While I was out working today, Arkus pulled his Houdini act and got out of his crate. There was a terrible dogfight, and now I have two injured dogs. Zora really got the worst of it. Now I have to decide which one will be leaving, and figure out how the hell I'm going to make that happen. F'ing hell!

I've been to Pensacola FL many times. I like to go in the shoulder season and mid-week when it's still warm and not too crowded. I may be getting a free ticket on Southwest. Since I have no other vices and I'm cheap, this is the only area where I spend money. I'm looking at their route map and it looks like I could get fairly close to South Padre Island, TX. Not at ALL interested in going when college students are around, so I will pick another quieter time. After all, it's for R & R. Anybody been? Is it nice? Clean, warm water? Good food? My cousin was driving us back from a movie in their Taurus when an old lady pulled up beside us in a 98 Camry on the highway. My cousin for fun decided to hit the gas to try to pass her a bit and see if she would race. Then she nails her gas and she flew by us like we were standing still and we were doing 80. In a couple minutes we couldn't even see her. Funny thing was both cars had handicapped license plates.

I came up with an idea of replacing the front plate with a decal that could go on the windshield, and thought I'd research CA law for $h!s-n-giggles to see exactly why a front plate is required and if such a decal idea would work. Understand politics a little bit? I don't feel like researching, but I'd like to learn a little more UNBIASED information about politics. Where do Democrats and Republicans usually differ? I know Dems are tree humpers and Reps typically will go to war much quicker than a Dem. I honestly don't know hardly anything about this stuff and I wish I did since I can vote now. I also have to look up the people running.. whose all running to be Dem and to be Rep right now? Isn't it basically between Obama and Clinton right now for Democrats? And I only know of McCain running for Republican... Somebody, please, enlighten me.

I thought I would see if this is a common practice at other dealers as well. When we were test driving vehicles, the Chevy/Cadillac dealer (and no one else) put a "protection package" on every single new vehicle they had. The package was basically some sort of scotch guard type application done to the interior, nitrogen in the tires, and the windows were etched with the VIN or whatever it is they do. Anyways, this package is $599, and it's on every f@#king vehicle. Really annoying to see a $20,800 Cruze bumped to $21,399, or even worse on an Cruze LS or Aveo. The dealer still has the Regal but I don't want it. I went to go make a deal on the Cherokee but they sold it off. I went to the back lot to look but they had something better. My patience is up, I found THE ONE. So sitting back there with an 1989 Pontiac 6000 Safari with portholes, a 1997 Cavalier, and the Regal is a 2000 Pontiac Sunfire GT with only 114,000 kms on it. I am considering a low-mileage car, unfortunately it is a 1995 Neon but it does have 76,000 kms and is almost free of rust except for the underbody. They want $2000 for this car certified and all repaired, it needs new exhaust and new lines. Would this vehicle be worth $2000?
