Was in the drive thru at Dunkin Donuts this morning, behind a Ford Ecosport. Studying the rear, I realized the portion of the right taillight on the rear door has a door handle built into it... the rear door is side hinged like the old Rav4 on these, i think. But behind me was a more interesting car--a maroon w/ white top early 80s Olds 98 4dr...appeared solid.

The idea for this came to me over dinner. List 5 features of your current daily driver you prefer over your previous daily driver. Then list 5 features of your previous daily driver you prefer over your current daily driver. I'll go first. My current daily driver is a 2014 Jeep Grand Cherokee Limited 4x4 w/ V6 (WK2). I bought it 18 months ago with 25k miles, has almost 40k mile now. My previous daily driver was a 2000 Jeep Grand Cherokee Laredo 4x4 w/ I6 (WJ). I bought it new in 2000, drove until last March. Put 170k miles on it over almost 17 years. Current vehicle preferences: (in no particular order) 1. Quadratrac II. My WJ had a big 4 …

Seems the charts speak for themselves. You can read the story at Jalopnik or go to ISEECARS and read each on individually. American and Asian rule the lowest depreciation on auto's. A few US and Asian auto's but the Germans rule the highest depreciation on auto's. Jalopnik story ISEECARS website

Does any of you play any racing video games/simulators? Which ones? I understand that most of the posters here are old f@rts (not that I am young myself to be honest), but I was wondering if any of you play. Just recently got for my son's birthday Playstation 4 and was considering getting a wheel and pedal setup to play Project Cars 2.

I guess I'll start this month off. 1977 Caprice Classic sedan in light green, perfect condition, driven in traffic yesterday. I remember how excited I was in the autumn of 1976, (I was 12 years old and a complete car FREAK) to see the brand new, smaller and very good looking GM B, C and D-bodies hit the streets. First one I saw on the road back then... was a yellow Electra 225 with tan vinyl top. I think I freaked my grandparents out with my hoops and hollers that day.

Many brands are now featuring what I call the "laptop left open" look atop the center stack of newer vehicles. Mazda is doing this, and some German marques are doing this, too. It appears that the new Ford Focus will also feature it. Mazda 6 (?) BMW 3 series 2019 Ford Focus The Malibu has it, sort of, but it looks fairly well integrated. Latest Malibu I do not like most of them. I can handle it on the Malibu. It may be convenient but, in most cases, it looks ugly ... to me.

Good evening! Its been a while since Ive posted outside the Merchandise forum. My lease on my '17 Traverse is coming to an end in the next couple months. Once again, I am not finding many good deals on GM vehicles at the moment. I am holding out a little longer, to see how incentives go. I just cant fathom that the same trim level Traverse in the new body style is ~125-150 more a month. Last time I ran into this with the car, I ended up buying a Charger since I couldnt get what I wanted from GM. Now on my third Charger, I dont regret it. I have been seeing ads for the new '19 Ram with a great lease price. Could I end up with no GM vehicles in the next two mo…

I took a drive east up the Lake Erie coast towards the PA line, visiting a couple wineries and a couple of my favorite beaches..beautiful and sunny, but too hot (85). There was a VW cruise-in show in Geneva-on-the-Lake, saw dozens of vintage Beetles, buses, modern GTIs, etc in stock and restomod forms....maybe my favorite car of the day, though was a very clean gray w/ no vinyl top '71 Buick Electra 225 4dr ht. It needed whitewalls and some interior work, but appeared rust free. Another favorite was a bright red w/ matching steel wheels '72 Chevy Bel Air 4dr sedan..very clean, appeared rust free also. Saw a white '64 Ford Fairlane 2dr ht parked in a driveway, a dar…

It's been a while since I've last checked in so here's a short update since my last post. After a little over 2 years with Car and Driver, I am now back on the hunt for employment/trying to get back into the grind as a freelancer. Unfortunately, my position (and a dozen others) was cut two weeks ago due to a restructuring effort. It was sudden and completely unexpected for those who were let go and those who weren't. While I'm sad to leave the company, I'm remaining positive with the hope that better opportunities lie ahead and wish everyone there well. I couldn't have asked for better coworkers. That said, I'm still in Michigan—For now. Josh and I have been m…

Well, it's the 1st of August. Seen anything you care to share, describe, and/or have photographed? Have at it. Today, I was driving down a major street with two traffic lanes in each direction that had residential homes on each side of it. I was in the right hand lane. Following me along in traffic in the left hand lane was a silver 2002-2003ish Olds Alero coupe. It sounded pretty good as it accelerated in the stop and go traffic. At a certain point, the traffic was stopped in front of a house with a silver 2002-2003ish Olds Alero sedan. At this point, these two silver Olds Aleros were perpendicular to each other. It was funny to me because just last night…

Found this story on Jalopnik and thought we should have a lively debate on if this is accurate or not. https://jalopnik.com/screw-you-carmakers-you-dont-get-to-ruin-the-word-co-1827480939 To quote the story: The word “coupe” comes from the French word “couper,” which means “to cut” because a coupe was a sort of “cut down” version of a car: smaller, leaner, lighter, sportier, shorter, and, significantly, less doors. As in two where the non-coupe version of the car would have had four. Do you go with the change in definition of what a Coupe is or do you still agree that this is a true coupe?

We'll more and more evidence that we are heading towards a bear market. https://www.marketwatch.com/story/the-next-bear-market-in-stocks-will-spark-a-retirement-crisis-2018-06-27 Social Security has started to tap trust funds that will run out by 2034. Medicare has increased using trust funds that are expected to be depleted by 2026. End result is both programs are expected to be insolvent and the gov continues to increase spending on defense over taking care of the country. 10,000 baby boomers retire every day making this an even bigger uglier mess. We are in the 10th year by some of a bull market that has quadrupled since March 2009 with an…

Seems that Lego has felt we need a new Supercar in our stable at a cost of $400 for the 3,599 piece kit per their newest news release. https://www.lego.com/en-us/aboutus/news-room/2018/june/lego-technic-bugatti-chiron/ The 1:8 scale LEGO Technic Bugatti Chiron is over 5" tall, 22" long and 9" wide or 14cm high, 56cm long and 25cm wide for our metric friends. Crazy but this model has a fully moving engine, transmission, wheels, and so much more. As to be expected you have an 8-speed gearbox with paddle shifters on the steering wheel with the iconic Bugatti logo. http://legoexternal.23video.com/video/27694211/2018-lego-technic-bugatti-chiron-revealmp4 ht…

You always wanted to drive. EVERYONE has that one car they've either seen, read about, knew someone had (Personally or at the office complex/on the block/etc.) that they've always wanted to drive and experience, but haven't yet for whatever reason (Like dealers not letting you unless you're actually gonna buy it) Got a lot of cars, but to keep it simple, gonna list... Mk2 TT RS! Even before I owned a Mk1 225 Roadster, even before I drove a mk2 3.2 and was disappointed with it's jelly soft clutch, always loved this beast and would love to own one! While I'm new here, should be picked up on I'm a manual guy,…

I figure there are many cars that we all can agree on or at least personally feel never got the chance to live, that were cancelled when they were nice and could of been reconfigured rather than discarded. Of course, it's easy to say "Oh, bring back X and call it a day", I'm gonna up the ante a bit and ask what should be done, and to start, gonna bring in the American Roadsters from our favorite General: The Kappa twins themselves! Now, I understand the platform costed them $$$, and it wasn't exactly a Miata slayer, but I feel like now, people are starting to notice them again and they did have potential, whether it'd be en…

So, parents are away for an extended period of time. I try to drive their 2013 LaCrosse once every week or two just to move it around. Today something odd happened... started it up, and the first things I noticed is there was no gauge sweep and the animation for the LCD screen between the tach/speedometer was out of sync with the animation on the radio's screen. I figured, no big deal. I put the car in reverse, reverse camera comes on, sensors pick up that a girl is walking past the car on her way to the bus stop, everything is normal. I back up, shift into drive, and start going along my way. About a minute into the drive, the radio screen goes black, reboo…

Just for kicks ~ Take what you paid for your daily driver, then look up it's trade in average value on kbb.com. Take that difference (your vehicle's depreciation), and divide it by the miles you've driven it (to the nearest 500 or 1000 should be fine). This gives you a cost per mile for ownership (obviously separate from maintenance/repairs). Me ~ '04 Silverado 2500HD, $15035 difference, 133K miles = 11 cents/mile.

Haven't seen much memorable in the last week. Looking forward to Spring, this winter weather is hanging around too long...33 and flurries today. Saw a gold Chevy Express panel van with the license plate 'I DO HVAC'...clever call out to their occupation, presumably. Also saw a late model silver Subaru Impreza with lot of surface rust on the hood...odd.

Just recently, I went to look at the fresh new car version of a car I have rented. I wanted to see the sticker, sit in it, check visibility, yada yada. The kid helping me was really nice and I didn't want to take up much of his time. He added, "It sounds like you really want to drive this car." I told him, "Not today." We unlocked it, I sat in it, turned on the engine, and got a feel for the controls. I also looked at the trunk. That was all I needed. I also took a brochure. As I'm about to leave, he says, "If you've got a couple of minutes, there's someone I'd like you to meet." *Cue to leave, in my book* I told him that I didn't have the time and headed f…

... has the company built since Day 1?? Googled the question, saw one estimate of 500 million. Don't know if that source was GM or if GM even has an accurate count. Overseas markets and the confusion of partial brand ownership, etc in the latter half of the Company's history may make a comprehensive tally a challenge. All the years from the Sloan book referenced below are CALENDAR year sales. These numbers are less common than model year, and it makes the transition to those more readily-obtainable numbers inaccurate for that switch-over. 1909 : 32,311 (fiscal year ending 09.30.09 plus 3 months ending 12.31.09) ~ My Years with General Motors, Alfred P Sloan…

A thread about cars you used to not like and now like. Or. About cars you used to like but now dont like. I felt I needed to come back and write about a car. This is more written for @Frisky Dingo as we go back a long time and I felt I needed to tell him that as of today, I like the McLaren F1. I didnt like this car then, but I stumbled on Jay Leno's garage and instantly, I have feelings for it. Enough for me to try and buy a 1:18 scale of it to add it to my collection. I didnt need Jay Leno to tell me all that as I KNEW what the McLaren was all about... What I did NOT know was that it won Lemans 24 h…

Okay, the last one didn't go over well. Maybe people didn't feel like they had enough to pick from. This one will rectify that. We will use new intro 2018 models this go-round, of which there are plenty! Rules- 1) New cars only, must be CONFIRMED for 2018 MY. No 2019's, no 2017's, no upcoming models that aren't official yet. 2) Choices must be either ALL NEW or SIGNIFICANTLY updated. 3) Maximum of 5 choices. 4) These are your only vehicles. That's it!!

So the last few 'DG' threads got a little action, so here's a new one for you guys. A very simple, but challenging one. Only cars/trucks/SUV's that were discontinued/overhauled in for the 2018 MY are eligible. Rules- 1) Maximum of 5 choices 2) Only 2017 Model Year vehicles can be chosen 3) Your choices must have had 2017 be the last availability 4) Your choices must be models that received ALL NEW replacements in 2018, or were discontinued entirely 5) Any market is allowed 6) These are your only vehicles Enjoy!

Okay, you probably all knew this one was coming. Yep, we're doing used cars this time. The eternal debate of new vs used will continue to rage, but there's no denying there are bombshell deals on the used market. Cars today depreciate faster than ever, and it puts awesome cars in tangible reach for a lot of enthusiasts. Whether you want a once 6 figure mega lux sedan, or an overlooked performance car that is a hidden gem, they are out there. Rules are simple- 1) USED cars only, must be 2017 MY or older. 2) Maximum of five choices. 3) These are your only vehicles. 4) Choices must be realistic. No crazy low priced scam listings, salvage title c…

So, to expand on the first part of this, we are doing something a little different. In Part 1, you had a total to spend using the New Car Average Transaction Price multiplied to cover 5 vehicles. This round, you will be limited to a per car amount of $36,495. There is no limit to how cheap your selections can be, but they can't be any more than the average price. Rules- 1) Must be New cars on sale NOW 2017 or 2018 Model Year 2) Cars must be available in YOUR market 3) These are your only vehicles 4) You are granted 5 choices 5) I will allow ONE non-mainstream production car- motorcycle, trike, side-x-side, etc 6) MSRP can be NO MO…

• We bought our '11 Jeep Liberty in Feb of 2016, with 53K miles. Not a single problem to date, not a fancy vehicle, but everyone here likes driving it fine. Now has 80K. Going to keep it, my one son is it's regular driver. • Wife's 2009 Malibu LT was bought new. Between GM card cash, sale discount (1500), and a Cash for Clunker trade (4600), the $25K sticker came down to the low $17K's. It's been a very good little sedan, a few very minor things plus the normal maintenance. Currently has 127K on it. Other than a few dings and some curb rash on the pass-side alloys, it's in good physical shape. Mechanically it could use front struts. On to this morning... checked…

Rules- 1) You must have 5 vehicles. 2) Vehicles must be New 2017 or 2018 MY on sale NOW. 3) Must be for sale in YOUR market. 4) Price is based off MSRP. 5) There is no limit to the individual prices- HOWEVER, you must keep the total amount spent less than $182,475 to keep the per car average at the $36,495 …

It seems like many folks are either in a state of disbelief or a state of indifference with regard to the breaches, namely the Equifax breach, among others. So, 143 million were impacted and our population is now probably around 325 million. When you remove the under 21 crowd, the elderly on limited incomes who aren't doing much with credit, and folks who don't have much input into their credit reports because they don't use it, that's almost all Americans between 30 and 70. Their investigating the situation was big news at the very beginning but I haven't heard much about it. I don't believe that the company's stock took much of a hit. Then, on the heels of that…

I haven't seen many movies lately but the last one I saw was "The Commuter." Blame it on bargain Tuesday. I looked at the reviews and they were lukewarm. I went to see it and enjoyed it. It was sort of like "Unstoppable" (2010). It was probably also like "The Taking of Pelham 123," which I never saw. Has anyone seen it? The review said that it was predictable. I disagree. I didn't know who it could be until the very end. In fact, it's one of those movies you have to analyze backwards, sort of like film noir "Body Heat," where the pieces all make sense when looked at in the rear view mirror. If you've seen it, did you feel that more fleshing out of the d…

OK, this is the current condition of these 2 rides. The finned wonder is my '59 Invicta, the other is my brother's '71 GTO 4-spd. I am head of him in the process: all metal work is completed and in epoxy primer, and the shell is back on the refurbished frame. Front & RR suspension is done, as is my rear axle. I also have a bunch of the new parts, and a bunch of cosmetically restored parts. My brother may or may not be done with metal repair- I think the floors still need work. Also, his frame is untouched yet, but there is a TON more repro parts available for the '71. He also has 2 lifts at his house We have an unofficial bet on which gets their car done first.…

EV Trucks / SUVs Designs - New Revolution of Style? With the Detroit auto show and the new trucks and SUV's that are coming out, this had me thinking as many comments especially in regards to the car side has been about how HOMOGENIZED the auto style has become! We have the Pro ICE crowd, Pro EV crowd, Pro all of it crowd and with the discussions, it got me thinking about the fact of truck / SUVs style. It is not a question of if, but when we will see EV trucks / SUVs become part of the blend of options on the dealer lot. EV auto's offer a whole new range of style as unlike ICE auto's that must have the airflow for cooling, EV's are needing a different set …

Well, that was a fast year. Here are some of the things that happened in 2017: A new American President was sworn into office and found to be a truth-challenged, serial golfing narcissist whose primary goal appeared to be undoing all the achievements of his predecessor. His own crowning achievement was a windfall of wealth to corporate America and its officers at the expense of the lower and middle classes, future generations, and blue states. A series of hurricanes swept through the Gulf of Mexico and ravaged Florida, Texas, and Puerto Rico, resulting in hundreds of billions of dollars in damages. The country's deadliest mass shooting occurred in Las Vegas a…

What are your New Year's Eve and New Year's Day Traditions? Since I am starting this off, I will tell you what Mine are, been the same for the last 26 years of Marriage. I am married to a Korean and they have very specific things that are done. We start off with a Korean Pot sticker making party in the first week of Dec. Make hundreds, people who help get some to take home, most are kept for use in what is called Korean New Year's Day Soup. We then start on the 26th and make a ton of homemade Beef broth with flank steak in it that is then shredded. We also make a wide variety of Korean side dishes from scratch. This takes multiple days as to why we …

Happy Holidays to all this 2017! We have all had our take on the auto industry and much more this year, it has been one for the history books and it now looks to be the start of an industry changing year as the success of the Chevy Bolt, start of rough production for Tesla 3 and so many new options as the industry moves from cars to CUVs and an exciting Detroit auto show ahead of us. Just wanted to take a few minutes to say thank you to all that have made Cheers and Gears such an entertaining and awesome place to talk about the auto industry. Way too many people to thank each one individually but want to say; Happy Holidays and Happy New Year to you all!

The talk in the 2019 Mercedes-Benz G-Class thread got me thinking about SUVs for me. I want something big and comfortable with lots of torque. Prefer CPO to have a warranty and not deal with severe depreciation. Should have a 6,000lb minimum tow rating (Not that I tow, but that rating requires a tongue weight rating of 600lbs which is needed for a Mototote) I like cushy rides. Thoughts are: Jeep Grand Cherokee with air suspension Escalade/Yukon/Tahoe SWB XC90 doesn't have a high enough rating, but I do like it. What else am I forgetting?

I don't know that I have ever started one of these, but I didn't see a December edition. Parked my Charger between a Tesla Model S & a Fisker Karma.\ Then Friday saw a CT6 with a Chinese character badge on the trunk under a "4.0 T" badge.

The strangest of thoughts came to me today when I went to pick up my daughter from the bus stop this afternoon. It wasnt at the bus stop per se that this vision and thought popped into my head, but rather at the grocery store parking lot when we stopped to pick up a few items. What I saw is this: A shiny new fiery red Chevy Volt And parked right behind it, was an Acura Integra. Dont know what year it was as miniminal changes were made during its lifetime, I know the front clip was refreshed, and this particular car was of the pre-refreshed front clip...but my memory eludes me to when this happened so that is why I went with 1997. Sounds good whe…

Currently have a car up for auction. Was contacted by eBay member who wants to bid, but is in Sweden. Auction ad states $500 deposit due within 48 hrs, balance in cash when picking up car. This potential buyer has been on eBay since 2015, has a 100% positive feedback but it only numbers (4). He gave his name, same named person in Sweden has a FB page, there are a few pics of cars there; apparently he recently sold a '58 Lincoln. He asked/offered other ways of payment, asked about bank transfer or paying in full thru PayPal. - - - - - There's no way for an in-full payment thru PP to go awry, is there? This is not a pure Dream Garage Thread game we usually play. There are no rules in this one. No maximum amount of cars to dream up. There are no rules. This is just a thread to which I am asking the Cheers and Gears community what dream car or cars (trucks, motorcycles, anything that goes) would you restomod and/or pro-tour and what do those mods include? Engine choices and the like. It could be new engines in old cars. It could be old engines in new cars. It could be sacrilegious engine swaps. I believe that if an owner sees a vision for his ride...then its AWESOME if that owner sees his vision through. Example: Bill Mitchel wante…

NAFTA The latest rounds of the renegotiation talks have started, and they have an emphasis on U.S. demanding new content rules. Just to summarize, the U.S. wants more domestic content, which means NAFTA region countries, and 50% mandatory U.S. content, just to name a few of the changes. This hopefully isn't too political of an issue, it's more to do with how you feel about the rules should be for automakers and their suppliers doing business in America, Canada and Mexico. I think the U.S. demands - on paper, atleast are fair. U.S. is the largest market for autos in NAFTA region. I want to hear more of just how you feel about this issue. Feel free to so…

Bought the '11 Jeep Liberty i think it'll be 2 years in Feb. It just turned 75K, has had zero issues. Its not fancy but everyone here enjoys driving it. Right now my older son is using it, he lives about 50 mins north of me & comes down to work w/ me during most weeks. My younger son is about 2 hrs north of me, in school in NYState. He lives on campus, but will be interning nxt semester & will need wheels. We have not shopped yet & need to get on the ball. Have not set a budget, thinking recent CPO, small, efficient, AWD would likely be good where he is (the Hudson Valley is very hilly country). I prefer to buy from a U.S. brand only. I welcome sugge…

Need some tow hitch advice: I want to put a motorcycle carrier on the back of an Avalanche. The carrier is rated for a 600 lb bike and weighs 97 pounds itself. One of these: http://amzn.to/2x1Hkc0 The bike I want to put on there is 485 fully fueled for a total weight of 582 after adding the carrier. I know much is made about tongue weight when towing, but I'm not really towing in this case, it's really just a platform with a bike riding on it. Can I put this setup on an Avalanche with a 500 lbs max tongue weight? The max tongue weight with a weight distributing hitch (which is not possible in this scenario) is at least 800lbs depending on setup, so the meta…

Took a drive along the Lake Erie coastline through various small towns out to the Marblehead Peninsula to see the lighthouse...stormy weather, 60 degrees but looked more like a November storm at sea. Didn't see too many interesting cars, but one that I noticed in particular was a '71 Chevelle--pale yellow w/ a black vinyl top--was going slowly on a street in Sandusky and making horrible grinding sounds like the driver was struggling to get it in gear.

Fake news has been in the press a lot lately, so I figured let's generate some of our own. Rules: 1. It has to be automotive related, no politics, not even a hint of politics. 2. It has to be plausible enough to be believable by someone who isn't a car enthusiast. (I.E., no Tucker is not resuming operations, no GM is not reviving Pontiac) 3. Write it as if it were a press release or news announcement.

Drew wanted this one, so I'm obliging him and I expect great things!! This one will use odd engine layouts, regardless of size, aspiration, cylinder count, power, etc. They just must be an odd layout. Rules- 1) These are your only vehicles. 2) Must have been semi-street legal and production. I say this because I know there were some pretty odd creations back in the 10s, 20s, 30s that really straddle this line. Use good judgement here. No racecars, pure concepts, etc. 3) Must have an unconventional layout- that means NOT a V, not an H, and not an I configuration. You can use a W, a Slant, a radial, rotary, whatever. 4) Any era and market is allowed…

Rules- 1- Choices must be NO MORE than 4.0 liters of displacement. 2- Choices MUST BE FORCED INDUCTION. That means, turbocharged, supercharged, or some combination of those two. 3- Any number of cylinders, engine layout, and placement is allowed. 4- Only pure GAS or DIESEL. NO HYBRIDS. 5- Production cars only. 6- Any era and market is allowed. 7- These are your only vehicles. 8- You 5 choices. As usual, once you do a Top 5, you can expand to 10. …

Okay, so this is going to be a somewhat smaller pool to draw from, but I thought this one would really make people explore and maybe uncover some previously unknown gems. I hope everyone enjoys it. Rules- 1) Production vehicles only. 2) Any era and market is allowed. 3) These are your only cars. 4) Vehicles MUST be a cylinder count previously not featured, or some other form of ICE. Ie- 3 cyl, 5 cyl, 16, cyl, rotary, etc. 5) Maximum of 5 choices, but you can expand beyond your top 5 to 10 if you wish. 6) No hybrids. Fully gas engines.

Let's play a game of car scrabble connecting model names and rebuilds. Rules: 1. You can connect cars by model name to model name of a different brand, model name to trim name of a different brand, model to model of the same brand but different generations, or from model to model via rebadge. You show the connections with N> for name, Y> for year, or R> for rebadge. 2. You can connect 2 cars by model name as long as they do not share a brand name and get 2 points .(Example: Edsel Citation N> Chevy Citation). You can connect names that have slightly different spelling as long as the name is pronounced the same, major changes in name structure…

In this dream car garage, the rules are very simple. You will bring 5 cars and 5 local restaurants you will drive your choice of car to for an interesting meal. For the restaurants, only rule is no national chains-family owned or small local chain only. Restaurant should be local to where you live...say within 50 miles or so of your home. For the cars, any era any market is allowed, any price-just needs to fit the bill below. Car #1-American Muscle car, American traditional restaurant of some sort. Car #2, Italian car, Italian food-for those who do not like Imports, you may substitute an American car. Car #3. Vintage 4 Door sedan of some sor…

Alright, we have reached the pinnacle of engines in terms of how many cylinders are stuffed in a block in widely produced cars. Although this has primarily been the stomping grounds of European brands in late years, there WERE other brands than made V12's. Cadillac, Lincoln, and Toyota among them. The rules are the usual and as follows- 1) Production cars only 2) Any era and market is allowed. 3) These are your only vehicles. 4) Cars must have 12 cylinders, obviously. NO HYBRIDS!! 5) You have 5 choices. After creating a top 5 list, you may expand it to 10. Enjoy.

I have another challenging Dream car garage to post or two...but for today the easiest one yet. Next 3-New 2017 cars you would buy, 50 grand to 125 grand... Next 3-used cars you would buy, any market any era, just must be street legal. that is it-although i would like to see different cars than we usually post up. Challenger and Raptor ahve had a lot of exposure in dream car garage, looking for whatever else you all can come up with. Last car-#10-Anything street legal on the …

Rules- 1) Production vehicles only. 2) Any era and market is allowed. 3) These are your only vehicles. 4) Must be 10 cylinder. 5) You can pick 5 vehicles. Or Dodge. 10 cars any era, any concepts, anything from that brand. 2. No corporate sister brands are allowed. 3. These are your garage queen, museum grade show cars and/or Sunday drivers and/or daily drivers. 4. Have fun!

First off, I'm loving all the other threads, and the participation!! With that said, this is the third and final DG thread I came up with based on the 4th of July. It's a day in celebration of independence. This installment is based on that, stand alone maker's independence from huge corporate umbrellas. The premise is simple you will only be allowed to choose from vehicles that came from manfacturers that were completely autonomous at the time. That means no Chevys post-GM. No Ferrari's or Chryslers after FCA. No Dodges after ChryCo merger. No post-Audi Lambos. No post-VW Porsches, etc, etc. Rules- 1) Maximum of 10 vehicles, as with o…

Anything else on the planet that is self propelled and can travel across land using wheels or tracks (as in rails like a train or tracked vehicles like tanks and bulldozers) and carry a passenger or driver is eligible. In terms of Trucks...anything commercial or historical or out of the ordinary is allowed.
