So this past Wednesday CSpec and I met up for the first it. It was great meeting a member from the site, we need to do this sort of thing more often. We hung out for somewhere around four hours, talking about the site, our cars, and playing around with his new camera. So of course, since cameras were involved, I took photos with my own.

I don't usually put change in my pocket before I leave the house. This morning, a penny came out in the wash, so I put it in my shorts before going grocery shopping. As I waited in the self-checkout, I counted my money. Exactly $61.01 in my pocket. Imagine my shock and delight when my bill came to... $61.01!!!!! How often does this happen? Should I play the lottery?

Went to bed at 3:49am, set Alarm Clock for 7:40am, I startled myself awake (nightmare) and litteraly as soon as I stood up out of bed and starred at the alarm clock it turned from 7:39 to 7:40 and the alarm went off. Less than 2 seconds after my having woken up. What's more creepy than the fact that my alarm clock is Atomic Clock accurate is the fact that this heppens quite often. Bizzare & frankly, a bit perplexing. Anyone else have this happen on occasion?

The President spoke at a meeting today at the hotel just north of the office building where i work today. Literally a couple hundred feet or less away. The point where they brought him in the building was across from the north side of our floor which I work on. So we spent a good deal of the afternoon waiting to see the motorcade arrive and leave. I've been thinking... Rather than getting a loan and buying something nice right away, should I just look into another beater? Course, one that isn't as much of a money pit as nor as inefficient as the Cutlass. I currently have about $1200 saved up that could go towards something... decent. I was wondering if any of you guys could give me advice on a camera tripod. The one I have is old and well, a piece of crap. It's held together with J-B Weld, lacks the features I want, but worst of all, can't hold the camera steady. So here's my criteria: Durable, but fairly lightweight Must be able to tilt the camera 90 degrees and be able to pan up and down...at the very least. My son was getting extremely rambunctious (probably the first 2.5 year old to ever be that way) so I pulled out his gigantic Hot Wheels collection. Barely a peep out of him since, he's on the office floor playing with all the cars, occasionally making "Vroom, Vroom" noises. His favorites seem to be the Plymouth Prowler and BMW 850ci. I was wondering if $25800 CAN is a good price for a fuly loaded 2004 Bonneville GXP w/o NAV with 32000kms? I think it is a good deal and it is a beautiful car. It is black. I am thinking it is a good deal because they had a used Solstice with 1700 kms and it was gone in 2 days. They also get rid of almost any car they have in about a week.

My parents really want our old car back so they heard about the whole history report thing so they want to track down the vehicle. They really want it back for a vehicle for me and we believe it is one from the good batch. It is our beloved 1989 Chrysler Dynasty LE. I want to see possibly where it went and track it down if possible. We got rid of it in 2002 with just over 120k on it I believe. It had no body rust even and ran great. It had a V6 and blue cloth interior with bench seat. It was dark blue on the outside. This car has great sentimental value and we realize now we should've kept it. I bought new speakers (with a sub!) - and hooked them up-nothing- So I tested the old and new speakers on my walkman-they BOTH work. I've gone though everything-Can't figure it out. So unexpected and didn't know it was available here yet.....saw a Buick Lucerne V8 on the street in deep burgundy, in Calgary, Alberta.
