Latest Update My wife and her sister wanted to go to Yakima Washington as the Cherry Harvest has officially begun. We like a small family farm that also runs a roadside business selling cherries, apricots and peaches from their farm with an assortment of locally made food items. Prices are pretty cheap compared to retail. The trip is a 321-mile round trip drive over I90, down Highway 82, up into the foothills and back. I plugged in the EV9 so we had a 100% battery pack to start with, we headed out. I was already sitting in the back seat when we arrived to pick up my sister in-law at 6am and realized the space was great looking at how much room I had from my knees to the back of the seat. As my wife loaded up her sister's stuff, it dawned on me that the middle row of seats is fully movable and I went ahead and moved them to their farthest back position gaining even more leg room. We stopped in a little town of Ellensburg for breakfast before heading over to Yakima. My wife always says I have the lead foot in the family for driving fast, but after looking at the Kia app and seeing what the current trip average speed was, I was not surprised to see her averaging a little over 85mph. While at breakfast my wife did comment on how local driving did not use at much power as highway driving. As such, I told her no need to stress, we would stop at the local Walmart in Yakima where an Electrify America station was that had two 350 kW chargers and two 150 kW chargers. We plugged in and went into the Walmart to do some shopping. It took exactly 15 minutes to reach 80% from a starting point 16%. Kia's stated 220kW max charging speed is clearly underrated as I hit 250 kW charging speed with no problem and my Electrify America experience continues to be a very positive one. Noticing that the Fruit stand did not open for another 25 minutes, I continued to let the EV charge reaching 97% battery capacity before we left to head to the fruit stand. Charging cost was a whopping $29 rounding up. Having picked up the fruit that my wife and sister in-law wanted we headed home, dropping her off at her house and then on to our house arriving by 1:40pm after having left the house at 5:30am. Achieved a 321 mile round trip road trip, 12lb boxes of cherries in both frigs in the house. We have now put on 3,151 miles on the EV9 and still loving it. -

How is it running for everyone so far? It seems a lot snappier to me. -
I don't travel anywhere near what you do, but the few I've been so have been horrible. I've never seen even a decent hotel gym.
