A friend of mine that I have known for 30 years talked to me on the phone tonight. He and I shoot pool all the time when we get together. Anyway, we tells me he has been going to a new place to shoot pool, which he thoroughly enjoys. Turns out it is a strip joint. He tells me he shoots pool for a while then gets a table dance. He's been going once a week for a while now. He tells me that a stripper pulled him aside, and gave him her number and said she wanted to get with him outside the club. Now thats a first. 06 Passat 06 Passat black int 03 530i 04 RSX-S 03 A6 So my favorite is the BMW, but it is also the most expensive. The A6 is the cheapest, but also has the highest mileage. The Passat is one of the cheaper ones, and the newest, but the biggest drawback for me is FWD. Same for the RSX-S, but both will be better on gas. I'm really leaning towards the BMW or Passat, but am having a hard time deciding if I want to pay $2k more for a 3 year older car, as it would be stretching my budget right now.

Plymouth in it's heyday had huge sales, often in the top three in America. It was sad to see this brand disappear. It was created as an economy division. The name Plymouth is often thought to derive from the landing of the Pilgrims, but what finalized the deal for the name was the very popular, at the time, 'Plymouth Bindertwine'...which most people were aware of. It's sad to say but I will be parting ways with my xB within the next month or two. My family has decided to do some car rearranging in order to cut down on expenses and stop me from killing my sister. We have been sharing the xB for about the past year but she just started paying her portion last month. She doesn't care for it...allows people to smoke in it, trashes it, etc. I can't stand it. I was wondering what the wage was in peoples area and where the average stood. In Alberta which is the highest paid province in Canada has one of the lowest at $6.10/hr. I think wages should start no lower than $10/hr!

I still have to finish up some Calculus (Final Exam, take home test, and 3 HWs - the teacher always piles stuff on at the end) but other than that I'm home free. So I was talking to a friend today and he said his dad was buying himself a brand new FJ Cruiser to replace his 1996 Grand Voyager. Apparently he paid cash for it already and is taking delivery on Thursday. So what did I do? I told his son about the Frame problems, and showed pictures, and directed him to this site and others and told him of some of Toyota's other follies that nobody gets to here about. Last I heard, his dad was on his way to the Toyota dealer to tell the salesman the deal was off. () Chock one up for the good guys.

He's been suffering with terminal cancer for some time now and tomorrow the hospice care begins. It's going to be a rough time around here for a while and I may not be here so often. I have lots of things to get figured out and will need to be supporting my family in whatever way I can as things progress. I will update you when it makes sense to do so. I consider you folks my friends so I felt I had to post this.

After almost ten weeks of stress, aggravation & many, many dead ends I have finally sold my Super 88 to a worthy buyer. At 11:20 in the morning of April 4th 2007 I received a "subtantial" sum of money in my PayPal account. Just a few short hours later I was driving my 1959 Buick LeSabre home in a blizzard. I really do. Such good deals. Like this chair I got. For some time no my office chair has been broken...the seat wobbles and it feels like the mounting bracket is pushing through the cushion and against me. The other day I figured I'd look into what the problem was. Turns out the plarticlboard that the bottom of the seat is made of fractured, and the bracket really was pushing into the bottom cushion. As it also turns out the actual bracket has fractured. So the seat's junk and becoming more uncomfortable each day. Yep, it's that time. I've been busy the last few days, getting the cars ready for the winter. Yesterday, I changed the ATF in the wife's car. Drives like new! Also did the oil change, and rotated her tires. Besides a good cleaning inside and out, her car is ready for winter. This week, it's the Cobalt's turn. I'm debating about changing the ATF too. My dad's getting rid of his 2008 Infiniti M35x in favor of a 2010 Chevy Malibu 2LT. The reason for the change is really it had gotten difficult for him to drive a car all the time and he's taking over his wife's SUV (2008 Mercury Mariner)...and his wife found the Infiniti to be "too fancy" and wouldn't drive it. So *really* this will be his wife's car (and she used to have an Aveo), but I'm still happy I was able to talk him into a Malibu as I really hated the Subaru Legacy GT which was their other choice. One of my friends is buying the Inifiniti for his wife. And yes, I did use guilt and "as a taxpayer, you own part of GM" to squash the Subaru deal...finding a buye…

Saturday evening we bought a new Truck, 2006 Dodge Ram Mega Cab SLT equipped with a Cummins HO Turbo Diesel. I absoultely love this truck especially leg room compared to our old Quad Cab, I am 5'11' and my brother 6'4 so we had quit the legroom problem. We got the 5/6 thousand dollar employee pricing rebate plus another 2500 for financing with Chryler Financial. Im in the market looking for a new truck and last night I test drove a '07 Canyon Crew Cab. Wow that thing was nice. Smooth ride, decent amount of power, and quiet engine. The interior looked pretty good to me. I heard so many complaints about it, but it was nice to me. I also test drove a '07 Frontier. That thing was a piece of garbage. The interior felt cheaper than the canyon with all that hard, cheap plastic. The ride was bumpy. I also noticed in the frontier that when i hit the gas kinda hard, the transmission was searching for gears. That seemed kinda odd to me.
