Chevrolet has revealed the first details and images of the upcoming 2020 Silverado HD that will be premiering in February - most likely at the Chicago Auto Show. AutoGuide recently obtained a California Air Resources Board (CARB) document listing the pairings for the 6.2L V8 and various transmissions for the 2019 Camaro and Corvette. In the 'Trans Type' column, the Camaro is listed with M6, M7, and SA8. The middle one is the interesting bit as it hints that the Camaro will get a seven-speed manual. AutoGuide believes the seven-speed in question is the one used in the Corvette. But there arises an issue with this conclusion. The seven-speed manual transmission for the Corvette mounts at the rear axle, whereas the manual transmission for the Camaro mounts at the engine. I'll just say what I heard as a rumor: From what I've seen or heard, they're aiming for 0-60 in less than 2.5 seconds. And they've beat it, by a bit. They're aiming for over 200 MPH. And they've done it. (Well, duh.. the Z06 goes like 197 doesn't it?) Something special happens around 140 MPH and around 190 MPH It'll cost around a hundred grand in US dollars (which was pretty much already known) They want to beat the best in the world for less than a quarter of a cost. 19 owners of the 2006 - 2014 Chevrolet Corvette Z06 and 427 models have filed a class-action lawsuit against General Motors against an engine issue. The lawsuit says the 7.0L V8 fitted in these models have excessive valve guide wear that leads to engine failures. The suit goes on to say that GM is aware of this problem, but hasn't come up with a solution. According to Law360, General Motors began testing vehicles equipped with the V8 and were able to replicate the problem. So we have a couple of vehicles over here that are not avalible in the united states. first of, i'll start with the zeta impala, i wish i had pictures to show you, but it looks confused between a current impala (rear looks the same as current gen including tail lights.) and the front doesnt really know whats going on, has the same side profile almost as the g8, and front lights look like bug eyes, not so pleasent. didnt really get a chance to look it over as i was driving by on a bus. the lumina, looks to be on the epsilon, looks kinda similar to the 08 malibu, but it looks like it wasnt given the same refinement as the malibu, although the tail lights might be a go…

I've read a few rumors and seen one drawing that indicates that the new 08 Malibu is going to have quite an up-market appearance, and be the first car of the "new Chevy design" -- whatever that is. Anyone heard or seen anything lately about this new upcoming Malibu? I really hope that it lives up to the hype, because the current Malibu, however nice a driver it might be, just sucks from a style perspective; it screams "rent-a-car."

I just purchased a 2006 Colorado 4x4 Extended Cab Z71. I really don't like the small 15 inch wheels and tires and would like to replace them with the 18 inch wheels that come with the Extreme and the ZQ8 sport suspension option. Is this a possible swap? I have always heard that 2wd wheels will not work on 4wd trucks, but its not like I'm going mudding with it and putting all of the stresses of a 4wd on it daily. Some hauling, some towing, but thats about it. Does anyone know if this will work? Someone help me out on this one. The 2006 Impala's 3.5 V-6 (210 hp) can take E-85 gas, but not the 3.5 in the Malibu, G6. For that matter, why don't all of GM's passenger V-6 and V-8 engines at least have the option of E-85 gas? The station down the street from my office is selling 101 octane E-85 at $1.98 per gallon, as opposed to the $2.79 for low octane unleaded at the same station.
