I have some friends I work with that have family at Lordstown and work on the G5 and Cobalts built there. One guy I work with has an uncle who does final checks and runs the new cars on a wheel dyno. Sorry I don't have all the details but from what I have been told he has been training on a new Cobalt Turbo. The only main details I could gleem are that it is much more powerful than the present SS. He also said the engine really was much the same as the Sky and Solstice just in a transvese location. Here is what I have from someone who manger went to the GM dealers show. Take it for what it is but I think it is pretty much on the mark as it is what I expected to here. I figured It would be limited as already stated by Al Oppenhiser. As it will have a LS3. Guys, just registered, need help quick! The horn is stuck on my Chevrolet Lumina Sedan. 1998 base model. Last night, the steering wheel got hit hard. Now, any time I turn to the right, the horn starts blaring until I move the wheel. What can I do? I tried to find the fuse to no avail. If I can cut the line or something so I never have a horn again, that's perfectly fine with me.

General Motors will begin importing the Colorado and Silverado pickups into China next year, but you'll only be able to buy them in select markets. Automotive News explains that many Chinese cities have bans on pickups for the fear of aggravating air pollution and causing more traffic issues. But earlier this year, the Chinese Government lifted the ban in four provinces - Henan, Hebei, Liaoning, and Yunnan - in an effort to jumpstart sales of domestic pickups. GM sees an opportunity with this and wants to explore it. But there is a major downside to this. So I gets a letter in the mail from some settlement claims place in like Butt, Montana telling me about a class action lawsuit against GM for faulty speedometers in their 03-05 m/y 15/25/3500's (Tahoe, Yukon, Silverado, Sierra, Avalanche, Suburban). Says basically the original speedometers will...not may, will go bad at one time or another, either displaying the wrong speed, or no speed at all.
