Hey y'all. I just got out of the theater after seeing Ghost Rider. I have to say that the movie was definitely worth the money I laid down for it. Followed the comic series quite well and really was cast pretty well. I can't really go into the whole story of the Ghost Rider without giving away parts of the movie. All I have to say is that its worth it and really good. I enjoyed the world out of it (then again, that might have also been becuase it was just ME that went to the theater, no family attached). There were also the previews for Fantastic 4 II: Rise of the Silver Surfer, and Spidey 3, both of which looked pretty good indeed. Anyway, has anyone else seen it…

I almost fell out of my drivers side window when I noticed this Chevrolet advertisement on a billboard parallel to I-85 in Charlotte NC. The ad is sponsored by Sonny Hancock Chevrolet. I'm home for a week. But when I go back to Charlotte, I *WILL* get a picture, you can bet on it! I was LOVING every minute of it! I mean, just with the term 'yuppie' alone they have what, like 85% of Toyota's clientele captured. EDIT: Der, I spelled Yankee wrong... LOL.

It's only for a week, but she has to travel to Kansas from here (MA) to put her stuff in storage since she broke the lease to her apartment. We had her car's oil changed and looked at, seems ok...but this is deffinitely one of those times I hope Toyota's quality is as good as they say. It hurts like hell that I can't go with her because of school and mid-terms...and it may be a week but I miss her already...it's our first time apart since May. It was a teary goodbye. If it's not too much trouble just wish her luck and a safe trip, it'd me a lot to me...thanks.

I've got a tree in my backyard that I absolutely hate. Its a crabapple tree and I want it to die a slow, painful, torturous death. But my dad likes it and is more than willing to make a spot in his yard for it. Problem is, its pretty mature, at least 11 years old, around 6 feet tall. Is there any way to get it out without killing it?

So, anyone ever had it before? Did it go away quickly? Anyone mistake you for a drug addict? I woke up with it this morning in both eyes. I am absolutely miserable. I can't see worth a $h!, my eyes ache constantly, and I have to clean $h! outa my eyes all the time. I'm hoping that it goes away soon, but the problem I have is that I am allergic to sulfa drugs. And, all the eye drops for pink eye are sulfa based. So they gave me some ointment that might work or might not. If it doesn't I'll hae to keep trying different things until something works.

It doesn't work with firefox. I don't know why, but it works fine in IE.

For the past couple years I haven't really known what I wanted, and this year again I don't have any idea. I guess I don't really think I have a need for anything... So what is everyone else asking for this holiday?

I almost never watch TV but the TV is always on at the restaurant, set to ESPN or some other sport program, that ad is on all the freekin' time and it makes my brain bleed. I somehow locked my goddamn keys in my car... with it running. Fuck if I know... It wasn't locked when I got out of it and I didn't lock it. Anyways, It has about half a tank. There aren't any locksmiths that I know of here in Brookville (atleast not in the phonebook) and even if I did, I'm flat broke. I can't get ahold of any family members. They are either working, not picking up the phone, or working. I'm missing school too (will be my 4th this year, already). I need to either get in the damn thing or shut it off. Man, that car looks awesome! I had never seen them except in the papers. I never knew they looked this good. Nice car!" I thanked him and haven't stopped grinning since. Hello, Long time lurker... My current career is coming to an end this December as the company is moving their stuff over seas... Anyway, I have always wanted to sell new Chevrolets and I'm not sure if this is feasible. It is something I would like to do part time while still employeed to test the waters... Is there anyone here who has experience with this field? Is the pay good, is it stressful or is it rewarding. I would definately NOT be one of those slimeballs just looking to make a sale... Friday was my first day working at the Simoniz (Wash Depot inc.) car wash and detail center in Nashua NH, and boy, I've never seen so many dumb people in my life. For you to understand these first few stories, you have to be able to visualize how the car wash, or at least the track system, works. fairly self explanitory, the person drives their car up (with us guiding them) so the drivers side wheel is in the track between the guard rail, then when we hit the "program" button on the computer, one of the orange roller things pops up and pushes the car through the carwash. My granddad has had stage 4 cancer in his lungs and lymph nodes. This morning, hospice was to come and begin taking care of him. His wife told him that hospice was on their way. He immediately grabbed his 357 Magnum, went into the backyard behind his shed and shot himself in the head. He died instantly. He was 89. I will be away for a few days taking care of business. I just wanted to let everyone know what is going on.

I went to see the movie Click this weekend. It was a very good movie but it wasn't too much of a comedy. This was the most serious part I have seen Adam Sandler play in a movie. The first bit is funny but then the movie starts to get really serious. It actually makes you realize life better. It gives a good message and Christopher Walken plays a good part as well. I would say this is a must see movie. The Cadillac Sixteen concept even makes an appearance in the movie. Lucky Adam Sandler. He got to drive it, lol.

This morning my father passed away rather suddenly. He was 64. Last Friday he had a massive heart attack. His heart stopped beating for 21 minutes before the paramedics revived him. Unfortunately, his brain activity was minimal. We pulled the ventilator on Sunday, and he died early this morning. As tragic as this is, its a realization that I should have told him I loved him more. I never got to thank him for instilling in me my love for cars, the outdoors, and life. Since its cold enough to freeze hell outside i decided to get the oil change at the dealer since i had a discount thing in the mail. Well, a couple weeks ago there wasn't much work to do at work, so I got off early a couple days... as a result, I decided to detail the Goat, which was a bit dirty. In all, it took about 6 hours if I remember correctly, and I didn't even touch the interior. Washed it, clayed it, washed it again, and then waxed it with some great 3M wax (some of the best out there). After waxing the body, I waxed the wheels and shined the tires. The results:

I am on vacation and in the Southland heading for my home in Texas to see my mother, then after that on to California. We have stopped for the night. GM will let you know what it plans to do as far as cost cutting goes within the corporation, this will happen at 8:30 AM tomorrow. GM gave me the 2010 SRX for a long weekend. Quite a good car. With the AWD and adaptive "FE3" suspension, the handling starts to feel almost Audi-like. Looks great inside and out. Absolutely kills the RX in styling. I didn't really like the way the SRX looked on the outside at first, but the more I see it, the more I like it. Just one of those cars you need to see in person.

Long story short: -Let sister borrow car today. -Doors already unlocked when she goes to open it. So... what's on BV's mind this time, you ask? Well... I found out a new view in which I love about my Grand Am. I just love how it looks when you're looking at the front, not straight on, but slightly 3/4 where the mirror seems equal to end of the rear passenger window. Especially at night where the the body blacks out and the small amount of light hits the shiny innards of the lights. I've been looking at Google maps' Street View the last hour or two... this is INSANE! You can go to Australia, Spain, etc and see streets and everything! If you're lost... go to Google Maps, then think of somewhere to go (type in Detroit or something). Look at the regular map, then on the left (on top of the zoom scroller) is a little man you can click and drag to the street. Then the world is yours and you can look at many, many places. It's nuts!
