Something that has always bothered me about the Pontiac Solstice would be how they moved the placement of the arrowhead badge and the hood cutline from the concept car. The repositioning of the badge also gives the car more of a "cheeky" look that bothers me a little bit. Just something that I came to a full realization of while looking at my sig. Still a beautiful car, however, and it doesn't do much in the way of dampening my appreciation of the car.

First big cookout of the year is going on as I type. Hamburgers on the grill, cold beer and other assorted beverages in the cooler, and a nice little fire going in my newly built (literally started yesterday and finished today) fire pit. Well I've come to the conclusion that I may need to sell my Riviera. The car is having one problem after naother due to the fact I cannot afford to fix it right now. last night my service engine light came on, and when I hooked up my scanner it pulled 6 codes. the main one is a missfire on cylinder 6. I recently had a miss and had a coil pack and spark plug replaced about a month and a half ago. Now another coil pack seems to have gone. I also need brakes relaly bad and tires. Last Thursday night/Friday morning a thunderstorm rolled through Fargo. One of the loudest thunderstorms I have ever been in the middle of. The thunder was actually shaking the house and the lightning was non-stop. Very odd for this time of year as well as it was only like 60 that day and in the mid 50s when this storm rolled through. If a worker fails to deflate a tire before maintenance, it can explode and send them flying a considerable distance - in some cases, hundreds of feet. I have a chart of commonly used tire sizes, each with a 'energy ft/lbs' figure. For example, a 40 x 57 tire has 807,218 ft/lbs of energy when cold. Also, on the bright side, I finally have about half of my stuff moved into my dorm room at school. Thank God I won't have to commute all of the time. Well, when the dealership changed out the spark plugs when we first got the GTO, they drove it around for a minute to make sure everything was okay. Anyways, they said the instrument cluster glitched while they were driving it, so they ordered us a new one and said they'd call us when it came in. This past week, I found myself in "defensive driving" situations ... one worked out very well, the other almost ended not so well.... Hey just figured i'd tell you guys that i wound up getting the Cadillac that i put the holding deposit on It's a 2004 3.6L Infra-red or whatever Caddy calls its dark red color these days... black leather interior... it has wood trim on the steering wheel and shifter knob which i beleive designates the luxury package... not sure tho... it has 36,000 miles on it and will only cost me about 20,000 plus taxes i'm picking the car up tomorrow and ill get some pictures then so stay tuned

I've read that with the free trail versions of Photoshop, you can't save, print, or export. Has anyone downloaded it to either verify or dismiss that? I'm getting fairly sick of my existing photo editing software and have been looking into Photoshop. I don't want to go through the trouble of downloading such a large program if I'm only going to be able to play with it and it's certainly too expensive to buy outright. Yesterday at work I rode with one of my co-workers to lunch in his '07 Lexus GS450. And after work, a bunch of us went out to a bar and I rode in an older Lexus IS300 (probably an '02 or so). My impression after being in both: what's the big deal? Especially the GS...the interior plastics were hard as a rock and grained no better than a Cobalt. I've also been in a new Avalon and Prius and neither impressed me as far as interiors go. I'd say the Avalon was the best of all mentioned above, however. This brings me to my second point.
