So, what happens when you build a Kia based on the Azera's architecture? You get Kia's upcoming flagship sedan. The Kia VG concept has leaked onto the web and will debut at the Seoul Motor Show later this week. Last week's teaser image of the 2010 Kia Sorento was just to whet our appetite, and now new images have surfaced that show big changes are in store for Kia's CUV. The biggest deal is that the Sorento will move from a traditional body-on-frame construction to a unit-body design. The new look is more muscular, following some of the same themes as the sharp looking Forte. As seen on Autoblog. It's funny, without the article, you really can't make out what brand it is...this just as easily could be some GM Epsilon II or a Toyota.. In the article it was thought to be a Hyundai Equus replacement, but they thought it was an Azera-based Kia generic.

Quickening of GMI boards have posted the link where ALL the angles of the un-coverred 2009 Kia Borrego(called the Mohave in Korea) inside and out are posted. Korean market version, but I think this is the first time that EVERY angle of the car has been revealed. Spied: 2009 Kia Mesa Hard to tell if these recent spy photos are really the 2009 Kia Mesa or not, but now that the Hyundai Veracruz has been unveiled it's not much of a stretch to think Kia would want a three row SUV of its own. You can see a few styling cues from the Mesa concept in this prototype like its broad grille and boxy shape. Those six-spoke wheels also look straight out of the Kia/Hyundai parts bin. I usually am pretty good about staying up to date with new model intros and such, but this one isn't even on the manufacturer's website...yet, it has already appeared on a dealer's lot. What is it? The new Kia Rondo crossover. U.S. Kia Plant Groundbreaking Occuring Today The AIADA newsletter reported that Kia Motors President Chung Eui Sun is coming to America this week to attend the groundbreaking ceremony for the automaker's $1 billion assembly plant in West Point, Georgia. The automaker had planned to host the event in April, but plans were delayed when South Korean prosecutors would not allow Chung to travel amid an ongoing investigation by the South Korean government.
