Current administration has been doing everything they can to gut the EPA even though Auto companies have stated just push out the MPG standard till 2030 or so giving us time to delivery the results. So the building I work in took away 4 spots on the 1st floor of parking for gas auto's and installed chargers and designated them EV only. I decided to keep an eye on them, empty all day, not a single EV in the spots. Wonder how much we will loose to dedicated EV only parking with chargers before we see this take off and they are always full? Will the Chevy BOLT drive more use of dedicated EV parking and chargers? How about all the other members here, have you seen more and more regular parking converted to EV only parking with chargers?

That the momentum for this change is now self-sustaining and demonstrates how a motivated America is a force to be reckoned with. As these technologies come on line in the field and competition heats up, we may really be on our way to a new age. Seems that since Tesla has signed a contract and started building their auto plant in China, Chinese Lithium suppliers have warmed up to committing to them as a supplier. Google has released an update for the Google Maps Navigation app when searching for Electric Vehicle charging locations. Now when a user searches for a charging location, the app will show how many ports are currently in use out of the total in real time. This way, the driver no longer needs to physically check the location to see if charging is available without a wait. But a new tax cut bill being proposed by House Republicans could eliminate that credit. According to the web site Motor authority, Karma has shipped their first new cars off the assembly line to their 8 dealers.
