It's not a hideous/goofy smily retard anymore! It looks pretty good now...

...except it now looks like a Santa Fe.

When looking at this refresh, I think that Subaru ended up using the tooling and design for the changes originally put forth by Saab for their stillborn version of this car, especially the headlights and rear 3/4 window.

it gets a solid "eh" from me. It's no longer unique.... not even in a bad way. Now I could mistake it for being a crossover from any asian company

The rear-end looks a lot better too. This is a fairly estensive makerover...even the rear windows behind the rear doors are different.

Chrysler grille anyone?

That's what I immediately thought of as well.

Hmm, good snooping. I think you may be right.

Is the 3.6 liter borrowed from GM ? Or an in house design ? The design looks pretty bland IMO. Really doesn't stand out from other CUV in any meaningful way. But at least it looks decent unlike the Tribeca.

Not a flame... but the Buick is definitely more cohesive of the three...

New T&C front and everything else looks like the Santa Fe, more or less.

It's also the most expensive being that the Enclave starts at $32k without AWD.

Boy, Subaru really seems to have lost their way lately.

This front end is less offensive than the last, yes. But, it's a Chrysler grill?!

Much more pleasing to the eyes, although completely bland now.

Still ugly, though it's much less hideous.

I thought Subaru was trying to establish a "corporate face", but the redesigned Impreza and Tribeca share no cues. This Tribeca revision is far better than the weird snout on the '07, but it has now lost it's identity...just like the Impreza. A disappointment.

Idiots. :banghead:

The Tribeca was a truly unique looker, but they folded and went all mainstream vanilla like everybody else. I've lost a lot of respect for Subaru, just when I had fallen for the Legacy GT sedan. I've loved the Tribeca since it came out, and now it's one of the herd. Good luck finding yours in the Kindercare parking lot... :nono:

The 9-6X looked much better with the Saab grille.

I hate the Chrysler grille.

And one heck of a lot larger w/ a better powertrain and interior.
