Hi there, I have a 1998 Lumina LTZ with 134,000 miles. I get the oil changes about every 3-6k miles, usually closer to 6 than 3. I have a dummy "change oil soon" light that comes on pretty much every time I start the car - even the day I get the oil changed. It's stays on for a couple a minutes and then goes off. The guy at the shop said the sensor measures the oil viscosity - so if it is brand new oil what is the problem? Is this just a faulty sensor on a old car? Anything I can do about it? Also, is there a quick fix for rusty rotors? I got my brakes done fairly recently but they are a bit rusty and squeak, wondering if there is something simple I can do. Thanks

So, on the Cutlass, I notice that it idles faster than what I would think it should. Having no tach, I can't be sure, but it sounds like it's idling between 1.5k and 2k RPMs. As well, when you shut it off, it continues to try to run. I've read that a fast idle can cause that. Does anyone know how the idle can be adjusted? Or any other causes for it to continue to run like that? Any help is appreciated.

For my pontiac 1994 sunbird 2.0 sohc, my water pump started dumping out antifreeze today. I know parts aren't expensive but how much should I expect a shop to replace it for. I figure do the timing belt at the same time as well since they have to take it off anyway right? I hope its not over $500.00 because thats all I'm willing to spend and I don't feel like trying to fix it myself since I don't have much time.

Some problems on our cars I thought I'd ask about... The first is on my Granddad's 2007 Impala LS (Optioned out just like ours except it's black). (as he describes it to me) When the car is warmed up and has been running for a bit, and the air conditioner is off, there is a a Rotten Egg smell coming through the vents with the air. When the air conditioner is on (recirc) or when the fan is off, the smell isn't there. The next few are on my G5: -When the car is off for a bit the gauges have a tendency to move up and down all by themselves for a while every once in a while. The best way to describe it is that the gauges are having siezures. -The car makes a b…

Since I have to replace the entire exhaust from the Y-pipe back, I'm starting my research on mufflers now. I really dislike the Flowmaster that is on there now. It's fun for about 30 seconds and then it gets annoying with all the droning going on, particularly at highway speeds. Any breathing problems the 307 has are clear the other end of the car, so I'm not particularly concerned with a high flow unit. What I need is a 2 1/4" inlet and dual 2 1/4" outlet in the quietest muffler I can find. I do plan to go back to the resonators the car originally shipped with, but two of them this time. (I like the look of the dual exhaust.

i know someone else that's had this problem... i guessing it's happened " a lot" my gauge only can work sitting still. it's usually full , but letting it sit on hills it will read correctly, or sometimes sitting still ie, at a light, it will correct itself, slowly. shifting to nuetral will make the needle move quickly if it was working just seconds before, if it stays in gear it moves much slower. my friend had a GP that did this swapped out the sending unit/pump and didn't solve it... so it's probably a ground issue somewhere. has anyone heard anything about this, a common place to find the problem? it's been like this for a few years now... so i'm used to it…

Does anyone know where one my buy the male GM speaker plugs (the ones on the speaker)? When I install aftermarket speakers, I prefer to wire these onto the new speakers, rather than chop up the door harness and/or make the speaker permanently attached to the door. To the best of my knowledge, GM has used the same plug setup for years, but I am tired of cutting them off blown speakers at the junkyard when I need them.

The other day a old line snapped on my 85 Riviera. I took it in even though i could of ran a new line because i thought i would save the stress of doing it myself. When i got it back it felt pretty good. Then after a few weeks the petal felt spongy. Then I took a look in the reservoir, there was no brake fluid left in the rear section. I looked around for leaks and i found where it was coming from. At the proportioning valve the dumbass that orked on my car didn't even have it more then hand tightened on and not just one line but all three. I think from now on I will work on my own brakes and trust myself.

I've got just shy of 90,000 km on the Cobalt now. It's time to take it in and get the winter tires on it. Aside from the oil (obviously), and the wiper blades, everything is factory. The brakes have not hit the screech strip yet. The tires even still have tread a few millimeters above the wear bars. So I'm wondering - should I just go ahead and replace my brake pads? Should I get any other brake service done at the same time? Should I look into replacing the shocks? Also, is a few millimeters of tread above the wear bar worth the time and money of saving the tires and putting them back on the rims next year, or should I just chuck them and buy new summer tires next spr…

OK, let's say, hypothetically, you found a truck on craigslist that looked kind of like this: And let's say those stripes were vinyl, and you didn't like them and wanted them removed. Assuming the paint doesn't get damaged while removing the stripes. what's the likelihood that there would be any kind of permanent damage to the paint just by the stipes being there? About how much would a professional outfit charge to remove them, and does such a place exist?

Hey Everybody, I'm wondering if anyone has experienced the same issue as we have. We have a 2000 Monte Carlo (88K miles). It's been a relentlessly reliable vehicle for the whole family since 1999, requiring no repairs (besides the typical W body ISS lube issue and constantly warped rotors). But, a really annoying issue has popped up: the factory-installed keyless entry system is being really tempermental. Rarely, it does work consistently all day. But most days, it works once and then ignores the signal for about 5 minutes. For example, if you open the trunk w/the remote to put groceries in, you'll have to unlock the driver's door manually w/ the key, or wait 5 min…

Real quick: There should be a gasket where a master cylinder meets the firewall on a car such as my Cutlass, correct? Today I got a new master cylinder, the root of all of my brake woes, and the leak is still there. When I removed the old master cylinder, there wasn't any gasket in the area I've described, so I'm leaning towards no as being the answer to my question, but I still have some cause to think a gasket might go there.

As you may have read in my thread in the lounge, I'm looking at purchasing a 1994 Fleetwood which has been sitting for about a year and a half without being driven. I'm concerned that despite a proper inspection and whatnot that this could bite me on the behind later so I'd just like to be sure of what I'd be looking at replacing. I know the tires would be replaced by me sooner rather than later with a new set of Hankook Mileage Plus II whitewalls but for all I know they could be dry rotted now. The thing will be inspected and compression tested before I buy it, and it runs and drives fine now according to the seller. Haven't had a chance to drive it yet. Obviously t…

Hi All, I have been reading through the forum on several topics, and one that really caught my attention was the tranny issues. My 09 GMC has either a 80 or a 90 trans., I do not have my paperwork with me, and I do not remember. Here are my questions. My tranny has a temp moitor and what shold it run and what is the max temp before issues start? I do not know where the reading is taken from, and I assume that would be important too. It has a factory installed cooler and it is in fromt of the radiator on one side and the engine oil cooler is on the other side, I believe. All that came with the trailering package. 2nd question is this, since the trans. comes with Dextr…

I think my 99 Buick Park Avenue Ultra just died. One night, just before I got home, a pulley snaps off and the engine loses power. It is at the top of the 3800SC engine, all the way up front. Yes, I got it towed home, which was only a few blocks away. When I described the problem to a service guy at Pep Boys, he said to bring it in and they can replace that pulley. I get a call 90 minutes before the appointment that the supercharger locked up and that will also need to be replaced. Not just the pulley and the regulator attached to it. What was going to be a $400 job turned into about a $3000 job, because the entire SC had to be replaced. That is only because the S…

In my 99 Monte carlo 3.1L with 133k on it. been occuring for for the last 2 years maybe... this is in Southeast Missouri symptom: shudders at times, like a cylinder missfired ( best i can describe it at the moment) History: - the past winter(2 years ago i think) service engine light came on - went to auto zone, cylinder 4 misfire code, replaced wires at that time , no proof that did much - misfire code came on again last year during winter (pretty sure) did nothing - assumed misfire code 2 times in the past month, early month and late month - trans never serviced to my knowledge, but fluid is still at "full" level, bought second hand (the…

Okay, so it's no secret that my ass is quite lazy. Remember that miss at idle? I never did attempt to fix it. It only did it during idle and it never gave me any problems since... until now, that is. It now misses while there's a heavy load on the engine, especially in lower RPMs during acceleration. Going up hills will just kill it, as it will begin to miss and cause it to be nearly powerless with a bit of shaking. Luckily, I'm able to shift down by the push of a button without accelerating and avoid bogging down. One thing I just recently noticed (never thought about it before, stupid me) is that it will only miss once the engine is up to operating temperature. Now, I r…

Just curious what would cause a power window to intermittently malfunction in my Buick... it's the driver's side rear window, and it goes up and down perfectly, but about every other time, it'll stop about an inch from the top when raising it. Never a problem going down. And when it stops, all I have to do is lower the window again an inch or two and hit up and it closes all the way. Any ideas? No other problems with any of the windows in the car.

Hey guys, I was always kinda curious to know exactly where the engines and tranmissions in my rides are from. I mean I know that the Impala was put together by the nice people up in Oshawa, and my truck was built in Atlanta, but what kind of information would I need to know where the transmission and engine were produced. I'm fairly certain that they weren't built on site, but I guess I could be wrong. If anyone happens to know, then I'd love to see an answer.

OK, so here's the deal. On my Bonneville ('01 SLE), I've been unable to engage the parking brake since I got the car. I don't know if there's anything wrong with the cables or anything... ...but what I have found is that there's some kind of obstruction that keeps the pedal from traveling at all... almost like it was disassembled and then put back together wrong. Look at the uploaded picture... the piece right in the middle is what's blocked from traveling anywhere by the metal piece right behind it. Hey guys, Do you know if it is possible to add steering wheel-mounted audio controls to the new body style 2007 Chevy Silverado without the convenience package because I am looking at at truck that doesn't have it equipped. My wife purchased a 2003 Envoy brand new and it has always had problems with overflowing at the gas pump. It doesn't happen all the time, so I can't seem to figure out if it is just the position of the pump spout, or a defect part. Hello, My housemate has a 92 Skylark (3300) that stalls when the car is up to temp, coming to a stop. At first I thought it could be a bad ignition control module so I replaced that today. I thought at first it was the IAC valve, but that would happen even in neutral. We'll see if the ICM fixes it, but I was wondering if anyone has any other thoughts on the issue. Also, his service engine soon light is on. Is there a way I can check the codes myself without having to go to the parts store? Is there somewhere I can jump the connections so the codes flash back at me? TIA!

Last month I picked up a crankshaft for the Corvette. It was advertised as a NOS 396/427 crank and has the correct casting numbers. Late last night, I get an email from someone who bought a crank from the same guy. I've got the GM 4T65-E transaxle in my LaCrosse. Whether on this car or my last car (4T60 transaxle), I've never had a transmission flush, where they leave the pan/gasket/filter alone. I've always had them drain and refill the transmission, and have them change the filter and check the pan and gasket in the process. I am aware that that leaves some old fluid in the torque converter. However, an old school GM advisor told me that doing "drain and fill" with the pan and gasket dropped every couple of years - 25,000 or 30,000 miles - is as good as doing the full flush with the machine less often. He said the "drain and fill" is easier on the transmission. …

I used a K&N air filter in my previous ride, the leased 2006 Lacrosse, from 2,000 miles to 35,000 miles. During this time I cleaned it several times and it performed fine. I did not experience the parade of horribles others forewarned - such as messing up the MAP sensor. I think I did a pretty good job of oiling the filter right, without exceeding what was required of a recharge. It seemed to me that the car got better mileage with the filter in. Should I get one for my new ride? It has 3,500 miles on it now and I am thinking whether I should K&N or not.

After some process of elimination, I am almost certain that my Regal, a 1992 W-body, needs at least one motor mount. (I think I asked a similar question before, but now I'm more convinced). If I'm going to do this, I want the engine/trans mounting system to have new mounts all around. Is this an easy thing to do via a visual inspection/are they "easy" to see? Ok, you guys were pretty responsive on the other questions, now I've got a few more. I'm ordering the truck this week and wanted to run the final specs by you guys. First, a little background: I'll be purchasing the truck, and shortly after I recieve it, it will go into the shop for a 6" or 8" Pro Comp suspension lift, and to be fitted with some 35" tires. I was originally going to order the truck with the 3.73 rear end, but have heard that I need to go with the 4.10 rear end instead due to the bigger tires. I don't need the truck to smoke the tires or have lots of holeshot, but I don't want it to totally be a pig either. What do you guys think? 3.73 or 4.10??? …

what would you assume would be a rough change in gas mileage with one some where relating to the hvac flap controls? i could usually get ~29-30 in practically the same driving as what i'm doing now in warm weather, .. my last tank i got 25.75 mpg... it's been getting into the 20's and the last few days the 10's at night, here highs of 30ish i haven't been idling my car much at all to warm-up, maybe a total of 5 mins for the whole tank, of actually done on purpose. side question, would a temp gauge reading of ~140 instead of 180 affect it much too? my temp gauge has been this way for several years though. before i got this driving cycle my typical was 19-20 mpg when…

Not really sure what's going on. The car is a 2006 Sonata GLS V6. It has automatic lights. When set to auto, at dusk the lights go on. However, when you shut the car off, only the headlights go off... the parking lamps and all interior lights/gauges stay on. They're not supposed to--at least for the first four years of car ownership they never did. What makes matters worse is, if you turn the stalk to shut the lights off manually, they rarely turn off. I've had to at times toggle between on/off 4-5 times before the lights would actually shut. Again, the headlights ALWAYS go off, but the parking/interior lights frequently stay on. I've tried leaving the lights in …

Hi guys. I have a 1994 Buick Park Avenue 3.8L First Series. The car had been sitting in the drive way for a year and hadn't been turned on. About a month ago I bought it out of retirement. It needed a new tire and a new battery and that was it. Started right up. I got the oil changed, put some STP in the gas tank and filled the tank up. I got the oil changed 2 weeks ago. I was running an errand today and it started making this terrible knocking noise. The dashboard said there was so NO oil at all in the engine. I pulled over and checked the oil and it was full. I drove it back home since I was about 5 mins away. Now the car won't even start. My neighbors insist its an oil…

I drive down the Hamilton Escarpment fairly regularly at night, without many people around, on the 403. It's a fairly steep (for an expressway) 2km long downhill. Just out of curiosity, which of the following would use less fuel? Situation 1 - Start at 120 km/h at top - Push in clutch, let car idle to bottom where it would be at about 100 km/h - Accelerate back up to 120 km/h gently Situation 2 - Start at 120 km/h at top - Leave in 5th, take foot off gas, going about 85 km/h at bottom - Accelerate back up to 120 km/h gently I usually just leave my cruise on, because I don't want to slow down just to save a little fuel. On a side note, I found out that …

I'm trying to wire my stereo in the Monte and I have no idea where the 12V constant lead from the harness goes to. The harness looks like this and the wire is the yellow one you'll see to the right of your screen. I think it plugs into the fusebox but I don't have any idea where. So far, no one at Monte Carlo SS.com has replied.

My step-son took his '98 Buick Regal LS with the 3.8L Series II V6 to the local Oil Change/Car Wash place because his low coolant light kept coming on. They flushed his engine with the pressure machine, put in new coolant, and replaced his "rusty" fuel filter. He left the place and the car was shaking like it wanted to stall out - the Service Engine Soon light was flashing, he said. I told him to meet me at the local Advance Auto Parts store so they could do a free OBDII code read. He got code P0300 - random multiple misfire (they said it would need to go to a mechanic). Tried to restart the car and it wouldn't crank over. Pushed it into a parking spot and left it t…

I first noticed the service engine light came on when I was driving yesterday, and when I accelerated, I heard a loud racket under the hood. The battery gauge on the dash also fluctuated a lot. Upon examination, the bottom of two pulleys on the passenger side was not turning. This pulley is driven by the ungrooved side of the serpentine belt. The pulley itself turned fairly easily by hand when I stopped the engine. The belt is about one year old too. The sound is caused by the belt rubbing hot against the pulley. What is this part that the pulley is turning? Would it require replacing, or is the belt too loose? I have included some pictures of the part in the atta…

I have been looking for a repair manual to buy for my 2012 VW Passat TDI and can't find anything for that year. I need to perform the DSG service, which VW charges 400 bucks for. I purchased the filter, gaskets and fluid for $150, but would like a manual to confirm how to perform this service. Any advice?

I just went to the auto show. As some of you know, I am looking at the LaCrosse and the Grand Prix. I am somewhat pissed off with the poor visibility in both. I then sit in a Malibu. The cabin is so user-friendly and the greenhouse is awesome. I have rented about 5 of these. They are nice enough, though I have more confidence in a GM V6 than I do in a 4 cylinder. I went over to a Saturn salesman and he said they inagurated this engine. He told me of clients who have put beaucoup miles on these without a tear down. Any bits of information or stories on how Eco-tec 2.2 litre 4 cylinder fares over the long run?

My friend swears by the seafoam and we put some in my car and in my sister's car and in our truck. We did the intake method on the truck (98 chevy 350) and the sis's mustang 3.8 On mine I put it in the oil cause we couldn't figure out where to suck it in. I have read that 250-500 miles I will have to change the oil in my 3800. Any thoughts?

I purchased this wonderful GMC hood ornament while at the AACA show last weekend in Hershey, which I'm pegging to be from '58 or '59 and from a heavy duty truck (not the 1/2 ton to 1-ton models). I'd love to get it sandblasted so I can repaint it in the traditional colors of white with red centers (assuming I don't go for rechroming). Would a typical neighborhood body shop offer sandblasting services? Or would I have to find a restoration shop instead? Sorry, forgot to include the picture:

Well, this might be pointless to post right now, because I don't have much information, as this isn't my car. My boyfriends car just broke down on him, and from what he told me and the 5 minutes of research I just did, it kind of sounds like a fuel pump - which seems to be a common issue on the Cavalier? Anyone familiar with this particular problem, or know what is involved in replacing it, or if there are any tests I could do to make sure that is the actual problem, and not something else? He pulled into the driveway, and the next day he went to start it and nothing happened. He said he turns the key and it doesn't crank at all, let alone turn over. He thought the b…

I have a squeal in the left front area of my 02 Grand Prix GT. It usually happens when I am in a straight line, sometimes it goes away when I turn to the left or right, sometimes it doesn't. I researched and think that it might be the CV joint or bad wheel bearing. This sound right? And how difficult is it to fix this? Thanks, -mk

Got A 2.2L 1997 Cavalier, and I'm getting this intermittent "clip, clip, clop" (sorta like horse hooves on cobblestone) sound coming from somewhere in the front right of the car sometimes between 40&60KPH... I think it's coming from the suspension, but I'm not sure, but it only goes through one sequence of the above sound, goes away for a few hours, and then happens again... I don't think it's the pavement I'm driving on, but I'm concerned about what it might be and if it might pose a safety risk further down the road. Any Insight??

I've noticed in the parking garage of the new building I live in, that I squeal my tires almost every time I turn a corner. The floors are concrete. I'm not going fast enough to actually slide the tires, probably about 10 mph. They're tight 90 deg corners, so I probably have to turn the wheel about 270 deg to make them. Right at the point where I have the wheel turned the most, just before I start unwinding it to go straight again, I will hear a squeak from the tires, I believe the outside one. I'm not giving it any gas in these corners, and I'm usually either just above idle in 1st or idling in 2nd, depending on how fast I'm driving that day. I have a 2005 Cobalt man…

So, I'm pretty good at engine work... and though I've never done it, I have a good understanding about transmissions. All the other general maintenance items around the car I'm pretty good with too. Except wheels and tires. I'm completely retarded about them. I don't understand what all the numbers for tire sizes are. I have only a vague idea of offsets on wheels. And can any 5 bolt wheel fit on any 5 bolt hub?! If some of you would be so kind as to edumacate me. I'd be grateful. P.S. Where this is eventually going is when I do buy an '85 Toronado I'd like to try and find a set of tasteful alloys that could fit the look of the car. I don't mind the standard wire …

Anyone ever try adding pure acetone into their gas? Two to three ounces per 10 gallons is supposed to increase mpg, improve combustion and performance without harming the engine or seals. It makes sense on the surface but am still a wee bit skeptical. (No, I'm not Scottish.) I understand that oil companies can make better blends that would benefit economy. Adding acetone is also supposed to burn cleaner and eliminate blackened tailpipes. As far as efficiency is concerned it makes you wonder why they add ethanol in some pumps because it doesn't exactly aid combustion Anyway, I'm not an expert on this and not one to buy into this $h! just becau…

So I noticed today someone put a very small ding in the front fender of the GTO I took a picture, and it doesn't show up that well but you can see it because of the high-resolution. It's in a rather odd place and I'm not sure if it can be popped out, so I thought I'd ask to see if anyone knows. The ding is in the upper part of red "circle," above the crease in the wheel flare.

Hey, you guys know how fanatical I am about prevent(at)ive maintenance. The Regal is a few days away from 260,000 miles (422,396 km), all of which are MINE! I got there by changing to oil anywhere from every 2,000 to 2,500 miles. At any rate, here's my question: Would you defer, or not do, a minor tune-up (spark plugs and having it scoped) and trans fluid change at this point? Last tune-up was 211,000. Last trans fluid was 222,000. If I did both near 260,000, I should theoretically go to 300,000 within the next scheduled interval. However, I am still getting excellent gas mileage (high 20s on the freeway) and shifts are smooth and detectable (sort of unchanged) an…

1998 Chevy truck with 309,000 miles. Fuel tank strap broke and the new strap also broke. Mechanic told me he couldn't promise me that the second one would hold. 3 weeks later the new strap broke also. The cross section where the fuel tank straps connect to is bad even though the frame was said to be OK. Another mechanic said it would cost too much....fuel tank would have to be removed as well as the bed.Now the strap closest to the cab is fine. So is it safe to drive the truck with a ratchet strap under fuel tank? Ratchet strap is supposed to work up to 1000 lbs. with a breaking point at 3000lbs. Roadside salt is death on car frames in northern US.

Since online stories seem to change, I am copy and pasting the instructions here: Uninstall the Copilot app The first thing you should do is uninstall the Copilot app. This is a Windows app and can be uninstalled like any other Windows app. There are a few ways to do this, and we’ll outline two of them. The fast way Hit the Windows Key to open your search and type in Copilot. Right-click the app with your mouse and select Uninstall. A window will pop up asking you to confirm. Do so. The app will be uninstalled. The harder way Open the Settings on your Windows PC. Navigate to Apps and then Installed apps. Find Copilot on your list of insta…

For the past while, whenever I accelerate, a weird whine goes through my trucks' speakers. The more I accelerate, the louder it gets, and sometimes it can be heard during cruising speed. I'm not too smart on car-audio, so I was wondering if anyone has an idea as to what's causing it, and how I can go about fixing it. The truck is a 1990 GMC Sierra, and the sound system is all stock, save for an Audiovox CD changer that was installed back in the 90's, and hasn't been used in years. Thanks.

so with 190K+ Monte's leaking coolant. the pump is about 10 years old with 60K+ miles. seems to only leak after it's warmed up some (pressure in the block? maybe loosing a quart over a week and 150 miles driven, 50 of that is very off and on. the leak is on the front of the engine... where the drips come from, been leaking slowly since late dec. prolly need to check it after 30 mins (after being driven) or so to see if there is an obvious stream. given this, do you think the culprit could be the water pump? what would you recommend i look for? also taking suggestions for cars to replace it with. ... what i'd look for, similar or better gas milage, either a radio…

My 2011 Charger has the automatic climate control system in it. This is the first summer I had owned the car. When I have the HVAC on auto and push the button to turn the recirc on, the light flashes three times and then goes off, indicating that it is not in recirc. I tried using it in the manual mode, and the same thing happens, the light flashes three times and shuts off. Is anyone familiar with this HVAC system or have any ideas what may be wrong? At 95 degrees, is like to run the a/c in recirc, but don't seem to be able to. I will take it to my dealership if needed, just curious if anyone here had any ideas. Thanks!

Alright, 1977 Monte Carlo. engine is in alright shape. 2 barrel carb. cleaned carb, filter, plugs, wires, etc. Now, when in nutural or park, and you rev the car, its fine, no bog no stall. But when I am driving, and I punch the gas it sometimes dies out. Its only when say I try to spin the tires, so basically take off from a slow, or dead stop. What do you all think ? Thanks.

Any of you who have been following my blog posts will know that we recently discussed the meaning of tint percentages in terms of VLT and darkness. This is an important topic for consideration not just for aesthetic reasons (i.e., you want your car to have a dark enough tint to look good) but for legal issues as well (you dont want you tints to get you a ticket). In my last post I tried to point out that the legal limit for tint percentages varies from state to state so it is always important for you to check with your local authorities to be sure that your tint falls within the acceptable range. One great way to be sure you are in compliance with state laws is to check w…

Hey, I've got the Big 3 scheduled: Minor tune-up this month (mostly for the plugs), Motor mounts next month (Dec.), and Trans fluid change, drop, drain, filter, the following month (Jan.) These will hopefully enable me to get to the 300K mark without these major service items So, question on the motor mounts. The car in question is my 92 Regal with the 3800 V6. I'm fairly convinced they (1 and/or 2) need replacement and will be letting a shop who is pretty straightforward do it. So, can changing them open another can of worms? Meaning, it is possible that, during this changeover, the position of the engine can change so as to mess up a tolerance with somet…
