I just noticed something weird about the Camaro. Most cars, and even the concept, have their calipers behind the front rotor and ahead of the rear rotor. The production car looks to have its calipers behind both rotors. Ok - just a random question... We've seen spy pics of the Camaro and Challenger on Detroit Area roads. Has anyone seen or been able to substantiate any chance they may share the same roads at the same time? Seeing both of them together by accident (nudge-nudge-wink-wink) would be a major buzz generator. Maybe our Detroit area C&G'ers could enlighten us?

Just back from Chevy's "build & price" situation, and on the 2007 Cobalt SS/SC options list is the lower-profile T43 spoiler, priced at $0. I know in years past, when new model year info was first posted, it was sometimes incomplete and even wrong in spots. I'd like to know if anyone in sales can confirm this spoiler option. I'd really like to see a spoiler delete option... or make the wing a dealer-installed thing like the ION Redline, so the customer has a chance to decline it. Chevrolet Bolt Gen 2 in 2025? At the 1 min 25 sec mark, the Bolt discussion begins and they talk about the production of the autonomous BOLT. Plenty of other EV info on BMW, MB and Kia plus so much more. I have to question the 2025 release of Bolt 2.0 as that would put the current bolt into an 8yr run which in today's society, would be 4yrs past due and very old. I more or less expect a refresh next year with a new version in 2020 as a 2021 model or 2021 as a 2022 model.

Last week in (yet another) celebration of the arrival of the 2010 Camaro, a parade of some 40 Inferno Orange Metallic Camaros rumbled from Victory Park in Dallas to Sundance Square in Ft. Worth with a police motorcade. It was Chevrolet's first large-scale Camaro event, and hopefully it means that now we can get on to seeing them on the streets, instead of just talking about them being on the streets. So my GM rep was in town yesterday, and I noticed on my allotment list that it contained "Captiva" on the Chevrolet list. I questioned him about whether or not it was a mistake, and he told me it wasn't and that it would be in Canada as a 2007 model shortly after the new year. I had been told this a few months ago, but I wasn't too sure about it. He confirmed that it is true and that it would be brought over from Europe.

It is a computer generated town with new and old Chevy's cruising around like '64 Impala's to a new HHR. The cool part is you can into a chop-shop and view videos and do other interactive stuff in 2 other areas currently with a few more on the way. If you have your heart set on getting a 2015 Chevrolet Corvette, you'll be waiting a bit for the chance. General Motors announced today that it has issued two stop-sale notices that cover 2,800 2015 model year Corvettes. About 2,000 Corvettes have a potential problem with the driver's side airbag which may have been not properly attached and could separate in a crash. Another 800 Corvettes sitting on dealer lots may have only have one parking brake cable attached and not two. This causes the parking brake not to be as effective as it should be. General Motors announced today that certain 2015 Chevrolet and GMC trucks and SUVs will trade in their six-speed automatic for an eight-speed automatic. Those models include, Chevrolet Silverado GMC Sierra GMC Yukon Denali/Yukon XL Denali The catch is that all of these models must have the 6.2L V8 to get the eight-speed. Automobile Magazine reports that the Cadillac Escalade is also line to get the eight-speed transmission in the near future. The 2.8L Duramax turbodiesel four-cylinder will pack 181 horsepower and 369 pound-feet of torque. This engine will come with a six-speed automatic and automatic-locking rear differential as standard equipment. Next is tow ratings.
