service Label to verify.

A friend of mine from the fire station buys his vehicles from a partiuclar Dodge dealership in southern NJ; he bought himself a 2012 Ram 2500 Power Wagon this year, upgrading from his 2010 Ram 1500 Crew Cab 4WD. He mentioned to me on more than one occasion that the dealer owner is a fire truck enthusiast and had amassed a small collection of vintage fire trucks. Not having any partiuclar need for them, after a few years of ownership and storing outdoors on the dealer lot, he decided to sell them off. He took a picture of one he though I'd like, which he thought was a Chevy, and sent it to me last month. I've been meaning to go online and check it out, finally doing it…

Auction Insanity: Ray P. Lambrecht Collection 500 Cars From An Old Car Dealer In Nebraska – Trade Ins, Never Sold New Cars, More A small town Nebraska Chevy dealer took every unsold new car from every model year he was in business and just about every single car he ever took as a trade in and saved them all. Sounds cool, right? It is, especially when you know that there are 500 of these cars and they they’re all heading for auction at the end of August. According to the auction house the vast majority of these cars are original survivors that have not been altered much from their stock configuration. The truly wild angle on this thing is the quantity of new cars that wer…

I don't want these any more. Free to a good home, just pay the price of shipping, Media Mail.

This is one of the race cars I used to wrench on. I always liked this one - it has some of its race history engraved in stealthy places. Someone scrawled the names of race tracks and dates along the way on panels you only see from the inside, or when opening a door etc. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Austin-Healey-1956-Austin-Healey-100-4-Race-Car-SCCA-Race-Ready-_W0QQcmdZViewItemQQhashZitem231209c4e4QQitemZ150626485476QQptZUSQ5fCarsQ5fTrucks%23v4-37

"It's nice to see ya. It's been a long time ..." If you clicked the link, you'll see that it is a 1998 Chevrolet Camaro, in black, with LT-1 style taillights and I think it appears as if the Camaro plaque on the center stack has been moved in between the fog light switch and TCS delete panel. Call it a hunch, but I believe that is, in fact, my old Camaro. I think I'll call the lot up and ask if it's a five-speed car just to see if my suspicions are correct. Don't worry. I'm not buying it back. That car was worse than the fucking plague.

http://www.autoshopper.com/used-cars/1988_Oldsmobile_Cutlass_Supreme_Kenvil_NJ-3627645.htm (eight more pictures at the link above) 45k original miles, rear bucket seats, digital dash, all for $3,450. A teacher of mine in high school had one of these C/S Internationals, except her's had the red & gray exterior with the red velour interior. I've always liked these versions of the C/S, and it would be a cool car to own for future cruise nights.

http://www.autoshopper.com/used-cars/1995_Oldsmobile_Cutlass_Supreme_Philadelphia_PA-3371380.htm V6, auto w/OD, 78,000 miles, p-seat, p-lcks, p-win, cruise, tilt, leather int., p-top, 2 dr, convt, $2,995. I've always wanted a '90s C/S Convertible, and the Holy Grail would be the '95 like this (and I even dig the red). Too bad I'm still under-employed and without a dime in the bank to spend on a "toy" car.

Hey everyone just wanted to drop by and post a link to the latest "How To" I've posted on Hbbpages: http://rvinyl.hubpages.com/hub/How-to-Install-Precut-Headlight-Protection-Kits I will be re-editing all of these and posting them in the Guides section of our site shortly but I actually want to get this out there as a reouce now. Also, is there a better place to post How-to's then here? So, check out the instructions and the protection kits here: https://www.rvinyl.com/Headlight-Protection.html

We're excited to launch American Car Craft's catalog of great stainless steel and chrome accessories on our site. I think their products would do well here as there's not much fluff (unlike the ABS caliper covers which I posted last week I think). Come check out our hard work. I posted in our blog here: http://blog.rvinyl.com/2013/11/14/rvinyl-launches-american-car-craft-catalog/

Couldn't help but take pics of a rough but solid '66 El Camino for sale while at a rest stop on the way to the Grand Canyon. It was located at an antique gas station in Hackberry, AZ right on Route 66. I have some more old iron pics that I'll probably post in the lounge. I'm not sure how one would handle the "no title" thing - I thought pre-1973 cars had no title and only needed a bill of sale as proof of ownership. At least that is how it is in NYS.

I'm looking for power window parts for a 1988 Olds 98 (Touring Sedan). I need everything (regulator, etc) in working condition. If possible I would like to purchase the entire door! These parts are for the front driver side door and must be in working condition from a car with power windows. I'm in West Haven, CT. If your parting out one of these cars or if you pass by one in the junk yard please let me know. Respond to this posting or email me at [email protected] . Thanks!

Either this guy's an idiot, or the marketing for Chevy's photography line is pretty poor.

This really isn't a post about selling as much as a review but I figured this would be the best place to put it. I know I have discussed a few of these products in other threads (such as the rim wraps and Duplicolor paint kits) but I wanted to do a more comprehensive post on the available options out there since they do seem to be multiplying at an astounding rate. If you're interested check out my post entitled What's a wheel accessory and why do I care? Feedback of any kind is always appreciated and, if you read all the way to the end, there's a chance to get a prize (sort of a prize anyway). Thanks again and enjoy the warming weather!

Hey everyone I hope your Tuesday's going well. We just got a bunch of rebate submission photos of a precut headlight kit installed on a 2002 Mini so, naturally, I did a blog post and threw them up on YouTube. If you take a look you'll see our customer (who now has tinted headlights and received a $20 rebate refund on his purchase) hand-trimmed the headlight tints because they are normally designed to cover the entire light. Not my cup of tea but he did a nice job. So, check it out and let us know what you think. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Qy5OkU9L4jM&feature=youtu.be http://rvinyl.blogspot.com/2013/12/customer-installation-photos-of-mini.html

Link: http://stcloud.craigslist.org/cto/3294477858.html ********************************* This thing is awesome. You know what's even more awesome? That topper. It's not some flimsy fiberglas topper or girly tonneau cover, it's quilted aluminum with diamond windows. Someone get me a bloodhound and a few pounds of beef jerky; this thing is begging to be taken on a road trip.
