I ask because, I've seen and heard more and more mantras from various people ... and I'm curious if this is something that we all do, even subconsciously.... In other words, do people experience the _complete_ you? If you hold back ... why? Is your opinion not popular? Is a passion of yours "too weird"? Do you feel like an outcast ... or that you don't belong? If you don't hold back ... have you always been this way ... or did you experience a change that made you decide to "throw caution to the wind" and let people see the complete you? It appears that the new Ford Focus will also feature it. Mazda 6 (?) BMW 3 series 2019 Ford Focus The Malibu has it, sort of, but it looks fairly well integrated. IDK Someone might think this funny, or maybe not. You just have to take into context this story is from days gone by. Just heard this story recently, thought I'd share. Story Subject One - Grandfather, kind to his grandchildren, strict with his eleven children - and don't mess with him type of owner in his paint & body shop. Subject Two - Disgruntled customer looking over the body & paint work - saying they don't like the job, and not going to pay. Result Subject One - Grandfather pulls out a tire ratchet, smashes car and asks how they like it now? Subject Two - Disgruntled customer takes his insurance job to another shop. You wou…

For like 8-10 years I have had my own .com primarily for useless reasons, and to run a constant and consistent email address through it. My domain i believe is paid and registered through like 2010 or 2011 but here is the catch. they keep fcking with their email plan and setup. and it pisses me off. I route all of the mail through this domain through an all inclusive gmail account because its on the cloud. One of the reasons i did this was first the domain host changed the inbox size from very big to -5 MB- stored unless i wanted to pay like 20 bucks a month. F that I said, i kept the free email and its been working fine to just have it forwarded to my gmail, it get…

I'm "angered/frustrated/saddened by domestic violence" is what I posted as a status on Facebook a day or so after I was told by a good friend of mine that another friend had been killed by her husband. I've known Amy for ~12 years. She had a heart of gold, and the world has lost a wonderful person. This is yet another "senseless act" ... and, to me, another reminder of how fragile life is, how much we need to "stick together", and how much violence doesn't particularly solve anything, but just adds more pain to the situation.... http://www.indystar.com/article/20100325/NEWS02/3250494/Two-die-after-Grant-Co.-standoff Cort | 36swm.IL | "Mr Monte Carlo"."Mr Road Trip"…

  78. Well you heard it folks, it is a waste of money to change your oil every 3000 miles! Ya know, if DF and I did not change the oil in the Intrepid every 3000 miles, we would not have that car anymore cause the engine would be dead from oil sludge. http://finance.yahoo.com/insurance/article...hs-and-Mistakes

Well...I'm mostly mad at myself. Coming home from work today I'm behind this chevy pickup going about 45-50mph. All of a sudden he swerves into the right lane for what seems no reason at all. Then, I see this white explorer stopped waiting to turn left. Since there is a car in the right lane next to me I have no choice but to slam my brakes on hard. Well, I stop fine. Only a few block up the street I'm speeding up to catch the green light. Now, at 60mph. It changes yellow. > Well, I can take this little side road to the left and bypass the light. (This light takes 5-7 minutes to change. Added with getting stopped by other lights ahead, this can add 15 minutes …

I'm just fascinated that this is my 1234th post. Sequence... yeah... Anyways, I don't know where these next few weeks are going to lead me. I thought I was on my way out of the depression, but I'm heading back into it. Just so much crap is bothering me. There's my GA, which I'm not sure I really wanted to sell in the first place. I mean, I've always talked about it but now that I actually have to, I almost don't want too. But I have to. I need my own form of transportation as I've been trapped in this hell-hole of a house for almost 2 weeks now. I'm going insane. I wake up, go to school, come home, and basically be bored all freakin&#…

  85. Automotive News July 30, 2007 - 12:01 am As legislators, regulators and automakers look for ways to improve fuel economy, they must remember that consumers will make the ultimate choices. And that's going to cause a few surprises. One example: Consumers are bidding up the prices of used cars and trucks equipped with fuel-saving diesel engines. That contradicts conventional wisdom, which holds that Americans gave up on diesels in the 1980s. Some environmentalists turn up their noses at diesel engines, but technological advances have made diesels more palatable to U.S. consumers. The Power Information Network estimates that U.S. consumers will buy more than 500,00…

Don't you just love it when you had plans to do something (like a trip or something) and someone bails out and cancels at the VERY last minute? So either you do what you had planned alone or not even bother. Granted sometimes they've canceled because something tragic or important happen that I can understand, but when they cancel because "they don't feel like it" just... I don't know why, but crap like this happens to me all the time and it's not with just one friend in particular it's with quite a few of them. I'm not someone who gets pissed off often but this is one of the little things that grate on my nerves.

Last week was my last goof-off trip of summer as I plan to move within the next month. Up in Canada, I had two rental cars...an Allure (LaCrosse) for a week followed by a Camry for a day. In the Allure and in all GM products, when the door locks are in the closed position, you cannot open the door from the inside. In the Camry (and I believe in Chrysler and Ford products), when the door locks are in the closed position, you still can open the door from the inside. Maybe I'm showing bias for GM (so what else is new), I think that the closed door lock should also mean one cannot open the door freely with the handle inside the car. I've never understood why Toyota …

Well to make a long story short, two years ago I had a transmission fluid flush done on the Riviera at around 85K miles. At the time there was nothing "wrong" with it, I just wanted to treat my car to a bit of preventative care. Well I soon came to find that my decision to prevent possible transmission problems down the road was actually the cause of them. Soon after the car was serviced my smooth shifting transmission started slipping into overdrive. At first it was only when the car was cold and once it was at full operating temp it was fine. This went on for awhile until it became more and more frequent, and began to not go into overdrive at all. Finances have be…
