Yeah, my comp crashed last night...Finally got it fixed...but not just fixed, oh no no no no no. Basically it "crashed" because I messed with the setup....see ever since I had to format my HD from an evil SOB virus, the computer has been performing sub-par compared to what it used to. Flash vids and games had to be on lowest quality and they still lagged, and my games would like a lot when I had the settings way up. I knew this couldn't be right. So I went on record a few months ago as saying I probably will not buy too many post 1979 Vehicles in the future. Now this obviously excludes stuff like a 5th gen. And the only prescription is a '68-72 Corvette. Someone talk me out of it! I want to buy one, maybe next spring. I want to just keep an eye out for one that's really, really cheap (aka a car that's been sitting around and needs a lot of TLC) and then restore it to look exactly how I want it to sound, look, and feel. I now officially hate commercial trucks. A few days ago we brought the sebring to Town and Country for a scratch repair on the rear bumper and the hood and for an estimate of the damage my mom caused to it a few weeks ago, and they gave us an 07 PT base for a loaner car. Over the weekend, I logged into my State Farm account to pay my homeowners insurance...I saw the listing of my policies--my home owners insurance, 4 car policies..then I realized one of the car policies was for a 2005 Hyundai Santa Fe...which I don't own. Well, I didn't go up in a balloon, but I helped with one. I'm now the Ground Crew Chief for a small hot air ballooning outfit here in the Tampa area. I was just on the western cruise on the Royal Caribbean cruise ship, Mariner of the Seas. This was my 2nd time on this ship, as well as my second cruise, and I had a blast, what with the amazing shows/performances, entertainment, appearence, crew,ect. Has anyone been on this ship before? My dad is considering getting a third a car for all of us to run. With the Sunfire still having problems, my Millenia being impossible to diagnose, and my brother needing a car to pratice driving with... It would really be nice. He found a goldish 1999 Oldsmobile Alero GL coupe with 73k that he may get. Signed papers for it, but can back out if needed. Not sure of the price as he didn't really specify. Yesterday, I finally began work on the electra. I started by sanding down all of the rust on the passenger side and spraying it with semi flat white auto enamel. Today, im going to continue doing that u tillall of the rust is gone. Then im going to use body filler to fill in the dings, small dents, and a few holes i discovered. then im going to repaint. Finally, its going to the paintshop for a new coat of paint. As, money flow increases, the nasty rear quarter damage will get removed. After the exterior, theres only a few mechanical things to get done. The interior just needs a headliner.

It looks like I'll be moving to Canada in a few months. Great band, one of the ones from the 90s that I think will be still be remembered long after the fact. It's one of the few bands where they have changed their style throughout the years yet I still enjoy it all. My favorite album is Siamese Dream. TOP (green) modified by pushing front wheel forward BOTTOM (silver/blue) production 2007 DTS The wheelbase is the only thing I modified, the overall length and all else is unchanged. This is a perfect example of what I'm talking about when I say that in profile FWD cars (with transverse mounted motors esp.) are awkward, ungainly & in many cases look just plain dumb to my eyes. The front wheels look like they've been pushed back 4" to 10" and the wheelbase looks way too short as a direct result. I think the green (modified) car looks a million times better. THOUGHTS!?

This time, it was the sebring. We were driving to our neighbors family's house and everything was fine. We got to their street an in order for my mom to park in front of the house, she had to make a u turn. So she made the turn and all of a sudden, it felt like we had hit the curb, went onto it and then drove back onto the street. In actuality we hit a pile of broken cement that was left by the town in the street about 2.5 feet high. There is damage on the sheet metal below the front passenger door and the bottom corner of the bumper is scraped and a little deformed. PICS TO COME

Today as I sat behind yet another Toyota Highlander Limited 4X4 Automatic V6 at a stop light, it hit me...all of this badging announcing to the world what your car is equiped with really makes me mad! Yeah so, I'm on vacation this week. I leave to go camping tomorrow and I bought a new tent that sets up in the truck bed. It got here fast, I ordered it Friday and it came on Saturday. So I put the truck in the backyard, took off the tonneau and did a test set-up. All the hype on the box said "20 minute setup!" Yahright. An hour later and I finally got the thing erected. The tent is made by a Canadian manufacturer, so the instructions were written in English... with a French accent. Oui? Non. What is this? So... I'm trying to end the seemingly never ending saga of what is causing my Milly's engine to miss. We've been unable to really find anything wrong with it that would cause that. Seeing my older 4 Monte Carlos literally covered in dust, and sadly STILL not "on the road" for 2007, made me realize I don't have a lot more weekends to really give them a cleaning. Yesterday on my way back from a delivery traffic was slowing down, and moving into the other lane...it was to avoid a guy on a bicycle...but not just any bicycle.
