That rotary 110 creates in Lowell. No one knows what the f@#k YIELD means, and despite there being like 3 signs for eahch on ram, they DON'T YIELD TO THE CAR IN THE ROTARY!

I've had to slam on my breaks, blast my horn, and flip off dip$h!s more times than I care to remember because they almost ran into instead of yielding.

Park and walk inside? Usually goes quicker anyways.

I usually do (because it is usually faster) but the parking lot was almost full. When I finally got to the window it took her all of about 45 seconds to do the deposit, after I waited for 7:42 for the person in front of me.

People who go to the bank drive-thru and like...set an account up or something that takes equally long and pisses off those of us who would take all of 2 minutes to just have them deposit a check.

It's like people that order the whole menu at a fast food place and then pay with a 100.

The fact that there are now two decent-sized airports within 30 minutes of me, yet I cannot get a direct flight to Chicago, I have to either layover in Atlanta or Minneapolis.

We need a decent national rail service.

You still deposit at a teller?

ATMs accept deposits. With PNC Bank ATMs, you can deposit your check without an envelope. The machine scans the check, deposits it in whichever account you want, and gives you a print out of the scanned image. I do this 10 or 12 times a month and never have problems.

Amtrak need to use the concept of Amtrak California (Which is run y California Department of Transportation or CalTrans) where there are buses that connect to the trains and it basically triples the service area. Amtrak California is home to the 3rd and 5th busiest routes that Amtrak has.

GOP

Democrates

Stupid Greedy CEO's

Lying Green Card upper mgmt that calls RIF (Reduction in Force) a realignment of focus and then deletes my job even though it is the new focus.

People who live here, have lived here for more than a year and still refuse to learn English

States like Oregon that force you to pay more for some moron to pump your gas all because it protects a job, they feel you are not capable of pumping your own gas. Along with telling you what you can and cannot do to your car as the gov knows best.

To mad to go on, will post more later after I cool down. :(

The latest word is that Chicago is going to be the hub for high-speed rail, which I can certainly live with. Problem is, there is no commercial rail service available in Springfield, only along the I-70 corridor (KC to St. Louis) so I'd still have to drive 3 hours to get there. When it gets going, it'll be my preference over flying, since a flight to Chicago costs $250+ and with layovers it takes 6 hours. Driving takes 9 hours, the last 5 of which are incredibly boring.

That's neat that your ATM does scanning. I do ATM deposits but I have to use envelopes. I just put in the amount of the check in the ATM...apparently I am trusting enough to where it makes all the funds available immediately. The envelopes and checks get verified the next business day. I accidentally entered in a lower amount than what the check was for and they automatically gave me the funds when they checked it. I suppose I could deposit an envelope for a much higher amount, withdraw the funds, and flee the country if I wanted. I'll have to keep that one in mind. :P

Hmmm... give up your freedom with a 500 dollar per ATM limit? ;)

Don't forget about the high speed train from Disneyland to Las Vegas!

Also, CA is going to be building HS Rail (or at least we are going to spend money on it as we passed a bond) The only problem is UP is bitching about money for a right of way, especially considering that all of their grade crossings are pretty much going to disappear because of HS Rail which will make their shipping times reduce dramatically.

You're driving on the highway, an interstate or something comparable, and coming closer to the car in front of you. So you get into the left lane, or a 'left-er' lane if the road has more than 2 lanes in one direction. You're now neck-and-neck with the person and even beginning to nose ahead when they suddenly speed up, either gradually or rocketing forward. In fact, they speed up so much that they get a few good car lengths ahead of you and change lanes to the left, so they're back in front of you, and they proceed ahead faster than you. You then sheepishly change lanes back to the right. I don't care much for that.

Another scenario: your friend has a new game for their PC. You hear him talk about it all the time, and whenever you see him on his computer, he's usually playing this game or reading a forum dedicated to it. After a while, you get to play this game for yourself, and take a liking to it. In fact, you like it so much that you download a program that lets you (legally, mind you) purchase and download the game for yourself. The game installs fine and boots up properly, lets you choose a server to play on and even lets you pick the color of your team. You reach the point where you respawn when you're killed, and the then game freezes on you. A quick talk with some of your computer-savvy friends reveals that not only is your graphics card unable to handle the demands of the game, but it is also very expensive and very difficult, borderline dangerous even, to try and replace the motherboard and graphics card on your laptop. Yeah, I really don't care much for that.

I don't much care for people whose desktop wallpapers:

  • Aren't the correct size of the monitor resolution so there's empty space above and below it
  • Are tiny images in the middle of the of the desktop so there's tons of empty space
  • Stretch said tiny image so it becomes a pixelated clusterf@#k.

As a designer, it hurts my eyes every time and just makes me :nono:

I really don't much care lately for:

Women who seem to be about having men on the "how much money will you spend on me while I sit back and offer nothing as I text my little friends in front of you?" hot seat: So many of those make dating a waste of time versus crashing early and keeping all your cash. Many guys like gassing up and paying for the company of high maintenance broads, but I'm not one of them.

Twitter: I thought about how it could probably come in handy, but have realized it's too much of a hassle to currently get preoccupied with.

Reality shows: How many unwatchable, trashy concepts can they come up with simply because they're cheaper to produce and don't need union talent in front of the camera? Most lowbrow television since 90s daytime talk.

The following aspects of porn: spitting and excessive slobbering, obviously fake breasts, gagging, bukkake, a lot of corny talking and cursing, gang bangs, racism, and events and setups that quite clearly aren't inspired to go down in the real world (if ppl weren't paid to go on camera to do it--double entendre). I'm good with anything that is actually hot, but nothing is hot or sexy about any of the aforementioned stuff, it's all actually quite ridiculous, far-fetched, and even exploitative.

Countdown with Keith Olbermann when Keith isn't hosting: The substitutes are blah enough, but Countdown just isn't Countdown without Worst Persons In The World!

FM radio in this town: With 97.1's format flip from FM talk and the real Hip-Hop largely purged from the stations that used to play it, FM has been dead to me the past six months. If I'm not in a car with satellite or listening to my Zune, it's pretty much sports talk.
